I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your informative videos. This has help me greatly with my detroit speed mini tub install in my 69 Camaro resto mod. Best, Mike
@ParadiseBayCustoms I am working on the old shock mount close outs. Because I have to replace the trunk pan, wheels wells and quarter panels I decided to spit the trunk pan in two sections like you did. I had to elongate the new new shock mount like you did. Taking the rear down to the frame rails gave me the opportunity to reinforce the frame where the new and old shock crossmembers sit on the frame rails. I agree with your philosophy that if you have the opportunity to reinforce this otherwise inaccessible locations you should do so especially if adding a powerful power plant
Nicely done! You and Roger are going to be getting to the "assembly stage" at about the same time soon. Problem is, with these great builds going on, I won't be getting enough time in the garage to complete my own '67! Keep up the great work!
@@charlieseidelmann6702 I hear ya… I’m not looking forward to that phase either. Also reluctant to attempt full quarter panel replacement but will inevitably bite the bullet and take them on. I have the replacement quarters here in the shop.
@@ParadiseBayCustoms absolutely great stuff i used the DSE heater block off plate. Super happy with the results. I think I need to get a bigger garage for more toys.
Ahh yes! Another victory!! Looks good and the metal finishing is superb!
Thanks Kevin! Really appreciate the kind words and support. 👍

@@ParadiseBayCustoms Panel fitment 😞But want to backup and correct some "less than stellar" aka "hackjob" method of repairs that I'm ashamed of!

I really think I want to do a 4 link and mini tubs on one of my next builds. I do like DSE components too. Thanks for some insight.

It's looks like it's ready to do WAR! Something about naked metal that makes you go "NICE!"
What gauge sheet metal did you use?
I used 1/8” plate - 11 gauge. 👍
@@ParadiseBayCustoms Thanks, bought some today.
@@johnzeek4731 Awesome. I’m sure it will turn out great 👍
