Great Saturday Professor Karen. I think both you and Dr. Carr are beautiful. When I say beautiful I would never reduce you down to physical attributes, that fade away, beauty is eternal. You and Dr. Carr are beautiful to me because since the first episode I saw of "In Class with Carr" I have become more liberated mentally, intellectually, and spiritually. True beauty reaches into another person and pulls that person's beauty up to match with their own. Professor Karen look at how many people both you and Dr. Carr have pulled up. For me that is what beauty is and what real beauty does. Thank you Professor Karen.
Would you believe my 7 year old grandson came to my house on Saturday for normal weekend stay over, when he saw the earphones in my ears, he asked, are you listening to Dr. Carr? Thank You Dr. Carr and Professor Hunter for sharing this Knowledge and having great conversations, stories that quench our longing for knowing who we are; growing up in Barbados I read a lot but mostly Enid Blyton, Hardy Boys, then Jane Eyre etc. It gives me great pleasure to know that my grandchildren will have access to who we are. Thank You 🙏🏿 🇧🇧 🇦🇬
I throughly enjoy these Saturday sessions because there's so much in Blackness that it cannot be covered in focusing on just one issue. Thank you Sister Queen Karen Hunter and Brother King Dr. Greg Carr for the real, raw conversations that provoke and challenge us to change and freedom!
The eloquenes of Dr. Carr when tells a story or sings even when he is I can I say vexed, he is my favorite black man on this planet Ashe' God keep and protect Dr. Carr. 🙏🏾🙏🏾✊🏾✊🏾💙💜💜💜💙
“When a white person shakes your hand, he is trying to frisk you” feel you out and interrogate you! But when a person of African decent embraces you,it’s out of love, compassion and respect! Dr. Carr that was definitely a GEM you just dropped today. I never thought about it like that. As you can see, I add my context to what you just illuminated!! Thanks again Karen and Dr. Carr, for bringing this much needed discussion forward! I am 52 years old on February 28 and I have learned more about our contributions to this world, on this platform, then then my entire time in the Euro-centric MIS-education system!!! Thanks again and much love and respect for you both!!
Thank you Dr. Greg Carr Love you. I will be 81 years old in 2 months. Since listening to you and Professor Hunter is why not only are we getting educated about out great History around the World. God Bless both of you 💝.
@@augustusb3501 I did also on Monday. I will begin it after I complete Zora Neale Hurstons "You don't know us Negroes", which takes you back to your roots
Professor Hunter and Dr. Carr are my life line on Saturdays. The way they have expanded my mind has been more valuable and influential than all my years of education up to my Master's program. I send my sincerest gratitude for this forum.
Another great episode!😊👍🏾👏🏾 I love learning. Thank you Professor Karen and Dr. Carr for sharing our black history and also tie it to global history around the world. This information is very important!
"Don't let them knock that pitcher out your hand when you're pouring them a clean glass of water." 1:47:15 Love, focus, sobriety, persistence, a strong grip... so much required to hold on to the truth and also let it out. Let's get it.
Good Morning from Greece, moonrising where I am. Blessings. Thankyou Prof.Hunter and Dr. Carr. Especially for dropping gliittering suns and keys with Howard French reminded me to look back to Edward Said's book Orientalism. I so appreciate so much world changing scholarship to continue growing with .
I just want to say thank you Dr. Carr and Professor Hunter for all what you do for the Whole entire Diaspora thank you for your dedication and your sacrifices.
Each Saturday, I look forward to seeing Professor Hunter and Dr. Carr. I feel more empowered each week. Dr. Carr connects the lessons with life beautifully. Thank you, Dr. Carr for my good laugh, "funky Portuguese." 🤣
I am surprised that people complain about the tangents...Dr. Carr ALWAYS brings us back on the road AND ALWAYS gives us diamonds and gold along the way. You wanna miss the extra millions in jewels he is dropping along the way?
Dr. Carr, this labor and love origin you are talking about, reminds me of the famous Ozzie Davis speech in School Daze - "The essence of looooove is to labor for something... One loves for that which one labors and one labors for that which one loves."
OMG!! Years ago I STOP shaking peoples hands and was told "in professional settings you will need to"...No I didn't then and for sure not now. But had no knowledge that that was a thing..(Frisking)..Yes. Heard him yesterday, Howard French (through you) and order his book just now. Thank you again Professor.
I watched the Kayne West Doc jeen - yuhs. Donna West was his backbone. I admired how she schooled him throughout his life. It was the most touching part of the documentary. R.I.P. Donna
I know better so now I do better. I will never tire of saying thank you! Class was wonderful in knubia this morning! Thank you Professor Hunter and Dr. Carr. 🙏🏽❤🖤💚✊🏾
After watching today’s episode, I have a better understanding now why the global minority is so upset and angry now. They understand that all what they did to us is starting to dissipate and they hated with a passion!!! This is a physical and spiritual warfare that we didn’t create. Knowing what we know now we are going to have a continue to educate ourselves have a strategy and a plan of action. This is why Knubia and Knarrative is so vital for the Diaspora to be part of in my opinion.
Thank you both so much for these sessions!!! The Asian conversation reminded me of a former Asian colleague who came into the office and told us what they put the fiancé through, he had to impress her friends and family, so many customs! I was floored!!!
‘Twas beautiful to hear about Lisa whom I have had the honor and pleasure of performing with while we were both in Stomp together. Thank you professor Hunter & Dr Carr for all you share to enhance our bricks.
Good morning, Dr. Karen Hunter and Dr. Greg Carr; I was hoping I would be online with Knarrative as I have become a member. But I understand there is an approval process. So hopefully I’ll be on the other side and into Knarrative
Dr. Wade Noble says the type of or love we should be looking for is called ZOLA. Again, another great broadcast! You both are just wonderful! Keep up the excellent work!!! ASE
my mind is blown too Karen? I never thought about the significance of 'shaking hands' before, until Dr. Carr explained what it means to the Europeans! And now I question myself, I will no longer reach my hand out to greet anyone ever again, I'm not shaking anyone down, and now I know that it means a lack of trust, if I don't trust you, then I'm not rubbing off that dust of evil on my hands ever again...smh...lol...brilliance has been digested!

I love the show. To Dr. Carr's point, the most important part of intellectual "cooking" is in the simmering, allowing all the ingredients to mesh.
I listen to Dr. Carr and Professor Hunter all day but I know y'all have your own private lives thank you thank you love you both 💜💙💖

Right Belinda! Chu referenced the Obama’s. She wanted empathy for the murderer, not the victim. Fake tears and all. Smh
