Reason for seeing rim on front right tyre sometimes in the video. We had a deep puncture on day 1 evening while negotiating the massive traffic jam entering Udaipur. Hence changed over to spare wheel. As the spare isnt a space saver, we decided to drive on this to Mumbai. The same has been mentioned in the video :-)
😂 early clarification.. make a video on that .. is the spare wheel of same size?
Which model were you driving?
Strong hybrid
Sir also make 1 video of toyota hyrider hybrid
@@shashidharchikkamath5216 bhai thoda socho dimag lagao agar wheel same size ka hota to kya wheel cap ni lagate yhe
Impressive 1436/45= 31.91 per litre. the real range could be more than 33 km per litre better than my Honda Activa 3g.
my activa easily give me 45+ activa 3g
Driving your activa on the same route at 65kmph constant would give you 50+, do not forget that the driving style focussed in this video was to extract the maximum mileage.
@@anuranmallick of course it will, I was just talking about mine ☺️😉
@@realnaeemshaikh I just used as a reference don't take it seriously.
But coming to the hybrid car I believe it will provide the gap between ev and ice . I hope in the future they provide a plugin type which will be enough for City run. Of course on the highway you will get better mileage.
My splendor gives me 70kmph
im from tamilnadu and a big follower of this channel.. always quality content and covers what real life people wants to know about a car.. but u guys are too underrated for what ur doing.... u guys deserve millions💙
Fantastic....!
With the changing times regulations, technology has been a boon. I have always driven diesels as I travel almost 3000 kms monthly. So now this kind of Hybrids are a ray of hope for people like me. But still the total cost of ownership is much higher than the frugal diesels. Lets see if that can come down with more quantities produced.
Impressive task completed but I as a Swift user can say while driving alone the mileage is really good but once I ride with full capacity i.e. 5 persons in all and with a pretty decent luggage, then the mileage drops to 20-22 kmpl. I hope Grand Vitara does really well. And thanks a lot for such a courageous test.
Yeahh my nexon petrol manual moves 950-1000 kms giving a mileage of 22 km/l maintaining the speed of 80-90 with 5 people and a luggage.....and i will probably get 1200 kms in ine tank in city mde ...and in eco mode probably 1400 kms if i drive alone .....seems unrealistic but it's true even with turbo and having a weight similar to the grand vitara even with battery weight and a bigger size.....and ofc the weather in cold a car gives more mileage 10-20% as compared to summers
@@abhinavverma8478 I have been to Kedarnath from Delhi in Nexon(1.2L TurboPet) .With 4 pax(and luggage) it gave a mileage of 12.5 kmpl. With A/C on 1/3rd of the route.
@@sublimefermion2205 on mountains....it drinks fuel like anything but on a straight route it can give a good mileage
Even if grand vitara givs 20+ fully loaded 5people with ac on. Thats owsome mileage .
True brother my Dezire also with 5 people give 20-22kmpl
Amazing👍🏻,Keep it up. This is the new type of interesting stuff which we like to watch on RUclips for cars. Waiting for more videos like this.
on ground report , I am getting 27-32 in city and on highway (80 -110 speed ) with 4 people/ghat roads I got 23.5 for 1100 km run .. the ride was super comfortable and no power lag as reported by many ( remember Electric BHP is different than ICE one) . Got instant acceleration and overtaking was a breeze

Nice one! Grand Vitara indeed performed better than we expected. Good watch, congrats!
Totally agree, strong hybrids are the best solution as of now for India. more companies should try to implement it
Amazing drive..glued to the screen throughout!! Wonderful technology by maruti..wish to see more such videos
Great mileage and great content. Very enjoyable to watch with proper info throughout the video.
Great Video 👌 keep up the good work #91Wheels 👍
So this proves that I was right in convincing my uncle to go for Grand Vitara Zeta+ Hybrid over Nexon EV Max 😊❤️
Extremely impressive. This is what we need.
An unbelievable feat! Superb and congratulations! Suzuki Grand Vitara fully hybrid is the awesome!
Great Video!! You guys come up with such great analysis.
Please do a similar Delhi -> Mumbai mileage comparison between Honda city Hybrid and Grand Vitara Hybrid! It will be great to see which one does better!
Congratulations keep it up best video i have ever seen i cant believe the mileageof 35.7 kmpl good .
This is a very good way to know the capability of the machine we own.
Suzuki knows what a customer actually need..... good mileage, good design, good features, great price and most important reliable service both in brand showroom and in local mechanic can also easily repair their cars
Try taking any strong hybrid to a local mechanic & he will show you how to F__k a car or they will surrender.

Also,we bought it as a secondary car, but it was very reliable and had great ride quality and driving dynamics.ours was a diesel manual,we are very happy with the car it gets great mileage and low maintenance.
But if your planning to buy one as your primary vehicle I would suggest you to rather look towards mini SUVs such as the brezza or the Hyundai venue as they provide much better space and road presence.
Hope This helps. Feel free to ask me anything else.
Amazing work done by 91Wheels !
It’s fantastic but when the vehicle is completely filled and cruise at 90-100 kmph speed it’s impossible what you achieved but really appreciate your patience too 🎉
You are rocking in these mileage marathons.... I remembered that Ford Figo diesel, more than 40kmpl....
I have covered 1145kms Jaipur to Mumbai in my WagonR CNG within 23 hours including a 4 hour sleep break and 5 CNG refill stops

