I have been contemplating mini tubs on my car but I just can’t bring myself to cut the new frame rails yet. It’s a necessary evil I know you made it look realistic and not to terribly difficult. Nice job thanks for posting the progress.

Yeah, I wasn't thrilled to cut up my brand new floor/frame rails, but when in Rome!?

A truly awesome job. I can imagine myself screaming < expletive > seeing those gaps after the cutouts .... thanks for sharing!😉 Will refer to this video if I ever decide for a DSE minitub on my '68 ... lmao when you say 'havin a bit of an issue here ..' when encountering a huge problem.

Thanks a bunch Steve! I knew I would have some issues going into this install, so I wasn't too surprised. I like how splitting the tub worked out. "It's not a problem, it's a project." ~ Autorestomod Cheers Buddy!

Hey Elrod. Isn't it nice to do it yourself? A good feeling in my book. Nice work. Thanks for sharing. 🍁👍👍

Yeah, I prefer to screw things up myself as opposed to paying someone to screw it up for me. LOL

Very nicely done! You did a good job of working around a couple of the same issues I ran into. Keep rolling!

Thanks! I like how it turned out. It may even give me a little extra room for tire clearance.

Looking might fine! That weld through primer is so hit or miss to weld through. I find that certain brands work a lot better than others.

Yeah, and it doesn't help that I slather that stuff on like maple syrup on waffles. I should ease up on the trigger.

Nice work, I had the same issues with there templates leaving a gap, seems they could fix that issue on the templates to fix that issue.

I think it was a blessing in disguise. I needed to split the tub to close the flange gap anyway. Now, do I cut it smaller on the driver side????
