UPDATE: Today I tested the proclaimed "self cleaning" properties of FUSSO after rain, road salt and snow. it did not make the car 100% clean with the power washer only the car will need to be foamed and possibly agitated ever so lightly. the hydrophobic properties are repeated as in my video so this makes drying the car a breeze but the cleaning ability so far is no better than the waxes i have been using prior. Just wanted to pass this along to you guys. I do think this would be an ideal winter wax but all year wax not so sure until the warmer seasons approach and i give it more consideration. 3/6/16 UPDATE. The cleaning properties are all but gone after 3 small snowfalls and road salt. My car which is black also has a swirl mark effect from using the Fusso this is the Teflon residue that does not react well in the cold temps for removal. I can only get this film swirl mark effect off when I strip the panels with IPA. It is too cold now but I can not wait to strip this stuff off and go back to the Collinite 915, my car does not look as good now with the Fusso and this is my real world feedback. I will be giving the can away on my Instagram page soon, stay tuned! AF
Auto Fanatic it’s a wax not a ceramic coating.
Thanks for the update,
I think it really depends on how soiled the car is. Under normal conditions (light dirt and road grime) I can get away with just power washing the car twice a week and using sonax BSD as drying aid. The Fusso coat layer is now approaching its 6th month and there's no sign of it wearing off just yet.
Even ceramics don't give you 100% self cleaning properties. The best i have come across and i have tried lots is kamikaze overcoat. I would say that it gives you about 75% and lasts about 4m.
Thanks for the update, much appreciated!
If Fusso is streaking or leaving a powdery residue you're applying it too thickly or leaving it to cure for too long. I've been using it (on a black Alfa Romeo) for over 5yrs and NEVER experienced either of the issues you mentioned. It's a brilliant product.
Does it really block uv rays from sunlight ? Preventing fade paint
@@playstation2bigs it actually does, used this for 4 years on a challenger, paint looks deep and rich without any fading on the paint or clear coat. No dusting or anything from my experience, it supposedly reduces gloss, but I haven’t noticed that. Always nothing but compliments, especially when it rains.
Or there is to much product left in the applicator, this was my problem. I cleaned it halfway the application and i didn’t have the problem anymore. Also it is easier to apply the fusso coat with the applicator that is delivered with it.
@@sveno6800the trick is to soak the applicator before use and ring it out
The water in the applicator will prevent the wax from building up
Also the less the better

One can shoul do about 30 applications
It is hands down the best wax/sealant out there
Also fusso makes King of gloss which is meant to go with fusso soft 99
It willl last about 6 months and gives great gloss it also protects the fusso soft coat ( sacrificial layer )
A second option for gloss is fusso Mirror shine
Very easy application
Wipe it on
Wipe it off
No waiting
Great Gloss
Last about 3 months
All three can be stand alone
Or you can layer either or on top of fusso soft 99
All three go on the same way
Very very very thin application.
@@playstation2bigs nah the real ceramic coat is the winner in terms uv protection but in Real World it's useless except if u are one of them crazy pyromancy there u go ceramic coat...
I've been using Fusso for a few years. Simply the best winter wax you can put on your car. You're being slightly dramatic about the odor and towels, etc. I wash the towels and applicators with my other microfibers that I use for wax and sealant and there are no issues, funny smells, I didn't have to throw away my washing machine or burn my house down, and my pets didn't even die.
you obviously don't work in a shop or industrial envirioment with chemicals most of your adult life, when i work on my cars at home that is the last thing i want to deal with is harsh fumes and the solvent in Fusso is very harsh, i acutally lit the tin on fire as a test yesterday,
I'm not disputing that it's probably more harsh than most detailing chemicals. There's a reason there aren't any US importers for Soft99 and it probably has to do with VOC standards (just guessing at this). But I don't find the smell to be any more harsh than many of the APCs and wheel cleaners that you can buy off the shelf in a detailing store. I use caution with any chemical and always wear gloves even with carnuba products. You used the product incorrectly (I did too the first time I used it).Try putting Collinite 845 on as thick and see if you have similar results removing it. That's a more comparable product than 915.
