Bendon's control is very very good, he is really someone who helps the other in sparring.
100% he knows how to push each individual to their own limit, that is a a good sparring partner/coach

I trained kickboxing 8 years in korea, and i was so surprised when i had a sparring in Spain. All of teammates were trying to kill me. I never had hard sparring in korea (cuz we concerned about injury). Eventually my ribs are broken by a heavyweight partner (im approximately 65kg)... This video reminds me that day 😱😱

We hard spar in our Muay Thai class but I just never understood what the point, it’s fun but any injury like a broken rib should only happen during a real fight if you choose to compete. Not during an ego match in class.
There are many cocky dudes in Spain. It is a shame. They should be called out and banned if they continue. But most gym coachs are also toxic so it is difficult.
What a treat to watch. Incredible skill and control. This is what hard sparring should look like. No ego, just helping each other learn.

My man in the blue was a bit narrow and bouncy like a boxer, I’m used to boxing too but would get my legs freggin destroyed when I tried making my self less of a target. He manages well with that boxer stance and his lead kick was sharp, I plan on sharing this with my coach and saying “ See, it is possible “ 😆
Yeh its not traditional in a muay thai or kickboxing perspective but he competes in mma so the stance is different (think he boxed before)

Mma stance...hybrid of karate/tae kwon do and boxing or kickboxing is more comfortable for me as well.

Dark skinned fellow in the beginning seems to have very minimal hip and torso turning when kicking, which doesn't seem to be a problem for his power output, I'm sure it makes balance and defence easier.

listen to your coach thats all you need to do and just turn up at the gym. the rest will take care of itself

Hey man, I'm moving to Amsterdam soon, and I want to learn the Dutch style of Kickboxing. However, I know they spar real hard, and I want to avoid the head trauma, any advice??
just find the right gym that don't push you to do that, or just take some regular classes rather than the fighters class? there is a lot of good coaches so im sure they will work with you on that.
Depends on the gym. I would advice visit several gyms and take a try out lesson. I live in the Netherlands and my trainer keeps tellin us not to spar hard to the head. It’s not everywhere in the Netherlands where sparring hard is the standard. Hope you find a good gym👊🏾

Gloves just seem huge, and we are new to this.
@@LincolnWoodworks 16oz is the go to for sparring some may use 14s or 18s but 16s is most often the size used.
