I watched this film every day as a teenager, and it brings such lovely memories and feelings of that time in my life when i watch it now and its stood the test of time. Whitney was just so stunning, and Kevin so handsome just brilliant
Whitney and Kevin had a tremendous chemistry that made this movie one of the greatest of bittersweet love stories. The sound track itself is enormous, just adding to the talent of Whitney and the magnetic respect each had for one another. Costner’s eulogy at her funeral was evidence of this. I have watched the movie three times and anticipate seeing it again! ♥️. PS…Had race been brought up, I would have not watched it to completion. Both actors deserve accolades on their professionalism, merit, and talent, which has absolutely nothing to do with the color of their skin.

I am glad I got to hear the greatest voice of our lifetimes. Thank God that voice was recorded for generations to hear. In her prime nobody could touch Whitney Houstons voice.
The Bodyguard is the most beautiful film I've ever seen, and Whitney and Kevin and the rest of the cast were wonderful. Pitty she passed away so young and with such a beautiful voice.
I think Costner had deep feelings for Whitney and I think she was treated so well that she was capable to act out as needed in the movie. They connected enough and it shows ...
@@rubendaniel7408 why don't you just comment on the reply rather than being a creepy stalker. Judy obviously doesn't appreciate your intrusion. If you have done this 65 times I think she should report you to Utube and possibly the police!!

Just pure magic. Whitney and Kevin , the chemistry between them will forever be memorable. Deep in my heart I could feel a depth of love that is so rich. When Whitney passed, this movie flashed through my mind and tears welled up and flowed over my lower eyelids in great profusion. I felt now that something in my life was lost and missing. I had hoped for a Bodyguard II that would be even greater with the same characters and actors. Thank you Kevin, Whitney and the gang that helped in the making of this movie. Whitney may you rest in peace and in the mercy and grace of Jesus our almighty Saviour. May you have the happiness in Heaven that you didn't have here. To those presenting this documentary, I am indebted to you and I thank you and this channel for bringing it to our attention. Farewell !
In 1993, I went to see the movie in a theater with a friend in Atlanta. Can't believe that I watched the whole movie once again on Blu-ray last night, 29 years later.
I love the movie!Especially the soundtrack ! Such great acting! I'm soo sad Whitney had passed away.Such a beauty and sooo talented! There will never be another Whitney! Will always be remembered never forgotten!❤️🙏
My heart is breaking as I watch this to think such a gifted and immeasurable talent came to the tragic end that she did. I believe I'm going to dig it out and watch it again tonite.
Just like I would never see a remake of old movies that made history ( Weithering heights, gone with the wind…) I will never see a remake of Bodyguard. Kevin Costner and Withney Houston made it too powerful. Impossible to top.
I know that actors are suppose to project their feelings and emotions in a movie to make it as real as possible. That said, the chemistry between Kevin and Whitney is off the chart. Kevin admitted in The Oprah show that he has fallen for Whitney in real life. That's much is clearly evident in the movie.
My gorgeous favorite actor, Kevin Costner...The Bodyguard will forever be my favorite movie because it was a great story but mainly because the chemistry between Whitney and Kevin was beyond impressive and even after she died we see Kevin totally devastated...I don't think eithet had to struggle learning the script!!! R.I.P dear Whitney we Will always miss you.... On an aside there is a hacker advertising himself as Kevin Costner....i nearly fell for it but i smelt a rat and todo him so.... . Kevin torally
I read in a bonus chapter of "On My Way to Hollywood" the actor named Roman Castle mentioned Robert Deniro sending Whitney gifts. Cissy wasn't having it and put everything into a box and sent it back. That book was a page-turner that left me wanting more. And I'm not a big reader. LOL
Kevin was the actor here and because of his professional skill, his care and patience, Whitney could do this and she did a GREAT job too!!! BRAVO. AND HER SINGING always stupendous.
I will always love this movie. Kevin Costner is my all time favourite actor, and Whitney Houston was the best female singer in the world. Perfect match.
30 years later and it still stands the test of time and has entered into Hollywood contemporary legend. I used to watch this movie over and over again when it came out that I realized that the actor who plays Rachel's stalker, the one with her photos in his locker, he's the dad of two kids that was in the high school band with me. Suddenly, he shows up for one of the shows to help us out and, holy crap, that's the creepy guy that says "Nooooo" in the movie. He was also in Dances With Wolves but I just remember him from The Bodyguard. He was very nice so not a creepy guy LOL. Pretty crazy how some things just stand out when you least expect it. 😎👍
@@Badmanruth Yeah, we've had some great artists come from my school so it's pretty cool knowing some of them and others I happen to be fans of their music. I just get a kick out of Tony saying "Noooo", creeps me out and yet makes me laugh too.
@@pamelajohnson7813 No, it's not him. It's the stalker who was obsessed with Rachel. He's the one that says "Nooooo" when the police question him. That actor's name is Tony Pierce and he was also in Dances With Wolves and Near Dark.
Great film. I went to see this with friends at university when it was released. We all loved that film so much. The soundtrack was at number 1 in the UK for weeks in 1992/3!
One of my all-time favorite movies!! They couldn't have gotten anyone better, these two were the movie!! Whitney was such a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul and a beautiful voice!!
It looks like behind the scenes was made at the time of the movie. I am just seeing this now and hadn’t seen interviews with them. I was very pleased to hear that neither of them wanted the “race” thing explained! Beautiful! It was two people who fell in love. Period! That is real life! In this film where the attraction was so strong it would not have made sense. There was no ‘splainin’ to be done.
He is color blind...that's one of the reasons I respect him as a person ...he seems to see that person not thier color...people like that make this world a more bearable place to be...
I think the timing of this film ended up being spot on because the talent in front of and behind the camera made this film very special and it still holds up 30 years later. Miss you Queen.
My severe PTSD STILL has me fighting back the tears at the point Kevin Costner takes that bullet on the stage for Whitney Houston, every single time, I just can't help it, it's just so emotional and I love the movie so much. And I truly miss Whitney 💞

