This was the song that my brother introduced me to Patty Griffin to when I was 20 years old 27 years ago or maybe 24…we grew up poor…Patty sings songs for us.
I wish there was a way to describe they way her old stuff resonates with something inside. Her song writing is amazing, and her voice brings the emotion of the song like few others can manage. I wish I had discovered her many many years ago.
