If it's true that the aircraft was found with medical equipment and probably supplies, it would make sense that they were on a return trip back to Berlin. This leads one to conclude that if they had faired personnel out of Germany, any valuables would have also made it out of the country. Any valuables would have been in the pockets of the pilots and crew. So I seriously doubt that any treasure might still lay around the area of the crash.
