❤❤ To the babes with 4c hair : Shrinking, stretching, bending with grace, A work of art, no brush could replace. The world may not always see its glow, But within, it holds a radiant soul. Twist it, braid it, let it flow, Crown it with beads, let confidence grow. It sings a song of heritage true, Of queens before, and queens anew.
I did cut my mid back length hair into shoulder length bob earlier in the year. Now my hair is at armpit at this moment. I noticed the growth from washing my hair weekly , with deep conditioning. Afterwards I use a leave in & cream to style my hair. I agree with keeping it simple and leaving your hair alone it will grow. I try my best to keep up with my quarterly trims.
That sounds like a good and simple routine you have for your hair. I honestly believe that our hair routines should be simple and easy to manage without lagging which is what happens most of the time. Easy but few key steps to follow and your hair will thrive and grow. Thank you for sharing❤️
Hi there, your routine is pretty neat! I pre-poo once monthly shampoo every 2 weeks moisturize, seal every 4 days, scalp messages every other evening ❤
My hair stops growing. I wash my hair once month. I used aloe juice and at end of my hair I used Jamaican black pure butter and i used Doo Gro oil . I love your hair . Thank u for your information
I truly believe our hair is always growing. You may not be seeing the length retention part which is absolutely what i experience most of the times. I learnt that my hair has a slow rate of growing even when I put it in along term protective style. Maybe you will need to try putting most of your effort on your scalp care- try massaging your scalp and cleaning your scalp more than once a month or you up your game on moisturizing while it’s in a protective style
I love the simplicity of your routine. Your hair is beautiful. Continue doing what you're doing as it works for you. A Blessed and Happy New Year to you and your family 🎉.
I love your hair😍. I normally keep my hair in a protective style conrows/mini braids so i wash it once a month to be honest. If i follow this wash day routine you shared what can i do in between to help my hair grow?
Thank you so much. I think you can scalp massages in between, keep hair moisturized at all times. I am soon sharing a video how I keep my hair in cornrows for months so stay tuned
I have a question, you said you keep your hair in like 4 braids for about a week. Is there a video that you have with the type of style you are talking about? Like how do you style your hair to go to work? Does it also mean you never do protective styles like small braids or anything like that?
I have videos on mini braids and braids in general. Check out a video titled “ hair grease on my type 4 hair” this video shows how I styled my hair in four chunky braids and I took them out after a couple of days. And the video on how to grow my edges, that’s how I wear my hair for the most part. I also work from home so how I wear my hair in my videos is how I wear it to go to work.
You’re definitely at my current hair goal! But after doing an aphogee protein treatment I had a horrible setback… and blow drying my hair (with very tight coils + the tangles created by the “treatment”) is very painful for me and before I was never tenderheaded for 17 years of my life until earlier this year when my braids were put into a bun by my classmate. I’m honestly feeling very sad about it, and feel very sensitive in the scalp. I’m not sure what to do to maintain hair that puffs up so much (even when straightened) and is at a mid-semi short hair length after a bad haircut. Any tips? I feel like just wearing head wraps and luckily my sister now knows how to cornrow
I am sorry that you went through that horrible set back. I remember awhile back I went through a similar thing though I didn’t know why my scalp was all of a sudden tender and super sensitive. I think stress also causes it because I couldn’t figure out why all of the sudden my hair became thin and my scalp in pain. I think do the bare minimum for a while and give your hair a break in a safe and not a tight style- where you can still access your hair and clean your scalp. Pay attention to the health and care of your scalp for now. Make sure your scalp and hair stays moisturized at all times. I am going to try putting my hair in cornrows too for the first time to see if it’s a style I can keep for the most part of 2025. I will be sharing a video on that soon in the next year. I will share more tips so keep tuned in. I think you get your hair back to where you want it to be.
You're supposed to let the protein dry hard, then break the cast by rinsing it all out, and you have to follow up with a deep contioner for a few minutes. I do this all the time and my hair feels perfect! I literally just did this yesterday. And I'm east african with tight 4c maybe 4z hair incase you're doubting me lol.

@@BarbaraBirungiSunflowerWhat does your prepoo with oil do for your hair?
Washing weekly is high manipulation to me
@jk9084 Ok that’s fine do what works best for you. I have seborrheic dermatitis so I have to wash my hair weekly.

You too have a simple routine. Scalp massages are ones I want to improve because I am not consistent.

Thank you so much! Happy new year😍
Your hair has a glittery look. How did you achieve that?
Sorry the glittery look is just oils. I oiled my hair to stay stretched like you see in the video.
Beautiful hair!! 😍😍😘😘
Thank you so much 😀
Wow your density and length have improved so much. I’m so happy for you and hopeful for me. 😂❤
Thank you so much. I am hopeful that you will achieve it too.

So pretty shiny and sparkly looking ❤❤
I had oiled my hair and stretched it out that’s why it sparkles😃Thank you so much❤️
Your hair looks like it has diamonds in it 🥹😍
The compliment 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Hahaha 😃it’s oil. I like to keep my hair with oils when it’s stretched.
I have never read anything like it. It was awesome 😍
beautiful hair!!
Thank you! Cheers!
hi girl,
thank you for your content
do you do protective style?
Hello there! Yes I do! Thank you for your support on my channel❤️
Yes I do!
What are those sparkles in your hair ?
I think the sparkles are oils actually. When my hair is stretched, I apply oils to maintain it in this stretched form.
Beautiful lady & hair. I have to try pre poo one of these days.
Pre-poo will be a game changer for your hair. Let me know once you try😉

@@foreverrebecca8417her result has nothing to do with 4c, it's about the hair's porosity and protein sensitivity.
What hair growth pill would you recommend?
I don’t have a particular pill I know or have used but I thinking eating food that are rich especially food that contain protein. Eat a lot of protein
How old is your hair?❤❤
7 years now or is it 8? It’s around this !
