Paul Rodger’s is one of the great frontman/vocalist in music. He has his own style of blues and soul. Bad Company shows that they can Rock and they can lay down a groove. That’s why they are a legendary and influential band.
@@jdw5678 Yet I rarely hear GLGB on the "classic rock stations" in the year 2024. Granted these stations do play some Bad Company, but not this particular song. GLGB was on my "burned to CD" music collection when I deployed to Iraq in 2004. 👍
I'm 72 years old, Bad Company was. one of the most popular bands of my college days in the early 70s. You could here their music blaring out of dorm windows as you walked across campus. This brings back memories I will cherish for ever!❤
I'm 67 myself and I had a couple of friends that had older Brothers your age!! It's how I discovered the Doors, my friend's older brother mentioned them when we were talking about our favorite bands!! When he mentioned them I sampled some and was a fan instantly!! Those were great times!!! Discovering music with so much different then!!
This is why I'm glad I was in my teens at this time. This was their 4th album and all four were great. Then add in the other artists and groups in the mid 70's and you always had something new coming out every few weeks. Great reaction guys.
Makes me so glad that I have been able to listen to this music and Paul Rodgers for all of these years! I’m 68 years old and I still am transfixed by this music.😊
Man, this takes me back to riding around as a boy in my Mom's Toyota Celica with this blasting on the 8 track installed in the center hump/console and the crappy stereo but it seemed amazing for the 70's ! So many awesome bands back in the day and Bad Company and Boston were some of my Mom's faves.
Crazy circles is my favorite bad company song. When that album came out it was on I listened to it all and I instantly knew the hit songs but I quickly determined crazy circles was my favorite on both the album and overall song of theirs
As always, the Robinsons are a rockin once again. Love the Jay's reaction to the base and Amber's riden the rhythm. Beautiful reactions as always. You always provide a great reaction.
This is my favorite Bad Co tune. Since you liked this one, you might enjoy The Firm’s “Radioactive”. I love Paul Rodgers’ vocals, and I think you’d enjoy the guitar work from Jimmy Page. The Firm was a true supergroup in 1985. 💜💜💜
These guys were so badass Live!! I'm so grateful I grew up in this time of truly exceptional diverse artists. These guys had the most memorable drum solos I've ever seen. Key word seen. I have been to Rush 5 times with Neal Peart. Bad Company showcased the drummer by members in a song slowly dropping to the side, eventually quieting to just the drummer. Like the end of burning sky. Then dry ice smoke began to pour out from the drum kit. And as it thickened so did drumming. But before it completly obscured him, he raised his arms and each drumstick had a laser pointer end that turned on! one green, one orange! Then he jumped back into solo and you watched the music as the two lasers pummelled the kit. Eventually the smoke completely engulfed the entire kit. You could only hear drum solo as you watched the two lasers piercing through the fog and shooting all across the ceiling of Lakeland Civic Center!!! OMG! IT WAS MINDBLOWING! Once solo ended the fog was cleared as the band rejoined and waved it off. Then they just jumped into next tune! I will never forget it!! They Rocked the House that Evening. It was Bad Company!!🎉🎉
Boomer! I love watching your reactions and seeing you both discover new stuff. I would love to see you discover Ray LaMontagne, particularly “Such a Simple Thing”. It’s slow so geared more towards Amber but it’s a beautiful song! God Bless!
This is one of my favorites by them... For whatever reason it doesn't get as much play as some of their other hits. Thank you for reviewing it! TURN UP THAT BASS!!! 😋 It reminds me of a description I heard of Uriah Heep's Abonminog album... "Rock-n-roll to peel the paint off the wall!" 🤘...or knock shelves off the wall...
Brian Howe was the lead singer from 1986-1994 for Bad Company. They had some really nice songs with Brian as singer.... If You Needed Somebody, Holy Water, and Walk Though Fire are an awesome beginning for you to hear Brian's voice.😀
Paul Rodgers & Robert Plant - My two favorite vocalists. Their voices are unmistakable. Paul has done a lot of solo albums & hooked up with other bands (The Law & The Firm) & Jimmy Page (a true guitar god). Another unique & haunting voice is Chris Isaak singing Wicked Game.
So, you two like Paul Rogers, you like a Jimmy Page, now it's time to listen to The Firm!. The songs Radioactive and Satisfaction Guaranteed are both great songs. It's a pity their second album didn't take off like the first.
Paul Rogers also played piano & guitar besides one of the best voices in rock. He also played with Jimmy Page in a band called The Firm. They put out 2 albums & had radio hits with a song called Radioactive.
Shoutout from beautiful lake Texoma! Luv you guys! Hope you're staying cool. Saw Lzzy last week in Dallas. If you get the chance, she doesn't disappoint.
Would love to see you guys react to ECHO BEACH - by Martha and the Muffins. It's one of my all time favourite one hit wonders. I know you will love it.
Bad Company, truly one of the best rock bands of the 70's. Song after great song! One of the songs you already reacted to (written by Mick Ralphs) is Ready For Love. But before Bad Company recorded, it was performed and recorded by Mick's previous band, Mott The Hoople. I would love for you to react to their version.
Another testament to the "genealogy" of great bands, with remnants of King Crimson, Mott the Hoople, and Free bringing Bad Co to life. Glad you guys picked this one because it's been missing from my playlist. Not anymore!
Jay & Amber, you'll love their "Silver Blue & Gold" and "Bad Company" !!!
Seconding this recommendation. It's sad but it's so good.
Probably my favorite song by them!!
Silver, Blue and Gold just proves that Paul Rodgers can sing anything!
No they won’t
@@detectagreed this Canuck don't know shittt
Whoever requested this song THANK YOU. I haven't heard this in such a long time.❤❤
My very first Rock & Roll concert 1977; Kalamazoo, Michigan/ Bad Company, The Outlaws & Dick Manitoba & The Dictators... 😊
Paul Rodger’s is one of the great frontman/vocalist in music. He has his own style of blues and soul. Bad Company shows that they can Rock and they can lay down a groove. That’s why they are a legendary and influential band.
"Good Lovin' Gone Bad" "Sweet Little Sister" and "Gone, Gone, Gone" are three more BC options that are worth a listen.
And Electricland.. my favorite
I totally agree with "Good Lovin' Gone Bad". 👍 i can't believe it wasn't a much bigger hit than it was. It's probably my favorite BC song.
"Good Lovin' Gone Bad" is a classic template of '70s hard rock. A staple of FM rock radio back then.

