Great review! Thank you for thoroughly covering all the aspects, especially the latency tests, hot-swapping capabilities, and app features. Truly, one of the best controllers out there, if not the best!
Nice Review Love it can You recommend what controller should I buy First I was Thinking to buy fly digi vader 4 pro but after watching your video I am confused so now I have three options Fly Digi Vader 4 pro Machenike g6 Machenike g5 pro v2 now the thing I am only gonna play fortnite on pc with wired so can you suggest me which 1 would be the best? and also this is my first time buying this pro controller in my whole life I have used dual sense 4 controller
If you are going to only play fortnite I'd recommend the flydigi vader 4 pro. Fortnite has a built in deadzone of 5% and using the deadzone compensation setting in the software you can lower it to 0% for better accuracy, otherwise I'd recommend the G6 Pro Star Flash.
@StardustLegacyFighter none of their controllers have 4 rear buttons, the G5 Pro and v2 have a much better back button design and its the best ive used on any controller by far. It does have shoulder buttons to make up for the 2 less buttons but I would like the option of 4 rear buttons and 2 shoulder buttons. The only reason id use more than 2 rear buttons is more macros in certain games.
@@n64slayer How about stability on 2.4ghz no drop out connection or anything? And can you change circularity algorithm like the vader 4 pro to rectangle?
@@andrie20Just to be clear, I've not had any connection issues with my Vader 4 Pro whatsoever, and neither have most ppl that I've spoken to about this controller.
@@christopherlafreniere7141 I prefer the tension sticks on this controller. The fly digital controllers feel too stiff compared to any other controllers I've used.
Hey I bought this recently to replace my Vader 4 and was wondering how do the thumbsticks feel in comparison to like a DS Edge or DS4 controller? I find that none of these budget controllers really feel as good as those even though they are definitely way more accurate and was just hoping that the thumbsticks didn’t have that weird wall feeling when it crosses the center.
@@bop-y5w I don't use playstation controllers but the reason it may feel stiffer in the middle is because they have actually good recentering for better accuracy unlike a stock controller. This controller has a way lighter center point than the flydigi controllers and you can use the lower tension joysticks to reduce it even more
Tbh I’ve been in the market for a couple weeks since my Xbox controller has started to show its age (no stick drift just wear and tear). But I’ve been looking and have found numerous amounts of Hall effect being the new fad which makes sense considering my new keyboard is also HE but there’s nothing that looks good in the 200-400 range it’s all mid range controllers which is fine (welcomed even) but not what I expected tbh. I ordered the Vader 4 pro but I’m tempted to cancel and find something more premium but have no idea where to look and landed here but tbh this doesn’t look much better. Maybe the powerA ops3?
I cant recommend any PowerA controller and trust me a controller doesn't need to cost a lot to have good build quality in fact the best controllers I've used are from Chinese brands
@@XepherionNice, they are amazing controllers I just prefer this controller for fps games. The reason being the 2000hz polling rate and the perfect 0 deadzone. For story games I'll go for the apex 4 because I love the haptic triggers in forza, gta, and borderlands.
@Sl0th150 I tried buying 4 different apex 3 controllers, and none of them actually came. I was planning on doing a backplate swap on the vader 4 pro so I could have the rubber grips as I hate the plastic because it makes my hands sweat. I still may work on this project, but it requires soldering, which would be easy. The problem is finding a way to mount the back plate to the rest of the controller. I got way off topic but anyway the one I bought came with a stand but I never got it 😭
no gyro -_- it's not even killing the dualsense. But still nice review! that sure bring this brand to my attention. It's great there's market competition in any case. The replaceable sticks are a great idea.
I hate the colour scheme on this controller, and much prefer the design on the BigBig Won Blitz 2. However, I think the hot swappable joysticks are definitely game changing, and it should be the standard on all pro controllers, especially when you can easily replace them if shit goes wrong. I'm still happy with the Vader 4 Pro, but it's nice to see some real competition.
@n64slayer I really hate white peripherals, they get dirty very quickly and look the absolute worst when stained. Also, it looks out of place on my largely black setup, hence why I've avoided them like the plague.
