    I hope you'll do a second video with the wineries, perhaps another one with the excursions you might do to Aconcagua National Park, Potrerillos, Uspallata, Villavicencio.
    I left Bodega Lopez with five bottles of winein my backpack, and then visited Bodega Giol, and did another wine tasting. The museum of Wine was just across the street, but closed for a private event. I enjoyed it, even with the extra weight I carried, LOL.

      Hi Myriam! Funny you mention it. I did actually START filming a wine video, but after 15 minutes, my camera just died and I couldn't turn it back on. It was extremely frustrating, and I wasn't able to get footage the rest of the day. So very sadly, there will be no full wine video about Mendoza. But I'm glad you got a ton of good stuff! :)

    We want to go spend a few months in Mendoza, as a possible retirement city. We will. likely stay downtown in the middle of everything, but as far as long term, we are wondering about the countryside. Seems like in Cordoba, people go to the Sierras to live. Does Mendoza have some nice areas in the countryside that we may want to check out ?....hopefully close to a bus route and not too too far from the city....??? Thanks !

      Hey Erin- Absolutely! It's very easy to walk around in. It's also quite easy to take the bus, or train to Maipu. You don't need a car. The only thing a car would be great for, is to go hiking outside of the city. But within the city itself, you'll have no issues. I walked everywhere there. Took the bus to Cacheuta thermal baths, and the train to Maipu for wine tastings.

    • @NickiPostsTravelStuff
      @NickiPostsTravelStuff  Год назад

      Good question. I do speak Spanish so it wasn't an issue for me really. But I really don't think it would be bad. I met several English speaking people there, and it is very likely that anyone working with hospitality speaks a bit of English at least. Plus people are really nice there. So even if you can't speak Spanish, just smiling and laughing with them will go a long way! :)
