You must be a Chinese cheerleader. I don't know what hole you have been living in but every country trains their crews on land before being assigned to a ship. A crew member is fully capable of doing the job before going anywhere near a ship. If the land based training is something China has just started with the Fujian then welcome to the modern world. Now all China needs to do is find people that are willing to be in their navy.

according to Chinese reviewers, or something most Chinese military watchers agrees, there is an common consensus that if a plane can be ejected, it can also use skijump, but if a plane can use a skijump, maybe it can not be ejected.
so most Chinese agree that the new J35 will actually first trail on liaoning insided of fujian. and the day will be soon in this year.
for the village huangdicun, you can see a EMAL and a steam catapult, the EMAL is a bit longer than steam catapult, some Chinese commentators says that fujian initially was designed to use the steam one on the side, and thats why catapult on fujian is now strangely longer and a bit incapable with other facilities on the board

in ww2 Japanese pilots were looked down upon until Pearl Harbour. The conflict was between the Island of Japan and the USA. Should a conflict arise here it will be with a country located in a continent that is close 4 times greater than the US population over an Island 150 kms away and America 8000 kms away. Then China has tactical nuclear weapons. You don’t need a sophisticated rocket to travel 150 kms. The US is already fighting a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine, Another one with Iran and other Islamic countries in Gaza can it afford to fight a war with China over Taiwan? The majority of South East Asian countries don’t want to get involved but want peace and I suspect China wants peace too but not at any cost. Strategic ambiguity is disingenuous . The Potsdam allied declaration made Japan return Taiwan back to China. Now it is ignored as an inconvenient fact of history.🤔😳

J35s on Liaoning first then on the EMALS launch on the Fujian is what Im looking forward to. Interestingly, the Ford Class Carriers EMALS are all interconnected and if a missile swarm strike destroys even a single EMAL system, all the interdependent EMALS on deck are disabled. Unlike this problem, the Fujian has independent EMALS for each EMALS system which means if one EMALS is disabled the other two EMALS are still operable. At least in theory. During testing from March through

achieved a reliability of 614 mean
      cycles between operational
      mission failures (MCBOMF)
      during 1,841 catapult launches
(where a cycle is the launch of one

      below the requirement of 4,166
      MCBOMF, EMALS showed slight
      improvement in reliability from
      FY21 (460 MCBOMF throughout
      1,758 catapults). However, during
the first underway of IOT&E in

It is interesting that this is the first USA weapon system they could not copy. Coping everything in the world will not make you super power.
The us navy has over a 100 years experience. You can’t copy or duplicate experience. A engineer in China is a guy that can read blue prints. A aircraft carrier is the most dangerous environment on earth that operate like well choreographed ballet . The construction of the aircraft carrier material is something you can’t cut corners on. Military weapons take every system to the limit of every material made on earth. To augment this material the tolerance must be held to a very tight standard to make materials last as long as possible. Modern equipment has made this task easier. But it still requires skilled operators. Last any part that fails is promptly thrown away. The Chinese never throw anything away.
They lack quality in manufacturing, operation and especially training. Only time will repair this deficiency.

In fact, we Chinese people have not had much reaction to the launch of the new aircraft carrier. Because for us, this is actually a normal pace. Step by step to achieve the goal. So there's nothing surprising. The next step is to develop larger and more advanced aircraft carriers. We will not leap forward and make unrealistic ideas. I will only lay a solid foundation and then iterate on it. Some countries just like to brag and create projects that are not realistic, leading to catastrophic consequences. We also don't want to invade any country. Territorial disputes are actually quite normal. But we will never invade distant countries. Unlike some countries that act as world police and cause trouble everywhere. Essentially, we Chinese people love peace and have not fought a war for many years, but strong military force is the guarantee of peace. I want you to know which country I am referring to. There are also some countries that like to be a dog and obey the commands of the world police, which is very funny and brings some benefits, like a mad dog biting people everywhere. The most crucial thing is that they will also stand on the moral high ground to blame others. This kind of country is also very disgusting. Of course, this kind of country may also be forced out of helplessness, but it is still very disgusting.

The Chinese nation, for all its long-term view of, well, almost everything, seems today, woefully ignorant of the fact that a lot of Chinese production nowadays starts out beautifully and then ends, soon after in collapse. (Does the term, "Tofu Dreg" mean anything to anyone?) In the world of innovation and ideas, I am reminded of the Japanese revolution of industry and technology, in the '80's. Everything was novel and everything was well done. But, as time wore on, we began to see that a lot was just imitation, not ground-breaking. I'm just saying, settle down and let's see how well this stacks up against existing technologies and practices.
,By the way, I think any innovation directed towards the betterment of life is amazing, and China has had a lot of great ideas lately, other than in the military field. But, I encourage the long term view that we must wait and see. Remember the story of Zhou-En-Lai's answer to Kissinger when he was asked about the French Revolution.

I'm no China fanboy and I hate the CCP, but you're wrong. Chinese carriers have chaff and flares to confuse missiles, plus high-speed anti-missile cannons to spray the air with shells and shrapnel to destroy incoming missiles. And to even get that far, a missile would have to get past similar defenses from the ring of ships around the carrier - certainly including a Type 055 Renhai-class cruiser, plus advanced modern destroyers and frigates. And of course what's going to launch that missile? A plane? It's a carrier with fighter patrols far out.
