Hello Sir, Can the KZ AZ20 APTX be used for planar earphones???
I got the AZ20 primarily to try and drive my KZ PR1 Pros because the AZ09 Pro couldn't do it. AZ20 did drive my PR1 Pros well, but the battery was drained within 3-3.5 hours. I don't consider that to be enough play time.
Depends on the planar. The MP145 works with the AZ09 Pro (modded to B-pin) perfectly well. The S12 likes the AZ09 Pro in POWER mode, which drops battery life (by -15%). The PR1 HiFi demands even more power, which is why they collect dust. Basically, for the PR1's I have to go wired with either a dongle or the BTR5; wired is a pain after having become used to the comfort and convenience of these earhooks. Lately, I use my few sets of AZ09 Pro's with MP145, T3+, S12, and HEXA.
