1:41 got me laughing so hard, “She realised that she lost HER BANANA”
Mr. Queen is one of my absolute favourites.
Creative storyline.great acting.
King and queen's friendship was adorable.
Honestly this recap is like if a studio asked someone to cut a 20+ hour series into 12 minutes but still make it make sense. Tons of the actual story that makes this show great had been completely skipped. Bong does not go back to the present after refilling the lake.
Great story, shitty ending. Thanks for the recap, another series to be black listed.
Imagine the archeologist seeing a painting about the queen eating a big mac
Yes
💀
This recap only focused on food. The main plot is about power struggle in the palace, which echoed with Bong's current situation. Highly recommend to watch this series
i actually watched mr queen because of this video and oh my god thank you so much for not talking about the rest of the plot. it was genuinely such an amazing kdrama. i watched it for the mcdonald’s scene but got hooked because of the actual plot and was so sad at the end when he returned to his own body. great video and great drama. 100% recommend
please don't give any spoiler. I'm on episode 15 today
This summary doesn’t do this show justice! I highly recommend watching it
I just love how Mystery Recap explains movies
MrQueen sounds like the homosexual version of MrBeast.
@@garethmurray5901 or mcqueen
@@garethmurray5901 would watch that
@@garethmurray5901 no it's not lol 🤣 It's not so simple bl story
This particular recap wasn't the best - it skipped a lot of important parts
watching as he returns to his original male body and still cared for the king, just shows how they're so emotionally attached
read a bunch of webnovels in that genre 😏 wouldnt say they are bad 😁
One of the best comedy kdrama and one of my favourites. The story, acting, chemistry between two main leads are just great 👍🔥 Sadly it's more underrated by Koreans themselves but totally loved by foreigners all over the world. I didn't regret watching it
He doesn’t wake up when he jumped back into the water. He wakes up when SHE sort of completed a queen’s mission and was on the edge of dying. The mission was she helped the King to push his dream policies and set up milestones of changes from monarchy to democracy! I really love this part of the storyline. Respect to this drama, and all the characters/actors in it.❤
I am not a fan of historical drama, but this one is a top notch. Love the acting, the humor, the cinematography and everything about in this drama. Kim Hye Sun is such a great actress.
I finished this and watch the recap because I'm curious how can you recap it in a short amount of time
Turns out you only told the 1/10 of the story but still made it seem like a complete storyline.
Everyone, I highly recommend it
I swear you won't regret it
Very true lol-
Yes! So much was left out!!! I Recommend this drama for anyone out there!!! This drama was 10/10 ✨🤌

Does it have English dub or only English subs?
Can you recommend some of the best Korean series aside of this one?
They’re needs to be a sequel that shows how the actual queen exposes the political figure
As a Chinese I enjoyed this movie by our Korean brothers. So creative ❤
When he said Mc donaldu 😂😂😂😂😂8:44
Lol 😂😂😂😂 I have a bad connection here
Lol 😂😂😂 and connection cut off when he finished saying "this when bong realize that she had lost her banana 🍌 😂😂😂
Am laughing so hard right now
1:35 😂😂😂
Their is so much missing from this review. Just have to say that this drama is worth watching. It is funny and eye catcher. A story from hate to love and all the in-between. Mr. Queen is amazingly beautiful and is my go to at anytime.
It aint a review,it's a recap. Hence, the lack of detail.
“Bong realizes she has lost her banana”💀💀💀
Mr. Queen is TOTALLY worth watching. It's hilarious. I've rewatched the whole series multiple times.
😂 She has lost her ‘banana’ literally made me LOL
I loved the entire show except the final ending. The chemistry will never be the same between the royal couple
It was shown she wasn't the same old Princess. Her consciousness adapted lots of Bong's attitudes..
@@jesicaerich619ok but why does it need to be the case? The personality king fell in love was Bong’s personality. Why can’t Bong just forget their life in modern day and merge with the Queen’s soul
Bro when bong knows what she just lost her banana that was killing me I was laughing so hard 😂
8:35 _that fast food was born*
thus
8:51 That burger looks sooo good. Is that an actual menu in McDonald?
potentially in korea, all fast food restaurants in other countries are different in their own ways but always have other foods you haven’t seen before.
There is something similar to that here in my country xD however its only available as a breakfast menu,do you know the mcmuffin with egg?
♥maybe! ♡💕 I do recaps too if you're interested !
“He dropped his damn spoon” and “she had lost her banana” made me burst out laughing
I have watched this series twice now. It's so good! And there is so much more to the story. It's a long series but hilarious and interesting. Smart writing.
“Meals are always better with Bong”
That’s what you call munchies.
Bad and annoying joke.