Just ordered the tub of light Fusso 99 for my automobile, I will probably layer this with the 915 for warm and glow since my car is white

I've been using Fusso now for a couple of years and I am amazed by it's performance. It doesn't have the gloss factor of sio2 or glare glassplexin but the self cleaning abilities blow the rest away. I find after 6 months it is still performing just as well as the first day. In my humble opion, with proper prep and garaged at night, Fusso will last 12 months with no worries at all.
This is a product for people who just want to do one detail a year.
Basically a video moaning about a product that hasn't been applied properly 🤔
I've been using this stuff for about a year on customers car. It is fantastic. Easy on, easy off. No need to let it sit for that long. I buff it off within 5 minutes. Stuff lasts long
Just ordered the tub of light Fusso 99 for my automobile, I will probably layer this with the 915
9months with my fusso 99....thats pretty sweet
Had a laugh to myself after watching this 🤣🤣 fusso is the best product out there and there is absolutely no doubt about that
Fusso is great, always washing my applicator after in hot water with dish soap, that way i don't have dusting next time and no problem to wash the towels. Also followed suggestion to used a damp applicator and its match better user experience .
Thanks for sharing. I'm more old school having grown up using Simonize (probably still have 1/2 a can somewhere), so I consider myself a traditionalist. But I know that there are many new and improved products out there that deserve a try. Case in point your wheel cleaner.
My neighbors and friends think I'm a bit nuts washing and cleaning and waxing my car on a regular basis, but I try to explain that I really enjoy doing it and find it therapeutic (I kind of get in a zone), I get exercise, and when done I have a very good looking car!
Anyway I enjoy these reviews and appreciate you sharing them with us. And by the way I use collinite based on your recommendation and like it.
Just wanted you to know you're like my mentor lol every time I have a question about something I always come to your page and watch your videos and find the answer. You're videos are awesome! I just bought some collinite 915, excited to try it!
let me know how you like it
Great review on a fantastic product. I never had issues buffing it off when applied super thin, left for maximum 8 minutes and when air temp is around 15C or above. I put it on my SUV following correct prepping stages nearly 6 months ago and I maintain it with Sonax BSD once a month or Soft99 luxury gloss spray wax. These products won't mastk fusso's hydrophobic characteristics. I now use the Salt off as part of my weekly maintenance wash if car is covered in grit and works perfectly with Fusso Coat. No chemicals should be used in non-ventilated environments and it's a principle I follow so the fumes and smell were not an issue for me. I do intend to keep it as my winter wax so it is back to collinite 845 when spring arrives.
Auto Fanatic I love my collinite 845 (easy to put on, easy to take off) . I’m gonna give a try to the 915. And that fusso wax looks like a good option as well specially for the durability. Thanks for the video
Im a professional mobile detailer in the UK.
I always wear gloves when Im detailing. It stops finger prints and greasy hand marks.
Fusso is great. Ive used it for a while. Ive never had a problem with residue or hazing, the smell is fine, there's no issues washing my microfiber cloths.
With maintenance washes every 2 to 4 weeks 1 Fusso application will give 6 to 9 months of good water beading.
No doubt Fusso will be known to cause cancer and birth defects in the nanny state of California.
Just ordered the tub of light Fusso 99 for my automobile, I will probably layer this with the 915
No need. Fusso works the best if you use Fusso on its own.
@@mynsxt6 yea dont layer it youll lose the hydrophobic properties
Fusso or collinite 845?
@@sahhull Soft99 makes 'FUSSO coat speed and barrier' hand spray which is the perfect and compatible way to freshen up the finish now and again. Happy polishing. FUSSO rules!
Soft 99 fuso is a Polymer Sealer.... i love the ease of use, its awesome hydrophobic propreties, and it last more than 6 months here in Canada, This beeing said, yes you need to wear gloves, like many other car coatings, its very well priced, and the gloss is good.... at least it doesnt smell like iron x lmao!!!
Fusso is really nice,, I have customers come back and specifically request it to be applied to their other vehicles once they have seen how hydrophobic it is. I applied it to my personal car and it held up around 6 months before the lower doors started to fail. You just need to be careful with using safe soaps that won't strip it off. I've used the 915 and 845 as well and they haven't held up more than a couple of months. You should always wear gloves applying any product that could touch your skin. Another jdm wax to try is ION naviwax. Super nice stuff
Can you apply it with a DA machine?
