I sent an email to capcom on how they can do the collection for megaman legends. They include the three games. And notice how every collection has a bonus thing. Well in this case they can include the playable demo for megaman legends 3 that was never released. That way we can get some idea of how the game would be and depending on sales. They can finally make megaman legends 3
i can assure you wholeheartedly that there will never be another rockman dash game ever again. capcom has decided streetfighter is their main cow, now. It's best to look for spiritual successors.
Knowing Capcom , they're probably working on re releasing the StarForce and legends legacy collections. First of course are there current ones scheduled. Loved Xtreme games but very frustrating along with Network Transmission from GameCube . Still I love capcoms efforts on archiving their past catalog unlike other companies *cough cough* Sega staff
Megaman Legends had 4 games in total an a slew of servbot themed mini games released back in the day. Worldwide we only got two, but a legacy colection would be a perfect oportunity to bring this content we never got with updated controls and maybe some visual changes.
You started talking about missing Battle Network games and I jumped from Operate Shooting Star to 4.5 Real Operation to Battle Chip Challenge. I didn't consider Network Transmission. I sincerely doubt they'd choose a whole Gamecube game over any of the ones I mentioned. I'd honestly rather see them do a remake of Phantom of Network or Legend of Network.
I’ve been collecting Megaman games for awhile now, granted I do not have all of them, I’d say I’ve got a fair share out of the hundred or so games available, and I’d say that bring the other missing games that are essential would definitely bring even more newcomers and returning fans back to the games we love. I’ve never played the SNES version of Megaman and Bass, I instead had to play the GBA version which I felt was extremely difficult, I managed to get to King’s final form and could never get past it, I never legitimately beat the game. I’m hoping that we get a means to play all Legends games and possibly the Starforce series soon, or even better a new game entirely. We just have to be patient because that’s what we are good at.
Mega Man games I've always wanted to play are Mega Man Xtreme 2, Mega Man & Base 1 and 2, Mega Man The Willy Wars, and The Misadventures of Tron Bonne. And I'd like to be able to play Mega Man Soccer again.
Legends always getting the short end of the stick. Not only does it not have a legacy collection, it’s the only Mega Man series that didn’t get the sound box treatment. Even Starforce got that much.
I remember importing the mahaman legends psp collection, even try to make a transition patch as part on my college course. It was nice having widescreen run on a buddy's modded PS3. Ran ok but I didn't ever get passed about an hour in to the game as far as translating it. Lurned to respect the amount of work translation projects put into they're work.
The two main reasons for bad controls for Mega Man Legends is because the game engine was made for a 2d grid game and it was made for a controller that only had a d-pad. Do to the grid game engine is way the infamous lock-on camera wigging out because you were right on the grid line and the engine didn't know what to do.
7:13 Here is the pitch. Call it "Rockman Gems collection". Megaman Legends series, Starforce, The X-treme games, Platformer based Rockman Exe games ( Wonderswan included ), Rockman Challenger from the Future + Rockman and Forte ( include the SNES and GBA as a bonus ), along side Rockman World series. It would be appealing for any Megaman fan. 12:00 No we didn't get the Wily Wars. T_T That re-release is DISQUALIFIED for 1. Got a PC? 2. Or non-Nintendo console 3. It's eternally rented... Nintendo switch online has consistently been off-putting due to " Why do I need to pay for online features or B. What does this offer that my emulators don't? ". I hate being that one guy, but the fact I can't buy any old retro game out-right on the Nintendo Switch service makes me want to mod a switch, shove an emulator, then play it that makes me sick. Only pirating out of spite by that point.... If it was like the Wii-Wii U era with buying the roms, I would jump for joy and have a reason to pay full price for the games as. I think subscription services are evil.
The safest bet we would have for getting Bass, and the Xtreme games is switch online. But unfortunately for Mega Man & Bass it's going to be the GBA version.
I say this because all of these games were on Wii U and 3DS virtual console which has been a good indicator that it's likely to come to switch online even with the immensely slow rate nintendo has been adding games to it.
There are enough games missing from the Mega Man Battle Network franchise alone to justify another collection. Mega Man Network Transmission (GCN) Rockman.EXE Wonderswan (WS) Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge (GBA) Rockman.EXE Real Operation (GBA) Rockman.EXE Phantom of Network (mobile) Rockman.EXE Legend of Network (mobile)
I like Network Tranmission but my opinon is different from the majority or fans I think lolz Congrats on the 1k, enjoyed the video, James & have a nice day everybody.
a legends collection(the 2 alongside misadventures of tron bonne have enough in it's world/probably the most in megaman outside the rpg's that it could have a collection.:3)/star force are the last major ones to do though think a collection of the other spin-off's(command mission, network transmission, xtreme 1 & 2,& bass, battle and chase and super adventure rockman's cutscenes, commercials not in the legacy collections.) would work.
