For the faster right-hand figuration in the chorus, I think he's going 4-2-1-2-4-2 (or finger 5 for the top note) ... which is what you show, but I'm hearing one extra detail-the first finger (thumb) plays together with the top finger at the start of each figure. His voicing on the E7 chord is a little odd (you're playing a G# diminished, which is certainly a possibility), I suspect his left hand is playing two notes there, whereas it sounds to be in octaves for the rest.

You’re probably right about playing the first note with the third note on the first beat of the pattern. I’d still call it an E7/G# just because of the context it was used in.

@@SamPaterson Both chords function in the same way, so that makes perfect sense. His choice to omit the E from the voicing seems strange to me however, though I'm warming to it. The usual voicing there would be G#-E-B-D. And for the D chord, he seems to be playing F#-D-A-D ... the root and fifths in the upper voices give this chord a lovely resonance.

I am very happy to hear that my video has helped.
I am currently in the works of making a complete beginner guide to becoming a multi instrumentalist which will feature a lot of lessons on playing the piano - including things like scales and music theory. I was going to record a teaser video announcing this series and now I’ll include a quick piano theory demonstration on scales for you to help get you started. If there’s anything specific you’d like to see, please let me know and I’ll add it to the list of things to cover in the piano aspect of the series!!
      Thank you for your comment!!
