@@JoDaddysGarage I just finished doing a 68 Camaro minitub and other stuff, wrapping it up now. Always good to see others' work in same/similar focus areas.
@@JoDaddysGarage You are a great fabricator. I'm paying attention to how you are doing this project. I like that you are correctly fixing the problems that were unforeseen. I'm restoring a 69 Camaro and your videos help out alot. Thanks for the videos on how to do this properly. I subscribed to your channel.
+Old Gamer Well, the difficulty is that the frame tapers outward behind the axle. A narrower tub that would fit without modification wouldn't gain any width advantage. If you notice, the front part of the frame doesn't get cut.
Thanks for posting. About to take on this project. This series is helpful
my flange was the same way on the 69, i just replaced the outer portion of each wheel house. A real bear of a job.
Always staying tuned!
For anyone that is curious DS has a video on this and it is updated from what I see from Jo's instructions.

Why don't they make a Mini tub just wide enough so you don't have to cut the frame??
I watched the firewall video before this video. The floor plans are horrible. Lol
They were. Still makes me mad.
