    Stravinsky actually wrote a very interesting tango. I'm working on learning it now.

    Copy this (without quotations) in your search engine: "IMSLP satie sports et divertissements" and it should take you to the IMSLP website. There you will be able to download the sheet music in a PDF format.

    It is "Le tango perpétuel", not "Le Tango prepétual." I am a native French speaker, btw.
    Great videos anyway!

      @mojeo522 4 года назад +2

      I don't know what type of french you speak but in the original handwriting it cleary says "perpétuel". Not only that 'perpetual' in every single other language in the world is writen with the 'r' after the 'e'.

      @@mojeo522 Je ne parlais pas de la graphie de l'écriture manuscrite, qui a clairement été écrite par Satie, et qui est correcte. Je parlais plutôt de la mauvaise graphie dans le titre de la vidéo, qui est sans doute victime d'une faute de frappe de la part de l'éditeur.

    Written in May 1914 in the days leading to the end of La Belle Époque. How poignant.

      All the sections without sharps are in Locrian. I think the first phrase is B Ionian, then B Aeolian, the other sharped sections I see as being pretty free tonally.

      You have to take a look
      on what he wrote in place
      where normaly composers
      put some instructions.
      (it's French)
      It's a well known
      Sati's joke.
      It's a critic about
      People's way of living,
      by an ...expert ...
