This type of psychiatry makes sense and is moral. What has been practiced up until now borders on criminal. Psychiatrist sees you for 20 minutes and keeps loading meds and pushing doses until you're shot. I'm a pharmacist I know what I'm saying. I am happy for the people who have been helped by the old school way of med and more meds. But there's alot of us who are just screwed. The lady who spoke with her son that has cerebral palsy really resonated. On my days off I stare at the TV barely eat. Stay in bed until the last minute before work and my life has been ruined by trauma resulting depression insane anxiety so at 59 yrs old with no support system or family , people like us need help first and fast. We dont have time to wait for the fda to screw around and then be charged an amount of money that is out of touch
My son tried TMS. It made profound changes for him. He was 19, and in three weeks had gotten dramatically better. I wish it were not out of reach for most people. It is a pricey treatment.

This is good. Too late, or out of reach for most of us, though. I've already survived fifty years of depression and learned how to get through the lows.

@andrew jiminez you took the words right out of my mouth. I have the exact same wish for my mom too. A good 30 + years of depression now has my mom existing in a chair 24/7, only getting up to use the bathroom. It’s the worst feeling ever to want to help your mom so badly but dont know where to find it and then when we hear about this potentially life changing treatment of tms, it ends up costing more than we can afford.
Andrew, try to manifest the money for her treatment. Right the amount of the treatment on a lanc sheet of paper, Write big, put the paper on your feet, bend your knees to get closer, then start going upward looking at the paper with the amount over your feet and as you move upward looking at the amount you repeat to ourself "small, small, small, small" until you are completely standing. While going upward you point at the paper while you say the "small" repeatedly. Do this practice as many times as you can preferably right after you wake up in the morning and/or before bedtime.