Love these Mileage Marathons. How can I join your team? Have been doing these marathons on bike and car from last 8 years
my fav
As per Google Map distance from Delhi to Mumbai is 1 day 2hr.....and you took 2 full day ....i think this trip was awesome with Money Saving
Yes bro you are rite but if we do even more than 100kmph it might at least deliver 20kmpl and its terrific milage for a mid size petrol suv
Its other way around..
Either cruise at 70kmph sedately.. visit the places on d way and spend two days
Or cruise at 100kmph and complete the trip by one day..
Save time or fuel.. not both
1 day 2hr is equivalent to 26 hrs which is the actual drive time he taken
@@ramprasath4049 yeah because Time is Money. You can't save both

Then if it can give more than 22 kmpl then it will be genuine appreciation for team GRAND VITARA.
Whats that yellow triangle hazard light coming ? is there a fault or something ? do reply.
No Words to comments... Amazing & Brilliant mileage..
I am worried only about NCAP rating for this car since it light weight in the nature i am not sure how this vehicle is going to survey in major crash..
My old Maruti 800 5 Gear MPFI i got 28kmpl with 5 members in car with AC even full luggage in boot.. Unfortunately i have sold that due to space issues.
We cannot have both in best ( More Vehicle Weight and like this Great Mileage ) in any car so far i never heard,
Is the light from sunroof intruding and impacts the cabin temperature and comfort?

Glad you liked it!
Currently our electric vehicle infrastructure is not good. Hybrid cars are more practical than electric cars at least for next 10 years
How is the thin sunroof shield during afternoon drives
Need inputs please
So basically not only was there only one occupancy (highly unlikely for such long drives) but the car was also stripped to its bare essentials to get this range, as can be seen from the fact that steppeny change also had to happen in the workshop, and you were not carrying even the spare.
Prabhav, this was a record under test conditions, not under standard conditions as mentioned by Bunny.
We don't think you saw the full video. If you would have seen, you would know that Bunny mentioned that tyre got a deep cut on day 1 evening and hence had to be replaced with Stepney.
You should mention the test conditions what all changes you guys made to the car so everyone wud get a clear idea
Happy to see this
But i should prefer fully electric car because i don't use car for big route, for bigger route i still prefer to train or aeroplane
Looks like car had a puncture, at 12:52 can see there is stepney tire.
Very Nice video overall, fully enjoyed it. kudos to the whole team :) !!!
Check at 03:49 as well. They probably multiple punctures during the whole run, and that too in the same tire.
Congratulations Man👍👍👍💐💐💐
What was your tank full to tank full calculation?
For those who don't know, renault lodgy did it long before without being a hybrid
Well... that's a Maruti...♥️♥️
Lovely capture, a query though - what is the mileage when the average speed is around 100kph?
How much fuel filled at the time of start ??
Awesome 🔥
in my Opinion Hybrid is better than any EV cars.
Great work guys
Congratulations Bhai 🎉🎉🎉❤
how to get the most fuel economy out of the strong hybrid ? mine gives around 24 in city and highway 20 being strong hybrid its considerably less
Nice but real world mileage with fully packed car will mostly be in 25kmpl range. Assuming a mere 15kmpl from the regular Vitara the fuel costs saved (approx 3.5L INR at 2024 prices) over a lifetime(1.2L kilometers in 6 years) is still not enough to cover the 10 Lakhs INR premium we pay for the strong hybrid 😢😢😢. Need tax cuts back for the strong hybrid for them to make economic sense to the normal buyer. Otherwise only Taxi ppl might buy this strong hybrid 😮
Thanks for the great video. Just curious to know whether the AC was running during the drive? I had recently taken a test ride for about 30 min on Toyota Hyryder, and could get an average of about 25kmpl with AC on......and with AC off, it shot upto 30kmpl. I have trust in the technology & booked about 2 days back. Your comment would help to understand how to achieve 30+ average. Thank you
What an amazing video!
Glad you think so!

Looks like, you had a flat tyre....but good going..excellent
Thanks for all your efforts. What if I drive at the speed of 100KMPH. I am planning to buy this. Please answer the question.
Loving these new 22 minute ads pushed by companies. 10/10
Car speed is below 80km i guess. So long ruote with low speed definitely gona take lots of time. For fuel economy this is required. Good job.
Wow, this is such a practical option, way better than electric. We need to do the transition from hybrid to electric/hydrogen, govt needs to offer gst relief to hybrid as much as electric. Imagine how efficient these cars will become when Maruti Suzuki introduces flex engines in their cars.
Well said!
60-70kmph ki speed se kewal 1 aadmi ke saath kon chalta hai highway par?
What was the grand vitara model could u please explain me
It is not possible to drive at 70 km/hour on highway as co passenger will go berserk.Normally speed will go to 120 130 on very good stretch and 100 on good stretch. The average will therefore reduce accordingly. But one thing is sure.Hybrid is the answer for Indian cars.Go for it.

Very good Punia ji, I want to do this with my Ignis diesel.pls guide and help
The speed you are maintaining, even ciaz diesel will touch 35 easily
I've travelled 350kms on my Kia Seltos GTX 1.4 Turbo Petrol from Satara to Mumbai with a full tank up to the brim. Reached Mumbai and followed the same method to fill up the tank again to check out the milegage and topped up and it drank 15.01 Lts exactly.
MID showed 32.5 kmpl on good stretches but at the end of the trip settled at 27.4kmpl however the calculations showed 23.2 kmpl through tank to tank method which is actually impressive considering a turbo engine + petrol.
Car was mostly cruised at 85-90kmph, occassionally revved upto 160kmph but the mileage still seems to be impressive than what other mostly claims.
