    my flange was the same way on the 69, i just replaced the outer portion of each wheel house. A real bear of a job.

    I want to do the same to my 68 chevelle i wonder if Detroit speed sells them for my car i looked but did not see them.a lot of good information you are giving us thanks look forward to part 2 later

      @@JoDaddysGarage I just finished doing a 68 Camaro minitub and other stuff, wrapping it up now. Always good to see others' work in same/similar focus areas.

    nice work. im getting ready to do the minitub on the stang next. just welded in the frame rails. wish you were doing a mustang lol.

    Why don't they make a Mini tub just wide enough so you don't have to cut the frame??

I'm restoring a 69 Camaro and your videos help out alot. Thanks for the videos on how to do this properly. I subscribed to your channel.

      +Old Gamer Well, the difficulty is that the frame tapers outward behind the axle. A narrower tub that would fit without modification wouldn't gain any width advantage. If you notice, the front part of the frame doesn't get cut.

      I did find some after i posted the comment from Real steel they are 3/4in narrower 260. bucks but fit great
