I hate creating big meals with multiple dishes that when you're making one, the other gets cold. Or just during the course of eating the meal gets cold. This product does a great job solving the problem! This mat is very spacious. The silicone feels nice and creates a nice grip that prevents things from sliding. Very easy to clean. One tip is to a use a lid to keep food universally warm. Great product for the price.

I recently took a weekend getaway . On the morning of our trip, I packed all the pre-cooked dishes from our fridge, including egg casserole, bacon, and hash browns, and simply placed them on the warming tray set to high heat. When we sat down to eat, the food was still at room temperature, so all we had to do was warm it up in the microwave for a minute or so, since the dense casserole needed a bit of extra time.

I was concerned this warming mat might be too small since many of the pictures seem to show pics of food superimposed on the mat, not actual pictures of the food and the mat together, so for all I knew, the full chicken might be a cornish hen. But no, the mat is of good size and holds several dishes easily. I have granite counters, and while the underside gets fairly warm, I have no concerns that it will damage the counter. I recently used this at a party and it kept dishes warm but not piping hot for several hours. This worked better than a series of crock pots for this purpose, since guests could see the food without having to lift a lid. No real assembly required and the cleaned up easily. I like that it rolls up for storage.
