Canadian here! I've been ticketed in the US before... I think it was 87 in a 70? ticket was only 80 bucks, so I wasn't too worried... Apparently whatever state I was in at the time does however communicate this stuff with Canada, and I did lose a couple points on my license... If you don't pay, the next time you try and cross into the states, they'll basically take you directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200 lol
The Dodge stepside truck has an imitation of the factory steel slot wheel that was also used on the Little Red Truck, and Warlock 4WD models around 1979. I like them because you're not going to see two trucks with matching wheels. Is there a possibility that that little pewter truck has a Hellcat in an almost sleeper design?

Turning the road into a parking lot by cutting the travel lanes in half for the largest traffic load of the year- brilliance. I did get to see on motorcycle cop lay his bike down as he made one of the dozens of loops he made that night. The cops made a real ass of themselves in Biloxi.

I just have to say that I absolutely love this car. On the 15 inch steelie, with a blown big block, this car is perfect street fighter, late 70s hot rod vibe. I fully respect the big brakes, 18s and suspension upgrades, but in my opinion, this car belongs on 15 inch staggered chrome steelies. At the end of the day though, it's not my car and at least it gets to survive. Also, I love it, regardless
You may like the Butternut yellow '67 Camaro at 12:20, but I'm really digging the blue and white '69 Camaro next to it. It kind of reminds me of my '68.
I don't remember what size of blower you have on your 57 Dave. 6-71 or 8-71. After watching you install it I'm so looking forward to build my 440 with a blower. It will be stroked with an Eagle 500 kit. It will be going in my 57 Dodge step side. The 57 is lookn Awesome. 😎👍

Reckless Driving in Washington State is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE. So ya, handcuffed and taken to jail was I. All for a burnout....
When I was in my early 20s we had a new 1969 GTO. Late at night, on the way home, a Challenger pulled up alongside of me and we raced about three stop lights. I beat him each time. We got lit up and got speed contest tickets. Long story short, I got off with a 45 in a 35 zone, because I came to court and the other guy hired an expensive lawyer and delayed his court date.
If stock, swap the leaf springs to the interior of the frame rails and mini-tub it. Very common conversion for slicks, especially. I did it to my '55 and gained about 3 inches of wheel clearance. Will require a narrowed rear or offset wheels if you just want the look of bigger meat. Google the relocation. Kits are out there. Of course, you can always ladder bar or 4-link it.
Dave, it sounds like you made some great upgrades to the '57, but those rims don't do it for me. They just don't fit the look, but it's your car and money, so you do what works for you. Sorry 'bout your luck with the citation but thankful you managed to avoid jail. That Olds '88 is sick. Keep making the great content! You guys have all the best events!