Please tell us more about what soaps to avoid, or which ones you recommend.
U applied way to much. Fusso is easy to use in any conditions. Apply very thin and remove after 5/10 mins. 1 to 2 swipes would coat your hood. Not the 5/6 heavy swipes you used. The 915 is high in solvents too if compared to a natural carnauba wax like Zymol. You should always try a wax a few times and try different methods before judging
I dug my tin of Fusso out and put a coat on yesterday for winter protection. I didn’t notice it had an excessive solvent smell whilst applying in the driveway. I washed out the applicator in dish soap like I do with polishing pads and it washed out good as new. Towels were washed in the washing machine as normal and are perfect just like if I’d used any product. It was easy to use and the results spoke for themselves when it rained that night.
When you said you don’t like ceramic coatings i pressed subscribe.
Good video! Liked that you were candid about the product, to include Pros and Cons. I’ve been using 915 since you introduced me to it years ago. Also use their 476s in the winter and applied 2 coats of their 845 after I did my full Decontamination. I’m am not going to quit using Collinite 915, 476s or 845 on my Black BMW 435i! I see that other followers share my appreciation of Collinite.
yeah its the process and reward like you i also enjoy. the results of this Fusso are impressive so far we will see how well it works when the car gets dirty each week il be updating my website review and Instagram with the results so make sure you check back
The smell isn’t that damn bad, and I’ve never had white dust, none, zero. Not sure why you had issues, but it’s awesome. Goes on easy and comes off like butter with zero streaking.
Proved over and over, Soft99 lasts way longer than Collinite
Very good test and never heard of fusso. Thanks
Used this and this is the best wax that I have used, had no issue with any white dust or anything. It was easy to use and the smell did not bother me, but I'am old school and used to these smells. I washed the microfibers in the washing machine and had no issue with that, no smells after. I agree nothing last for 12 months. Good video.
I'm using it on all of my three cars and I love it. It is a work out applying it though as it dries quick and hard.
I have been using fusso for 3 years now and think its great. I never have any issues with application. The best way to think of applying it is less is best.
So you've used it 3 times :D
Seriously, I've had it just over a year and I've used it 3 times, mainly because I wanted to do it again, I find it easy to use.
Absolutely fantastic true demo of knowledge and product
Just got it in and applied it to my Tundra with a damp rag, the garage was no more than 35 degrees. I went on smooth and after 10 minutes polished out beautifully.. I am definitely impressed. When it gets warmer I will knock out my wife's Tacoma.
I did my wife's '08 Mazda Tribute daily driver with Fusso nine months ago. The paint was clayed, polished with a DA, and wiped down with IPA, prior to coating. Since then, it has been hand washed at least 15 times and touchless washed six times. The paint still looks amazing and beads water like crazy, despite enduring a nasty Chicago winter. This stuff is extremely durable and easily outlasts all my favorite waxes and sealants( Collinite 845, Finish Kare High Temp Past Wax, etc.).
thats what every seems to be saying, we had rain overnight, salt, and snow otw. in a few days when the roads dry il do a wash just to see how clean i can get the car without using soap or a contact wash just pressure washer and water. Il be posting this clip on my Instagram feed.
for my first wax i decided to go for Fusso99 over collonite and hoped i wont regret it. I loved it so much i bought both black and light cans. It does an amazing job. Like others have said, apply a very thin layer or you will suffer trying to buff it off.
Fusso works best on its own. For the best result it needs to bond to the paint layer.
nice car, and thanks for the knowledge!
I used the fusso coat its amazing
Just ordered some....can't wait to try it out
bad rain today and the water literally flies of the car as you drive, when i parked it looked as if the car was just washed and towel dried, crazy but this stuff is pretty cool so far
I've been using this for almost 3 years (3 applications once each 10 months).
I wash my cars twice a month. They bead so good that I only leaf blower dry them and I happy.
The secret is to apply very, very sparingly. If you think that you can see it as you apply it, you're using too much. I don't wait 5 minutes to remove. I start removing after three minutes and hit it with my terry cloth on my buffer, before 5 minutes.
Griot's pfm towels have to be my favorite towels I've used to date.
