Thanks for watching
Aaron - Your robot-like weld beads are beautiful, as I have come to expect from you. But I think I'm even more impressed with your quick, yet accurate methods of holding a lot of fiddly little bits with enough precision to get all the gaps tight and uniform, which is key for getting those world-class beads.
Couldn't agree more, the first tack welds are the most difficult and most important.
Here especially difficult since the parts are triangles, with pointy corners.
It's annoying how easy it looks 😎
Reading this comment in ron covell voice makes it even more satisfying and true
....I think he is a robot.....( wonder if he's related to Buckethead?)
High Praise indeed, coming from the Great Ron Covell! I’m curious how many years the welder has under his belt. I’m an old retired welder, and am impressed!
@@brentmollenhauer47 the bucket head of welders.
Its so peaceful and satisfying. Watching this literally makes me breathe easier.
Your rhythm and filler feeds are insanely consistent.. Thanks for sharing.
You should get ready to weld up that 500K Sign. Great work as always!
Looks as nice as I envisioned Aaron.
That pinky finger in the air on your torch hand is particularly stylish, mate. :)
Agree. 👍 using the goniometer and making the cradle jig was perfect. Great demonstration!
@ 5:45 .... Thats some of that "high class TIG welder moves" ...🤣🤣
Beautiful job on that, Aaron. Your skill at stacking dimes is just amazing.
You, sir, are a welding wizard.
Have you ever considered a thermal camera or something of the sorts? It'd be cool to see how hot a part gets doing one weld after another like this one🤷♂️
Aluminium would just reflects the IR of a thermal camera ... It would act as a weirdly shaped mirror for thermal camera.
You will need a contact thermometer
@@InformatrIIcks He could paint it black first and skip the paint where it will be welded.
About 500 or so F if constantly welding
The consistency of your welds is incredible man, awesome job!
Sweet ashtray man👍
Reminds me of the "Jupiter 2" from the "Lost in Space" TV series from when i was a kid. Danger! Danger! Will Robinson!! That UFO looking thing is cool!
Your consistency is like clock work. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
“Pinky arc guard “!😂 I thought you were just being bougie!😆
Am I #1? Hell yeah! Love the channel man. I binge watch your content when I’m not able to be in the shop. Keep up the excellent work brother!
your video's are the reason i started welding. DIMES, BABY, DIMES. just about a year since i quit my golf club job for 2 weeks of classes and got hired full time in stainless fab/weld. what settings did you run for this video?
Would love to see a truck tour of your mobile shop. What are the specs on the Mack?
I call it an international gentleman's welding rule - welding with a pinky up =)
ARRON…… where is your tig button! Another great video!!
This is what dreams are made of
the result is so beautiful.. 🙏
great videos. I'm always learning from your wonderful videos. Could you help me, please ? to weld a 1.2mm sheet in the aluminum material what would be the correct measure of the aluminum addition rod to make a beautiful apparent weld?
You make Tig welding look so easy. I wish I had half your skill.
Just keep practicing and you’ll get there. Aaron didn’t start out like this. I always tell people that at one point, the best TIG welders sucked. You got this.
I have to ask as I’m still trying to figure out the intricacies of this. The welds are beautiful but I don’t see a scratch of penetration on to the back side of those welds.
Sure this is a just decorative piece but surely it’s compromised if it was to be of any other purpose?
Hi Jason,
It's not a simple answer... I'll make a video on it. It depends on the forces applied on the weld joint, the direction of the forces, will there be heat cycling and vibration (engine parts),etc...
This is a planter for a friend. If it holds water, it's strong enough. Aesthetics are what mattered on this piece. Nice pretty, consistent, shiny welds.
The welds penetrate about halfway through. Plenty strong for what it is. Less heat, less distortion.
"compromised" is a poor word choice.
skills are godlike.. fantastic work
Practice, patience and skill in full display here
When you tacked your fixture to what I thought was a steel table 🤯
Very clean start and stops. I wish mine were that nice. I wonder if that thing could hold water.
Worked with a dude that was able to Tig a soda can back together. Never saw anything like it before.
Awesome job! The seams look like done by a welding robot! 👍🏻
Beautiful welds.
Great lesson in patience! Thank you 🙏
TIP TOP Frank👌
Oh, you know, Ron Covell stops by to compliment your welding and fabrication… 🤯
He’s correct.
Nicely done!
Sweet flower pot!
beautiful work thank you for sharing
That's awesome.. Any chance of making one of you're tig button for a unimig welder in Australia? It's very impressive..
Aaron is the Stig of Tig.
I have nothing but respect. I can do that about one in five of those. The other four will have one bead too big or too small. I can't even buy new material that nice anywhere around here. All aluminum materials come brand new pre scratched and dinged. I wish you listed all the piramitures of the welder settings, wire used, tungsten used, etc after every video.
what the HECK? This is incredible, I don't know a thing about it.
LOOKS AMAZING!
Tack first ask questions later.
Never afraid to change it up.
🍻🇨🇦👨🏭
There are probably a bunch of mathematicians who are annoyed the kit isn't a platonic solid. The welds look incredible, though.
That's pretty awesome
Just curious, what's the flooring in your shop? Didn't look like concrete.
Semi truck
Gorgeous
Bloody good show!
Wow that's beautiful
Respect. Good luck
Spectacular job bro 🍻
First-?! Incredible work; you are a machine!
It's it possible, with different techniques, to vary the size of the welds?
Você é um excelente profissional 😊 um dia quero soldar na tig assim parabéns !!!
Very nice welds. True craftsman!
New gloves. Interesting.
Where can I get an angle finding tool like that at 2:18?
hello. Please tell me how to properly weld the blanks at the tops?
Test my welder! Only 150A with 110V supply makes starting that puddle on aluminium a lil slow.
Foot pedal this time?
I'd like to learn to tig weld to make a BBQ (in aluminum to be lightweight) but I don't know if it is the best way to do it and if so where can I find something to learn, can you help?
You are the best
I need to learn how to weld like this
how is welding out of the semi working out?
What are your frequency and balance settings..lol
The best ever
Pure awesomeness!!!
I like your skill
Great welds
Impressive.
Would make a neat looking air filter for a rat rod...
CHALLENGE: now weld the Inside 😁
Not gonna say it’s impossible, but it’ll be pretty hard to get filled rod in there and get a uniform bead. Definitely a CHALLENGE
Top Notch!!
Perfection....
Brilliant work!
Where can I get one of those pinky arc guards ? 🤣
Sensational... Love it
Night pot?
Yeah! Jigs for geometry welding are great!... Unless they're 2 ° off...
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Setting welding???
So close to being a soccer ball!
Ah new gloves!
Super...Brawoooooo !!!
Beadelicious!
Bet a lot of time was spent cooling this piece off, what say Arrow?🤗😎🤗😎Thanks for the video!
I ask again. When will you take an apprentice.
And pour the kerosene in?
120 and 75??
Pinky arc shield 🤣👍
Nice
now flip it like a sock so all the welds are on the inside and it would look much better
make a closed on and hook a pressure washer to it - > hydoform a ball
Settings?
All welder settings are explained in detail on the website
Show us welds like that on the inside now!😂
If I had half his skill I'd be a thousand times better than what I am now.
Keep practicing you’ll get their
I bought a sling shot
🙏
