WOW it doesn't get any more custom than that. Smoothing and polishing alone was monumental but the split track looked epic with the axe. Mega big pat on the back dude, you absolutely killed it with that, big thumbs up 👍 👍👍

Thanks mate. I don't know what to say than. Thanks a lot!
I'm brethless... art in its best element due to design and crafting. Handling tools like a god especially pinwelding at that level. Hat off.

Thanks mate. Usually i don't make videos about these kind of builds that i do. These doesn't get much views. But, i tought that i could show that when using right abrasives, on the right way. One can easily get nicely finished surfaces at home too. Like those Roloc discs, price is about the same with flap wheels, but size makes them more versatile. Also those lasts well too, and can be found from grit 36 to 180. + All those fine scotch brite pads.
Outstanding! Now that is my kind of Artwork! Hope she liked it too! Speaking of artwork...those welds are ones that dreams dreams are made of. Didn't know they made roloc for angle grinders...cool beans! Thanks Bud...Spectacular!

Thanks mate. Those rolocs are max 22.000 rpm, that makes them work nicely with a small 125mm grinder too. There's M14 adapters to original M8 pads on the market. I think 5/8" adapter can be found too.
Super vidéo , une hache super bien réalisée, on pourrais presque croire qu'elle a servie à couper le rail de chemin de fer. Très belle réalisation ,Bravo👍👏
That is an insanely cool creation! 👌🏽 Amazing eye for detail, mate, superbly done. 👍🏽

Thanks Bill. This is something that i have been thinking about the past summer. Now when days are dark, making it started to be reasonable. Also, today is my wife's birthday. She was pleased about this gift. 🙂 That made me really happy. ❤️
Mind blowing 👍 All your work are master piece. You are master in stick welding. Please make an exclusive video tutorial on that. Like selection of the size of welding rod, current setting and everything else. 👍👍👍👍
I do really appreciate what you make in your videos. Hard work and results are real masterpieces but why you r not using TIG welders. I know it is very hard to do the Metal Arch welding I use to be a welder long time ago.
3 года назад+1
I use tig when its reasonable. Stick and Mig are faster / cheaper methods in most cases. I use tig with thinner materials. Here Argon is little pricey so making longer welds with tig costs much more. Because i make things just for fun, i don't earn money about it. Then its better to use cheaper ways to work and save money / time. 🙂
Beautiful!!! A big part of me wanted you to try to cut some small pieces of wood with that stainless sheet metal "Axe" lol i think it would cut wood if sharpened good lol maybe a future video Build and test ??? Please!?!?? Lol have a Great day Mate.
3 года назад+1
Thanks. I actually was thinking the same. Blade section could be made from W.Nr 1.1750 stainless. Then it could be hardened to 55-60 hrc. That would be hard enough. 🤔
@ Oh i think it would be plenty hard enough. You know they say "Great minds think alike" lol must be true haha. Hopefully down the road when you arent to busy you'll get some free time and be able to test it. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍 Hope you have a Very Merry Christmas! And a Happy New Years! Happy Holidays to Everyone!🎁🎄🎁🎊🎉🍗🍴🌲⛄❄⛄

@@daviddaddy Same to you mate. I thought i could make a video about making that kind of axe, after holidays. I have been somewhat busy lately, many things needs to be done / finish before christmas.
@ Thank you very much. Whenever you can Bro, Enjoy your Holiday, have fun with Family and Friends. They always come first. We can always wait. I have incredible patience lol haha Take care.
Did you rob a train yard recently? lol Wife asks for a lantern, (probably means a pole with a hook) Husband with grinder says, lets build impossible art instead. Brilliant work. You didn't make those obelisks in utah, the netherlands etc did you?
3 года назад
Lol. Thanks. Yep, my wife asked something like that. 🙂 I didn't make those monoliths in Utah or Netherland... But, couple days ago.. there was one found from Finland too. 😲
По первому ролику думал ерундой мается - зачем рельс разрезал. Теперь понял. Класс!

Thanks. I thougth that's its better to share that video first, to show that it doesn't take that long at all. Also, i am making hydraulic bending brake, when i split the track for the lower dies. I save material, also structure of the die comes lower, but is still strong. ( finding track pieces is little hard sometimes )
That's extremely good looking piece of art!
Thanks a lot mate!
Would have never guessed that wasn't a real axe head! Looks great!
Thanks buddy! Nice to hear that!
The real metalman candle holder! Thats Awesom! 🪓💪🏻🎅🏻🤘🏻
Thanks buddy! 😁
I Will write just one word in spanish: Maestro!
❤️

Wow! Very nice job!
Not enough sign welcome)
Thanks! At the summer time, lantern will be replaced with a sign with our house number and welcome text. 🙂
@ that a good idea)
That is so incredible cool!!!! Nice work!

Brilliant work!
Great video, idea, and build, thank you! It looks awesome!
Thanks mate!
I think your cat should get credit for helping.
I saw his or her brief cameo.
For the love of God can someone who makes plasma cutters not sponsor this guy, this is art, still the best stick welder on yt 👍👍
No worries. With these kind of builds, plasma would be somewhat useless. I don't have any need for it. 🙂
That is an insanely cool creation! 👌🏽

WOW. As usual Toumas, a work of Art. A lot of hard work with a great result. Merry Christmas.
Thanks Peter. Merry Christmas to you too! ( I think i will upload one more video before Christmas, so i hope to see you then too. 🙂 )

@
You know what they say happy wife happy life lol .
Класс !!! Отлично получилось !!!Мастер!!!
Hitto miten makee. Tätä taidetta mäkin ymmärrän.
Kiitti. Tämmöisiä olisi kiva tehdä, mutta harvemmin näitä sitten " suuri yleisö" katsoo.. 🤔 No, omaksi iloksihan näitä videoita tehdään. 🙂
Exquisite ... why NOT metal veneer?!?
It doesn't last long enough in outsides. It starts to peel. Stainless 316L lasts " forever "
Hi,
Very good video, I love the idea of painting it with a rust effect so the when it actually rusts it look the same...
Take care
Paul,,
Thanks. 🤗
WHAT THE HELL This is so cool and creative
Thank you very much!
Very cool
Thanks. I made a smaller version for to be used as a knife stand too, using the same method: instagram.com/p/CUw9dTZDaT7/?
