As a retired chef. Fastest way to dull a knife, beating the blade on a rock, and using the edge of the knife to scrape food off a cutting board. I learned a recipe from the “duck dynasty” cookbook where you slice a duck breast in half and stuff it with cream cheese and jalapeños then season the outside and wrap it in bacon. I’ve learned to apply that to boneless chicken thighs, but I carve the bone out of the raw chicken without boiling. All the cooking is done on the grill.

Have long been envious of your vertical barrel smoker there and..just figured out how to build one watching this! You can't get an unused barrel (that oil barrel is more expensive than 50 of them filled with oil at this point) but... I have two empty beer kegs sitting in the barn. The keg merchants will not give anything for them and they are no longer made of aluminum. Going to cut the tops off and make the bottom one the fire and the top one the smoker. *Also, though all bourbon glazes are great this one is positively inspired. Guessing Shan must have come up with that! Being south / southeast of you, I walked out the door and smelled this right as I was watching it. Amazing! Stay safe ya'll.