As always thx for reviewing alternative products and saving us the expense of doing it.. really! This morning I stripped the wax off my wheels I put on 3 weeks ago to try the Gyeon Rim, but am sticking with 915 on the car for now.
did you use the rim sealant how bad does it smell using it? i have not tried it yet
Auto Fanatic some smell, I did it outside and didn’t notice it while applying
Been using fusso99 for a while now. I can easily make it last 9 months. Even not using Wax champoos or quick details. With Wax champoos and quick detailing in every wash I think I could make it last 12 months.
I'm doing that test right now.
With this wax I became a huge soft99 fan, they have really good products and the prices are fantastic.
Liked you video, Just subscribed. ;)
I have it on my shelf and I like it, never noticed a ill effects.
I've never seen #915 in that size jar before. Before I found ceramic and Sio2 paint coatings #915 and #476 were my favorite waxes. I have #845 and it's nice but doesn't last as long as the other 2, not even close.
Car looks awesome BTW!
You've put it on far too thick. The trick is to apply a very thin layer. Too much product will result in dusting.
I've not noticed any dusting and I use the dark and light Fusso.
the dusting was because it was too cold outside, have you tried this in the winter? in the demo video the temp was almost 20degrees warmer and no dusting just oily residue and hazing that was hard to get off
trixy270 I agree. I used it for the first time and it was about 45 degrees. Absolutely no white residue none at all. He Is putting it on way too thick you have to put it on extremely thin. I’ve had no problems with that at all and I’ve only used it once or twice. This guy supposed to be an expert. Doesn’t seem like it
Left it too dry too long especially since winter
Great video man
thanks for checking this out
Apex Detail did a comparison of Fusso and the Collinite 915...Fusso was the clear winner in his video...Fusso is an excellent product...to each his own...
he does not test products on actual multiple cars over the duration of months very different content, Fusso is stronger but the 915 is the better wax in every way you put it, gloss, ease of use and user experience plus the PTFE in Fusso is very dangerous to be working with for health reasons, look it up and consider if it is really worth the risk of breathing in this stuff to keep your car shinny.
@@autofanaticcars thank you for the reply...and I will agree on the inhalation of the fumes...there are trade offs to everything...thanks again...
Greetings from Brazil. I used collinite 476s for a long time, but durability even by performing decontamination, using correct products yet the durability is not so great. Three months on average. Soft99 Fusso Coat 12 Months is for me the best option on the market today. 10/10
thanks for sharing i will also see how it holds up for the rest of our NY winter.
i like Fusso Coat, lasted 12months in Denmark Europe. I will try Soft99 Kiwami Extreme Gloss Silver on top of the Fusso
Soft99 makes 'FUSSO coat speed and barrier' hand spray which is the perfect and compatible way to freshen up the finish now and again. Happy polishing. FUSSO rules!
Thank you! Very interesting. Looking forward to the Ceramic Coatings vid!
I honestly do not see why people are against it, except for maybe inability to 1-step light polish (which is a good thing to do anyway) and recoat once in a few years, or because of what they call a "synthetic look".
because the ceramic coating craze is how all these pro shops are making all their money these days. its a revenue generator prior to these coatings coming to market it was a different scenario running a detail shop.
Fusso actually seems like a pretty legit wax
Hi!
You can most definately wash your microfibre rags even if they are soaked in Fusso, no problem. No stink.
The best Fusso Coat!
Going by my own personal experience with this product I think you would have had a much better experience if you didn't apply it so heavy. What you used on your hood is what I would have used on my entire vehicle.
Great video AF, 👍
Ok it SMELLS!!! enough already !!!
Amen!!
A respirator would fix that issue.
Imagine being a good guy and making a video for people to stay safe from smells of chemicals and some buy like you comes along to be rude. Too many disrespectful people like you in the world. I appreciate the video a great deal. Especially having kids.

Used this yesterday on a friends car, didnt smell as described in this video. My towels are fine, does not smell in my flat. I guess it depends on what you are used to but I didnt experience the problems described. I did see the white dust when polishing the surface.

Thank you for you great video.
What do you think between this versus gyeon cancoat

I’ve used the Soft 99 on my Ridgeline at temps in the low 80s. I experienced none of the problems you have. No white powder or bad odor.
I actually think you may apply a little thick, however it still normal for many common user, which may not be a problem in others product.
By the way, I encounter the issue that shadow and pain to remove with 915, but can be avoided by wipe off a
little earlier.
