Her musical interpretations are impeccable. Subtle melodies are balanced with dominant themes, but both distinctly, though in different tone/touch. I've seen this over and over with her performances. Timeless musicianship. And a marvelous performer.
Beautifully played! Many try to highlight their bravura & virtuosity to the detriment of the sheer beautiful moments in this work. Mariam did a fantastic job. Liszt's masterpiece is surely the first TRUE Romantic Piano Concerto, one that influenced Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saens, Rachmaninov and the rest who followed in his wake.
Again..and again...why, in Gods name, would you in any situation, put, or install these mindless tone deaf advertisements..more importantly, the thought or idea, that this was a good idea..who interrupts a train of thought, which is expressed in music, for a better word...to get attention or take away someones enjoyment...its lunacy, which is too light a word for these pundits of fools..
She is an absolute genius, so emotional when she plays the piano.

Beautiful Mariam !
Maravilhosa!
Superb performance!!!
Finalmente un audio eccellente!
Forse Liszt pensava che il suo concerto si dovesse suonare così ! Brava Mariam !!!
Somehow her playing reminds me of Jorge Bolet
I remember J Bolet playing in Berlin years ago. Also a geat performer
Gonzalo Valdivia you’re a lucky man to hear him live
Bolet - one of the great List players. I saw him here in NY several times back in the 1970s/80s.
@@captsub lucky you
@@aspis6397 Yup - great Liszt player. and we saw Ms Batsashvili's NY debut in 2016. Stupendous. We hope, after this plague is over, she returns.
Al in de kwartfinale was me duidelijk dat ze de winnaar zou worden.
I enjoyed her performance but what is that image printed on the back of her jacket?
@Frank Skoda-Simmons Yes I understand. I was just wondering. Thank you.
As you know she’s from Georgia. So it might be a cultural or national image. I do not know.
The Smurfs introduction.
Terrific.

Without those ads there wouldn’t be a video.
Obviamente tu no eres pianista.
