  • One in six people in the United States suffer from a mood or anxiety disorder, yet current treatments fail many. Join Dr. Williams for a discussion of SAINT, the revolutionary neuromodulation therapy developed at Stanford that led to remission in 80% of clinical trial patients with severe depression within days. He will also share an inside look at Stanford's new Experimental Therapeutics Hub, where physician-scientists are expanding avenues of research into non-traditional therapies, including the use of psychedelics and novel drug treatments to tackle the most pervasive disorders of the brain, and to bring relief to the millions of people suffering from life-threatening and life-limiting mental health issues. Moderated by Lisa Gauthier, Stanford Medicine Community Council Member.
