@@williamhartman3599 I see what you're saying. I think many people don't believe he was fully honest and repentant about his criminal acts. But I don't know.
I remember reading about this maybe a month ago. I always wondered what happened. Agree he never should have had that pulpit! Prayers for all victims/survivors. I am 57 yrs old and it took me to the age of 55 to forgive. But it has helped me move forward. Prayers for everyone.

WHAT A TERRIBLE THING THAT WE ARE HEARI G AND DEALING WITH. MANY PEOPLE ARE STATING THEIR OPINIONS. LET US REMEMBER WHILE WE ALL HAVE OPINIONS, WE ARE NOT HIS JUDGE! LET THE COURTS AND GOD HANDLE THE SITUATION. Our duty is to forgive (so our sins are forgiven).
@@joannpounders4811 I would be more inclined to forgive someone who actually owned up to what they did. What I mean by this is he intentionally used language not to draw attention to the fact that he committed a crime with a child. His language tried to make it seem like it was an affair between consenting adults. So maybe people would be more inclined to forgive if Morris were to admit to the nature of what he actually did.
We're All About People has become more about pedophiles. This is horrible and inexcusable.

I didn't know that Tony Evans stepped down. I almost got hired by the school there (I turned down the job. It's a good school but I teach on a collegiate level and they wanted me for elementary/middle school levels).

Yes, that is true. However, this man should have never been a pastor. I haven't looked into this, but apparently there were some theological/doctrinal concerns with him as well.

I think his son has taken over senior pastoral duties. This is from what I could tell on the website.
It’s all about the cash flow in all these ministries… put the children in like a flippin dynasty!
I would have preferred a non-family member take over for now. But, it's not my call. So we'll see how this plays out.

Why is everyone letting him resign?! He should be fired, thrown out, dismissed, or whatever technical term is appropriate for him being kicked out.
I think it’s just legal maneuvering. Many times people are offered the opportunity to resign from something in lieu of being fired or forced to leave. It’s a thing.

What business of yours to find out Tony Evans sin. He probably heard God's voice to step down or he'll be exposed 💯 Obey is better than sacrife💯 get your own affairs and house in order, instead of trying to find out about this pastor. Church folks with their self righteous behaviors💯💯💯
Dr. Evans has already confessed that he stepped down due to a sin from a few years ago. He did not specify the sin. I have already addressed that story in another video. Feel free to watch that one to hear me tell others not to speculate on what it was.
On the other hand, we know exactly what Robert Morris did.