Looking forward to see why you don‘t apply ceramic coating on car.
I been use it for 2yr. Fusse. Last 8 months in wis
Totally agree with you, if this fusso stuff really lasts a year. I’d get bored of not waxing my car, I love waxing my car! Don’t get wrong, I would prefer to not do it every weekend but I use a really good BILT hamber wax which is a mixture of T1 carnuaba and synthetic polymers and if only costs £15 and it will last you 3-4 months. Its pretty nice to use and I love to just wax my whole car on a nice day. This fusso is relatively hard to apply with all the prep required and it doesn’t look very fun to apply. The hydrophobics are very impressive however tbh I have a hard time telling a difference between them and BILT hamber double speed wax. Both are insanely hydrophobics and water runs off the car instantly
great winter wax
il be trying the new Gyeon Wax soon for winter prep lets see how it works and holds up
Won't last 12 months but easily 6-8.
Can also be layered! 👍
im going to see and post updates now that the entire car is coated, i wash 4+ times a week and soaps do break down coatings so lets see, il do an update video in the future. 12 months if you follow their protocol as it says on the tin.
you would be surprised with soaps can do over time with pressure washing. all depends on the surfactant blends used in the soap.
Collinite has been the best wax I’ve ever used for a while now, I don’t plan on switching anytime soon...
i agree its been my go to wax for over 25 years
Auto Fanatic can you do a review of the 845 insulator wax
@@drewsky1967 845 is good and gives a nice warm finish to the paint but it doesn't last as long as Fusso
FUSSO all the way!
The coating could last 12 months, but it degraded a little bit after about 8 months on the lower panels and the front bumper. Conditions in my country (Austria): pretty cold winters with way too much salt on the roads, hot summers, regular rainfalls. It was also exposed 24/7 to the elements.
I‘m not a fan anymore. I like to protect my paint with every maintenance wash with the Sonax BSD, which is btw. my fav product of the last 3 years.
I still love Fusso Coat. I'm not overly scent sensitive so that aspect doesn't bother me. I have used both 915 and Fusso Coat on my personal car. Both with excellent results. For the winter I apply Fusso Coat for it's durability and longevity. 8 to 10 months in our Canadian winters says a lot about this product. As for the streaking of Fusso Coat, the only way around that is to slightly dampen your applicator and use minimal product. Any customers that don't come in for an occasional maintenance wash, I'll apply Fusso Coat so the car looks better for longer. Folks that come back for their regular maintenance wash I'll use Collinite. Thanks for putting this comparison together for us. You put together an honest review . 👍
thanks so should i spray the applicator with some mist of water to eliminate the streaking? on black it was hard to get my hood perfected in this demo, it seems this can be finicky with the application thickness which can also be hard to control with ambient temps and flash time. thanks for watching. AF
@@autofanaticcars I just mist my applicator with warm water and squeeze it out. I had the same issues you had when I first used it. Once I used a slightly damp applicator and minimal product it worked well. I use the wax application method that Paul Dalton of Miracle Detail uses. I wipe the applicator off on one side of the pot as I'm taking it out. I figure if that method works on million + dollar cars it'll work on the daily drivers I detail 😉. Thanks again for your in depth and honest review. You've given me some great tips in your videos! 👍
As an experience Soft99 user, Fusso coat is ideal for winter. There is so much more to explore in the range! For this test I’m confident soft99 water block will easily match with other opponents with a better finish and still beads just as good as Fusso coat if not better! Let’s hope the improve version will continue the trend. From what I understand the solvent smell will be tone down to the slightest. For summer simply use kiwami, king of gloss, mirror shine and authentic or use a layer method with Fusso coat all year round!
any idea when the new version will be released to the USA?
@@autofanaticcars not too sure about that but Europe wise in 2-3 months time
Oh my god that stuff sounds like Astro shield remember that smelt like turpentine by the way your wash mop is awesome a must have for car detailers
ha ha ha yeah i remember that stuff, i swear this stuff brought back bad memories as a kid using that old stuff, it does work awesome but the fumes and difficulty to get off and perfect on a black car may not be for everyone.
