    Not only is it disturbing that someone would “snap like that,” it’s also VERY disturbing that someone with his litany of past violent criminal offenses has been released time after time after time and when in court wasn’t cuffed nor shackled. And where was security? The judges court clerk was the first to respond. - he needs a raise.

      He was in court for battery, with a history of violent behavior. He wasn’t some gentle guy who just snapped, he’s clearly a violent individual.

      You obviously don’t know how jails and meds work. Yes, he does have a history of violence as do a lot of ppl with severe mental illness. Hence, the prescribing of meds to quell violent outbursts such as this. What most people don’t know is that you don’t just get your normal meds as soon as you go to jail. There is a process which can sometimes take over a week. I work in an inpatient facility for addicts seeking recovery and it often takes over a week for patients to get their meds bc the facility doctor has more than one facility they prescribe for. And each facility has multiple residents to treat and only one doctor for all of this.
      In jail this process can take even longer due to the enormous population and the fact that the inmate often can’t communicate effectively. It’s very possible, if not probable, that he’s not being medically treated effectively.

    I've seen so many leaps at judges and with both parties at each other, but I think this one takes the cake. The guy leaped *over* the table and divebombed her. I suppose the way she worded the sentencing was unnerving, but that body slam is a big no. He was probably gonna get like a year, but he's gonna get more for sure.

      He’s not psycho, no judge should be talking that way to anyone. It was unprofessional and biased the way she said what she said , which is what triggered him. That judge should face disciplinary for that. But nobody cares.

      They’ll likely just force him into a wheelchair, strapped down - or just declare the sentence with him absent or tuning in via video feed. Not like his presence would affect the judgement further other than making it worse 😅
      It should also be reiterated that it’s not like he’s just walking free and refusing to go to court, he’s in jail down the hall from the courtroom. He’s just refusing to willingly walk down that hall himself 😅

    Its so weird: my younger cousin was just telling me a story about a judge being jumped, failing to say it was a judge in a game of soccer, and I told him "That could never happen, they got a lot of security and restrictive space between judge and citizens." A scene like this played in my mind as being something close to impossible while I explained. I have never heard of this happening before. It was two days ago or something since we talked about it. Guess I was wrong, my bad.