Truthfully speaking, after I made the video I thought that Mega Man Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X should also be on the list but they are also remakes so decided not to add them since you can still play them in some form. I definitely would love for them to be available for sure. I play them every now and then. Thanks for Watching!
I remember renting Mega Man 64 as a kid and not getting to play it much. Once I got into college I had this weird fever dream about it and became obsessed with it cause I couldn't remember what the game was. I thought it was a soldier game for either N64, PS1 or Dreamcast. The internet wasn't what it is today so that didn't help at all. It wasn't until my early 30s that I went on a ROM binge and found it by accident. It felt so good to put a title to the dream.
You probably didn’t mention it because it’s a remake of Megaman X but Megaman X Maverick Hunter is amazing, I believe it is locked to the PSP but I never paid attention to Vile until that game and I thought he was very fun to play as. I would pay money to play it again.

the 2 arcade games are in Capcom Arcade stadium 2 as DLCs and "World" series is weirdly enough on Nintendo online instead, World 5 specifically could potentially be remake as it has original casts and story than a remix of 1-5 like the first 4 games
MegaMan collection for the 6th gen had MegaMan battle n chase and MegaMan power battles 1-2. Than Capcom took that shit away. Like WTF? Capcom needs to do some sort of "gems" collection. Mega Man & bass,MegaMan maverick hunter, MegaMan power up. Something. Capcom could give us a classic Gameboy collection. Or how about MegaMan game from the Wonder swan that never made it here.
Megaman and Bass was just basically megaman 8 but part 2. I didn't care for it due to its big difficulty curve and the 2nd level of the fortress is just bullshit. 4 boss fights with platforming sections in between and if you die you have to start all the way back at the beginning plus no E tanks.
I strongly believe that we will get a Mega Man Legends Legacy Collection and Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection. It seems Capcom is focusing on re-releasing only the canonical Mega Man games, the reason why the Mega Man Star Force series is so similar to the Mega Man Battle Network series is because they are in the 23rd century, two centuries after the Battle Network series. The Mega Man Xtreme 1 and 2 games are canon too even though they appear to be GBC remakes, but they aren't, and Mega Man & Bass too, its story is set after Mega Man 8 and before Mega Man 9. Dunno why those three were left out. And yes, I have played the GBA version of Mega Man & Bass before, I have recorded myself playing it. Mega Man X Command Mission isn't canon because it's story ignores the lore of the Mega Man Zero games, it bypasses the Cyber Elf Wars which happens a few years after Mega Man X8 in the final decade of the 22nd century and being set in the early 23rd century, and neither is Mega Man Network Transmission, which upsets me the most because it could fit between Battle Network 1 and 2, and I really want Zero.EXE to be canon, damn it!
I assumed they retcon the era for Zero with Command Mission being between X8 and Zero. I mean they included that the Jacob Tower exists in the Mega Man Zero era via Audio Drama CDs exclusive to Japan. They couldn’t done that. I mean they retcon X5 and X6 time period where X5’s ending takes place 3 months after the event with X. But in X6 they changed it to 3 weeks and Zero was found despite Zero being missing for those 3 months in X5. So, yeah… I still believe Command Mission is canon but Capcom doesn’t seem to care much about the timeline that much and think they can make adjustments later. Even CM got promoted in X Dive where some characters from Zero and the ZX series were kinda neglected. Still mad no Fenrir or Phantom to play as in X Dive.
lol that was RetroArch. I tried recording from RMG but for some reason the files kept getting corrupted when finished. I had to settle with RetroArch. Thanks for watching!
@@therandomencounter I dunno what RMG is but, RetroArch has one of the best PSX and N64 emulators as cores so it didn't have to look like that. RMG is Rosalie Mupen GUI is a Mupen 64 front end with some enhancements. Typically with Retro Arch I get this artifacting with Mega Man 64 as well as the Bomber Man games. RMG runs it perfect. I totally forgot about Misadventures of Tron Bonne. That’s on me. Didn’t mention Double Team because it’s just Mega Man BN5 but it does deserve a mention. Indeed, I was thinking this was someone on cancelled Megaman games. Also claiming Legends has 2 games when it's closer to 3 and 1/2 (as far as released products go).
Definitely wasn’t click bait. The video is about how these games haven’t showed up on modern platforms overall. They are missing because outside of emulation or finding older hardware, there is no other way to play these. Thanks for watching!
Capcom can easily re-release these under a collection with a title such as "Megaman Xtra Legendary Classics" or something clever like that
a dream scenario would be a megaman rpg collection with legends, tron bonne and command mission!
Ah, hell yes!
Technically there are three games for Legends if you include the Misadventures of Tron Bonne. I feel it’s more than enough to justify a collection, especially since these games have a much longer campaign when compared to the typical Megaman game.