Can’t wait for the ceramic coating vid. Part time detailer, have clients that want that coating but I talk out of it. But would love to hear you opinion and thoughts about it. Keep up the good work 👍
there are so many things il discuss and it will start a flame war on the net from people who wont accept the truth of what il say. il work on that once the weather warms up.
Sounds good can’t wait 👍👍 also the drying towels you recommended work great
Like everything... If the customer wants it, is willing to pay, and you know how to apply it well... Do it.
Northy the issue arises when the cust has seen and heard about how ceramic coating is the best thing since sliced bread. You never have to worry washing your car again since nothing can stick. Swirls, after CC those are things of the past. O ya, and they don’t understand why a car wash after CC is more expensive.
As a detailer(or any profession) is to explain and educate your customer so they can make an educated decision about there vehicle
Yep, Fusso Coat has a solvent smell to it, its a serious synthetic wax that's not trying to smell nice for the consumer, often a marketing ploy. Fusso isn't as bad as you seem to make out, the MF cloths clean up just fine and doesn't leave your laundry machine stinking. I've been using it for quite a few years, no issues. Hot tip, apply using a damp applicator, it'll go on easier, thinner and makes it easier to remove, not that it's a hard was to remove. Lastly dust? What dust?, never had fusso dust up on me ever.
After watching this I know Im not the only person that still believes in Collinite (in my area, I probably am). I used to wash and wax my own cars around 10 years ago but have since moved into a complex that doesnt allow car washing etc. So my cars sit out in the open and are subject to the elements. Ive since had all of them ceramic coated etc etc and after spending a few thousand dollars on that and not seeing the outright benefits (cost vs longevity ) I have reverted to Collinite once again. Thankfully Ill be moving back into a house and I can start a regime again . I will be keen to try out Fusso as well. The process is therapeutic indeed.
thanks for posting your feedback the hype with ceramic coatings is ridiculous these days.
@@autofanaticcars Agree. I'm not a detailer by any means, but I know enough to know when Im marketed something I don't need. Sure there's a place and market for Coatings - I've yet to see it (locally at least )
Hi, I just randomly came upon your post. I wanted to note one thing: Many, many of these branded panel wipe products do not work and neither does IPA. Stand a candle up in a cup filled with IPA. It will still be a candle days later. These products do not remove surface contaminants.
Reference PPG DX/SX-330. This, when used as the label suggests, truly removes everything from the paint. It can’t be shipped to CA. It will liquify a candle. It’s not sexy but it’s formulated to do the job.
I see a great deal of people including a lot of popular wrap specialists on here making the same error.
Just wanted to point that out.
Best success.
these products are no substitute for auto body prepsol solvents thats for sure but they do work when you use a lot of it per panel and new towels per panel. I prefer PrepSol but the fumes knock me out doing an entire car.
I didn't find the odor as offensive but agree on about everything else. I use it on my wife's car mostly just because it does have that durability to go six months+.
if you ever worked in a body shop or industrial shop daily when your on your down time on weekends the fumes do get to you. the product does work awesome its just funny how old school it feels with the application and fumes which reminds of stuff from the early 1980s, does your wifes car stay outside and how has been the self cleaning durability over the 6 months so far if you can share? Il be testing this over the next 3 months to see how it does
Auto Fanatic, have you ever tried out or heard anything about Rejex polymer paint sealant?
I'd like to see you do a Glare review. On your black Alfa it would look wicked!
You should make your own line of PTFE products. Id buy them if it beads as good as fusso
I live in dusty country. Does soft99 also attract dust like magnet? I could freshly wax my car and have dust in matter of hour. But once I wash my car and not wax it again, there seems to be less dust
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who didn't quite get the hype of this stuff. I put it on my black Audi. Yeah it's good but its NOT the hype that surrounds it.
I have a question I am using megs ultimate paste wax for now its what I got free gonna use it seems pretty good I bough fast finish I try to use that in between I wanna know would i be able to use geyon wet coat on top of ultimate or even fast finish or stay away cuz that's sio2 ?
How does this fusso compared to meguiars ultimate paste?
I like Meguiars synthetic sealant or ultimate paste wax applied by machine.
Check out the SDS. It contains Toluene and a few other product that smell like acetone and kerosene. That is what you smell. I use it, because I like the traditional paste type products and I live here in Texas which is a lot warmer. Also in your review, you are using a thicker coat than use. Dampen your pad a bit with water and put it on super thin. But I use it also because I have found it to be more durable than any sio2 or graphene that is available to the consumer. It is not more durable than professional sio2. I found that there is a big difference.
