I’m guessing the caliper is ceasing or the shims and runners on the caliper carrier need cleaning (as well as a new disc and pads). Great vid as always Hamza!
Surprisingly darkside developments run their wicked quick mk5 golf race car with the solid rear discs, think they said it was the brake bias they preferred despite not ideal for cooling. If its good enough for them though!
@@jonclark25 the difference is though, that’s a full time race car. DSD will probably throw new discs and track spec pads on it all the time. @@ShalomBrother Mine runs the small rear solid disc no problem and does a number of track days as well as normal road duties. I run a very aggressive front pad with brake ducting, the rear is a simple solid brembo disc with a cheap fast road pad. Car is currently at full weight as well. Also, would hope TR goes on track with good resources like uprated pads at least, will be a boring day of cooling the brakes off all the time otherwise... Its insufficient cooling, but not a major issue as the bias is geared so much towards the front. Yes my bro man like TR HAMZA back with another banger but a rather interesting video regarding all ur cars man and the Golf GTI and making AK47 shots going off tbh I love the pops n bangs bro think it's fun but wouldn't have it overly loud but just to enough to enjoy while your driving along and you let off the Throttle 😍 Keep up the great work bro ❤
cant wait to see a video of a trackday with this car, as im prepping for my own later in october,, really enjoying this little car build youre doing man.
We all get too excited about numbers. Most roads don’t allow you to use full potential it’s all about the fun factor. I run a stage 1 S3 8P in Australia and it’s great in the cooler months but the hot humid summers here make the car struggle so not much point having too much power as it just gets wasted. Track days are the best way to use what you have and are becoming more popular.
The pistons on both my mk7 rear calipers were seized at 6 years old and 41k miles. Water had got in behind the piston rubber boots and rusted them solid. Pretty poor for the age and mileage.
Try install the new GTX45 turbo, manual turbo clutches overhear , any car, don’t last ! Have to get button clutch which you can drive in bumper to bumper traffic
Just the man Hamza, exhaust has gone from the back to the second box and need to replace up to the first bracket, which is better to go scorpion or militek for sound and will it pass mot ok.

We have the feeling this one is upgraded, as in theory it shouldn’t be handling the current power/torque with the abuse it’s been getting. Only slips when you do continuous standing starts. But will get it changed soon for a stronger one regardless.