This song is one of the main reasons I wore out this album. Great memories, indeed!
70's music was untouchable.
I'm 69 yrs old and I agree "Bad Company" was a great group. They were a Bad group, in a great way.
Can't believe you still haven't heard the song Bad Company. You will love it!
70s bass has all ways been 🔥fire ROCK BASS 🔥FUNK BASS Heres a little proff 1977
Paul Rogers is in the discussion as the GOAT. Top 5 for sure.
Absolutely a beast vocalist 🤘🤘❤️❤️
Easily, I mean how many singers has he influenced???? 😮
@danielmankowski922 and he is NOT in the HOF.
The GOAT!!! 👏👏Absolutely! Love Paul!
Led Zeppelin produced their first album (Swan Song label owned by Zep)
Bad Company is 1 of my all time favorite bands. Thank you for listening to this. Sending❤ from Kentucky
Mine too , seen them several times live through the years.
I used to work with a guy who had BadCo tattooed on his knuckles
Of the many great bands Lynyrd Skynyrd performed with, Paul Rogers was Ronnie Van Zant's all-time favorite singer.
Cool....agreed! From Kentucky as well!
I'm from Kentucky to the Lexington area.@@Hobodeluxe007
Bad Company, Bad Company

Boz Burrell wrote this song!
You guys need to do "Bad Company"!
Bad Company is just one of those bands that have no bad songs, can be a deep cut or one of their more popular songs. Paul's vocals are stellar!
Well, up until Paul Rogers left. I'm not really a fan of them after that.
You know it's a killer song when it starts tearing up the house....literally.
🤘💀
😆 🤣 😂 😊😊😊 True!!
PARANORMAL CAUGHT ON CAMERA! with that shelf falling 😲
That was so damn funny!!! LOL

70s TRUTH
Makes me so glad that I have been able to listen to this music and Paul Rodgers for all of these years! I’m 68 years old and I still am transfixed by this music.😊
One of the top 5 voices in rock. For some their favorite.
And one of the few who sounds just as great today!
"Bad Company" by Bad Company, that's the song you need to hear next!
Bad Company by Bad Company from the album Bad Company should be next.
Yeah, gotta agree.
I don't believe you've heard their namesake, "Bad Company"!
Truly their best IMHO.
I fully agree!
Bad Company is Good Company for your headphones 🎧 sit back and enjoy! Peace✌️ and Love❤️ your 70 year old forever hippie Gary😊 great reaction 🤣

No Smoke Without a Fire
Are we the same person? For awhile I was wandering if anyone else loved Holy Water & If You Needed Somebody
Guys, “Good Lovin Gone Bad” has got to be next. Really great riff
I don't know how a British singer got this much soul, but DAM!
@@ws3764 The British singer that just oozes soul was Steve Winwood!
Ozzie Osbourne - " Bark At The Moon " + " No More Tears (Official Video) 🎸 80s and 90s Heavy Metal Jams. You're gonna Rock to these 2 songs

Sooner or later, or later, you'll get to the song, Bad Company, by the group Bad Company
Which album is that on? ; )
Paul Rodgers is the best lead singer in the history of rock and roll.
Now THIS music, I could sit at a bar and drink with some friends all night. Thanks for this RSR family.
When the notification came for this I got chills up my spine
I love this one...and awesome review, as always.
I'm not sure why but this brought back to my mind the song 'Those Shoes' from The Eagles. Another good one!
Please do Silver, Blue & Gold! You will be glad you did.
Man I haven't heard this in years! I love it! I never knew the actual name of the song.
So many hits by this group "Feel like making love", "Good Lovin gone bad", "Ready for Love" , "Shooting Star", "Bad Company", and so many more !

