The girls are growing so quick!! I love that they are so involved in helping with the garden, and Amber is not afraid of getting those hands dirty!😂Its amazing of how many plants you have been able to plant since the time you moved in that it was basically an empty canvas. I can't wait to see more of the gardens as everything continues to grown in. Love your channel.😍
They grow up so fast! I’m taking in every moment I can with them. Amberlynn is certainly not afraid of getting dirty she’s our silly girl. This area has been fun to garden in. Still learning about the light as it’s getting hotter and taking notes. 💚💚💚💚💚💚
Awww that’s really sweet, helping mom in the garden, I wish my daughter will do the same but unfortunately she’s afraid of bugs, even ants 😂congratulations well done 👏🏻
So fun to watch your beautiful girls planting in your side garden. It soon will be lush and full. Keep the Hostas wet until your shade trees and shrubs fill out and they will be just fine. Such a pretty view already.
Hello sweet and beautiful garden friend! 🤗💐💚🙏 Thank you so much the kiddos have been very helpful. I’ve learn to let go and let their ideas bloom. Thank you for the hosta advice I’ll keep them well watered. It hurts to see them burn but soon the garden will grow and shade them. Sending our love have a beautiful day in your lovely garden I adore so much. 💚💚💚💚💚💚
That’s so special❤ it’s lovely to have everyone share the same passion and love for gardening! Pls let me know the name of the variegated tree in the pot against the fence? Is it a flowering dogwood? I would love a review on it as well as the oak leaf pink hydrangea❤
Happy weekend! Yes it is a flowering dogwood called Wolf Eyes. We will make a video on the dogwood and show the Oakleaf before the color fades away. 💚💚💚💚💚💚
This is going to be a beautiful garden space. Can you please let us know how it fairs in our summer heat without breaking Stage 3 water restrictions? Now that we can only water once a week, except hand watering, how often will you hand water? I would love to grow these plants
We have restrictions where we live too and I collect rainwater in a rain barrel and it makes up for the inability to water. I also have 50% clover lawn and you mow less, stays green and needs no watering.
Thank you! Drip irrigation, collecting rain water and if must water by hand early morning and self watering containers come in handy for those water loving plants. If I have plants in containers I use big pots so they hold moister and don’t have to be watered more than once in the day if needed. Good quality soil I love using Espoma Potting mix for the containers holds the right amount of moister but drains well. Mulching is another big one that helps. We have gardened in hot climates and I’ve been able to just water once in the day in hottest time of year. I’ll keep everyone updated on how it goes this year we’ve had light drizzles showers once in a while been really nice in our area. 💚💚💚💚💚💚
The Hosta in the grey planter is particularly lovely and can be tucked under a shade tree to protect the plant. Imagine it in different locations in that strip of land - you'll be surprised just where it wants to be.