My absolute favorite drama! It was hilarious and even the side characters were likable! Maybe just a little disjointed when it came to the plot and the ending was lackluster, but it was so entertaining!!
THIS IS WORTH THE WATCH I PROMISE YOU !! Been rewatching it for the fourth time already
Wow. This show looks very high quality. I might just watch the whole thing myself
Kudos to editor and writer for making this😂
You can literally make some random dude from 1850 unconscious by giving them a taste of a BBQ Chip
One Dorito has more explosive nacho flavor than an 18th century peasant would have ever tasted in their entire lifetime
2:20 ngl
the guards got drip 😎
One of my favourite recaps, instead of rewatching a movie I rewatch this recap lmao
The message is powerful. I initially thought it was a ridiculous idea, but maybe I'll watch this soon. Thanks so much for this. Love both the lead actor and the actress.
i love Korean historical dramas but i couldn't finish this particular show due to its exaggerating comedy despite the hype the show has. your short summary is perfect for me to get to know the whole story, thank u!
i really recommend you finish it!!! so much more happened than what was shown in this video and bong didn’t travel back to the future that easily
@@iheartpo I don't think understanding more of the plot is for me, for starters I already couldn't get myself past the second episode😂 i tend to have issues finishing full blown comedy dramas like hospital playlist, love in the moonlight, etc.😅
I agree I like the male lead and female lead combo characters , but I'm not a fan of this kind of comedy. I couldn't get through the first or second episode so I'm glad to see this recap.
@@berrratata i understand everyone likes different things the comedy is what made me stay
@@pershop4950 but it's not only comedy. It's more interesting story full of intrigues and not only about cooking. For example, the King is not who he seems at the very beginning, he's quite mysterious and complicated figure
I actually repeated it for 5 times coz it's so good 😅😂 and still counting ... I'll never get tired of this series. If you have anxiety or depression, it'll make you less sad. I swear. Every episode until the end is so funny 🤣
Where did you watch this? Share the link pls
@Oren Black mr queen
8:56 her voice is heavenly 😮
one of the best kdrama I've watched! shinhyesun's acting skills never disappoints me
This is one of those serials that doesn't enough to be watched by recap only. I hadn't laughed so much in a long time, each episode is perfection. 🤣
This is my favourite kdrama ever....never bored of any episode...brilliant acting by the actors...unique story....
I want to say this recap is misleading, but technically it's not. However, they are leaving out a lot of plot points that makes this drama more than just a comedy. I'd like to think they summarized the story this way for brevity. But IDK. I'm side-eyeing this one.
Understable
true though
What a hilarious movie. That actress makes great expressions and has great timing
That actress is great 👍 And not only in comedy
Imagine this was a Mongolian drama and Bong travelled back in time to cook Mac Donald's burgers for Genghis Khan and his court. 😂
Mr. Queen is the best series I have ever watched lmao. Glad you did a recap of the Mr Queen!!
The "Mac Donaldu" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is an amazing drama, and its more amazing how you told this without telling so many things and not spoiling it!
You were tricky at the last part
But not bad though 😂
Mr. Queen is actually one of my fav kdramas. I like that mystery recapped tale of nokdu, woo young woo and soo on. Can’t wait to see goblin or crash landing on you 😊
One of the finest drama I have seen.I saw it a while ago till, now I haven't been able to find a drama like this comedy, acting, script everything is 10/10.Please somebody give suggestion about other dramas in this genre?
as soon as i saw him make the potato spring on a stick it reminded me soooo much of my childhood cause all the time i would go to a shop that serves these potato spring roll i would buy them and they are sooo good, salty, crunchy, delicious and juicy.

Your work is underrated. Thanks to you, i ended up watching this series. It was worth it.
I have never heard of this movie and watched this, and you did a great job, I got the gist of it. I'm from India, and while Bollywood has its plus points, it's always a love story. I wish Bollywood would explore more creative options like this fun story here. Especially historical. I used to watch a historical Korean drama I don't even remember the name of long ago, but that was good too.
It's not movie it's tv series with 20 episodes
@@mikcnmvedmsfonoteka thanks
This is just recap to get you interested. He's just covered 1/10 of the drama. The real story plot is actually about the king and the Queen's family fighting for power. It's an All In 1 drama showcasing grief, murder, action, sadness, happiness, politics, comedy and about how much nobels were hungry for power back then. Please do watch it. I'm sure you won't regret it✨♥️
Btw I'm also from India
@@asahiyawh Cool. Thanks for the info
I agree with the bollywood movies, that's why people have shifted to seeing south Indian movies as it isn't a typical love story and instead different genres of movies.
05:40 it has turned into an episode of Iron Chief.