What your thoughts on the collinite 876 as liquid alternative to the paste of 915
I’m one of the last wax loving guys left in the detailing hobby - we just lost Matt from OG this week. I like trying different waxes on my car. Coatings take away that fun for me
nothing wrong staying traditional, il put a video together one day outlining why i don't use coatings with valid good reasons but i feel there are so many sectors to this hobby and profession and it really depends what category you fall into. You see all these exotic cars being detailed in these pro shops with all this stuff and PPF yet those guys dont even wash their own cars or detail them and many barely drive them they just flatbed back to the detail shop every other week and it becomes a good business for most, I have many mega rich clients who pay me to do the same on specialty cars which is fine for business not so much for passion.
Auto Fanatic cant wait for that video!
Can't wait for that video because same here like old school detailing my cars . But been thinking of a coating .Make that video soon.
In this video i can see the difference in clarity 915 wins that i might try fusso i love collinite
give it a shot the stuff does work i just hosed my car off to get the salt dust and it was 100% self cleaning.
Zymol...havent heard that name in decades...just reminded me I think I have had some in the back of my fridge for the past 18 years..lol...wow..have to melt it in your hands first... White carnuba yellow blend...etc Do you remember hd cleanse? Wasnt that just a rubbing compound? Do you really need it for zymol to adhere? How is 915 compared to zymol. Obviously more than a third the cost. Besides cost....any thoughts?
can this be layered. So if I put it on and then 2 or 3 months coat it again is that something you suggest.
Recommend waxing at air temperatures between 55 degrees-80 degrees.
What temp was outside ? Dont carnuba waxed have to be used in worm weather only ....? At +1 celcius it did not even haze for me , i mean 99
Curious as to what your thoughts on p&s beadmaker is. I just ordered some and can’t wait to try it out.
my 007 is much easier and versatile to use, youll see
The wax seems to be acceptable.. that technique used to apply it looked to me a more excessive was to apply too much on the surface. I thought that was a lazy persons approach to applying wax- no offense.
I grew up in the same city where they produce collinite.. great wax hands down.
Thanks for the video.
Fusso is superb if you apply it right and thinly enough, less is more !!
I been using this exact product for the past 2 years. The correct way of applying this would be as follows,... Lightly mist application pad with water. Apply product lightly and do not let it stand more than 10 minutes. Temp and humidity plays a big part. If it hazes than you're letting it stand too long. Once again, temps and humidity plays a big part. You can reapply a second coat after it cures. It lasts at least 6 months for me. I live in Hawaii, tropical climate, salt air, acid rain, low temps as I live higher up in elevation, and all the other pollution that comes from our volcano. I have washed my microfiber towels, polishing pads and no smell lingers. I have used glasur glaze, coli845, auto finesse fusion, black fire wet diamond sealant, HD sealant, and none last as long as this. I still keep 845 and glasur in my collection though. As far as gloss, I have no idea why people say it doesn't shine, two of my Infiniti's are like mirrors. Then again it's all in the polishing and prep, not so much the protection. Down side of this product is that it will turn your black rubber white, and it has a strong chemical smell. All in all, I give it a 9 out of 10. Just don't apply it thick, and don't let it hazes too long or it will be like trying to rub off concrete.
In our area we sometimes we have damp frost or damp air at night and light rain. Then the damp partials marks the paint, looks dreadfull, not sure but it might work well in warm areas.
Have you compared it to GYEON Quartz Q²M Cure 400ml Silica Spray Sealant?
What do you use to maintain your car? I know you like the 915 but what do you use on your daily washes? Any spray wax or detailer you like?
my 007 Gloss Enhancer if you have not tried it pick some up and youll be very impressed after each wash. I have videos on my channel regarding this product
hi there your supposed to wet yur spomge then apply a thin layer and remove it before it hazes , if you have white dust it means you left it on too long...15 minutes is way too long to leave product on car ...in cold weather 4 minutes is enuff
No ceramic coatings for me.....it would take away from alone time with my car!😉
Mobey650 still gotta maintain Ceramic coatings. Just not as much