One of the soundtrack bands of my youth
🤣🤣 Bad Company be rocking the house!!!!!
They have done Rock n Roll Fantasy,Movin On,Rock Steady,Ready For Love,Shooting Star.
My first time hearing this track. I was able to react along with you guys.
Soulful hard rock. Hmmmmmmmm.
Back in the day, greatest hits albums were a big part of the record business. Bad Company’s 10 from 6 is as good as it gets.
The best Rock singer of all time
By far my favorite song by this incredible band - awesome reaction!!
Have this on my playlist!!
That album is a must own for any true fan of Rock & Roll.
WOW - YA'LL have picked some more FIRE SONGS, TODAY!!! :) THANKS for MAKIN' MY SUNDAY!!! LOVE some BAD CO!!! Have a HAPPY DAY!! HUGS!

They've also got a song called Bad Company y'all might want to check out. Also, their song Runnin' With The Pack is a good one, too.
Amber & Jay U guys need to react to Bad Company's Song called Bad Company!!!! U guys will like that one.
Bad Company by Bad Company is amazing! (Quake Hold Museum Wax might help with those pesky shelves!)
Great reaction, guys. Love the distant-sounding guitar at the beginning and at the end. Unique!
Great reaction guys. Jay, that's Buz Burrell on bass. "Good Lovin' Gone Bad' & "Running With The Pack" are two good ones to react next. Thanks. 😎
Gone Gone Gone needs to be on the menu for Bad Co songs.

Amber, at the end mentioned the lead guitar. You got to listen to it again and pay attention to the lead guitar, it rocks.
Boomer! I love watching your reactions and seeing you both discover new stuff. I would love to see you discover Ray LaMontagne, particularly “Such a Simple Thing”. It’s slow so geared more towards Amber but it’s a beautiful song! God Bless!
My favorite Bad Company song is "Seagull"!!!!!!!
I still play that on my 12-string.
I saw them on the tour that followed this album. It was at the old Fabulous Forum in L.A., and it was a great show.
This song is actually fire

The inimitable Paul Rogers. It says a lot when you're Freddie Mercury's favorite singer.

Boz Burrell is the bass player for Bad Company at this point. He's among the greatest to ever touch the instrument.
You guys are the best
Yes!!!
So, you two like Paul Rogers, you like a Jimmy Page, now it's time to listen to The Firm!. The songs Radioactive and Satisfaction Guaranteed are both great songs. It's a pity their second album didn't take off like the first.
Another killer bass line I think you guys might like is "Too Rolling Stoned" by Robin Trower.
Paul Rogers is easily a top five rock singer. Bad Company is Bad Ass.
Boz Burrell on bass, formerly of King Crimson. He can bring the bottom end.
One of my 5 favorite Bad Co songs to play the drums too & just a cool album
The song, “. Master of Ceremony “.
Paul Rogers also played piano & guitar besides one of the best voices in rock. He also played with Jimmy Page in a band called The Firm. They put out 2 albums & had radio hits with a song called Radioactive.
Hear Paul Rodgers at his best on "Seagull"
I can't believe someone hasn't used a sample of this in some commercial somewhere yet!! The riff is awesome! Knocks pictures right off the wall!
Shoutout from beautiful lake Texoma! Luv you guys! Hope you're staying cool. Saw Lzzy last week in Dallas. If you get the chance, she doesn't disappoint.
Boz Burrell fretless bass bustin the wall, lol. Boz could sing as he was a vocalist in the late 60s did some singles with members of Deep Purple.
Bad Company to the day I die. You have to do Bad Company, off of Bad Company album from Bad Company. I think its one of their best songs
Jaye, you need to learn how to play the bass yourself bro! You are OBSESSED! 😂🤘🏻

GREAT ARTIST THEY DID A LOT !!! DONT FORGET THEM IN THE FUTURE !!!
Simple man by bad company is one of my favorites, silver blue and gold is another. Rock on Rob Squad 🎸
Been waiting for a long time for you guys to hear this one. ❤
The bassist, Boz Burrell, played a fretless bass quite often and was playing one when I saw them live in 1978!❤❤❤