"I WILL always love her" ~ Kevin Costner awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww made me choke up, so precious.
Can u imagine how a remake would look like post 2020?? My lord- *please* don’t remake this.. ever! This movie is sublime, I remember seeing this at the theater!
I am glad I got to hear the greatest voice of our lifetimes. Thank God that voice was recorded for generations to hear. In her prime nobody could touch Whitney Houstons voice.
She was great! You might like AJ at 15!?
Not ever in 2023
Just goes to show how useless reviews and critics are. This movie still stands the test of time. Multigenerational love affirms it’s excellence.
Yes, critics are clueless.
Whitney Houston is beautiful in this movie. She did a great job. The chemistry between these two was strong ❤
I loved seeing how Kevin Costner was all giddy around Whitney Houston, you can tell he was attracted to her lol, so cute.
The Bodyguard is the most beautiful film I've ever seen, and Whitney and Kevin and the rest of the cast were wonderful. Pitty she passed away so young and with such a beautiful voice.
*pity*
This was Absolutely, One of the best dramatic films Of all time, Whitney & Kevin were simply superb together In the making of the Bodyguard
I think Costner had deep feelings for Whitney and I think she was treated so well that she was capable to act out as needed in the movie. They connected enough and it shows ...
Yes
Hello Judy,How are you doing?
@@rubendaniel7408 why do I always find guys like you that creep over women's comments??? You did this 65 times????
@@rubendaniel7408 why don't you just comment on the reply rather than being a creepy stalker. Judy obviously doesn't appreciate your intrusion. If you have done this 65 times I think she should report you to Utube and possibly the police!!
@@fionabooth1816 I second that
Whitney had this way of making it look so effortless when she really nails it. That is the sign of true greatness.
One of the most beautiful and talented woman EVER ! She was gorgeous and that voice was indescribable and will never be again . Horrible loss , HORRIBLE! It’s very upsetting that she went awry .
I absolutely adored the movie and never tire of of the soundtrack. I'll never forget seeing it in the theater.
KEVIN COSTNER IS A BEAUTIFUL MAN...AND WHITNEY WAS A BEAUTIFUL SINGER..THIS MOVIE WOULD NOT BE THIS MOVIE IF IT HAD NOT BEEN FOR BOTH OF THEM...SUCH A GREAT MOVIE..
Facts ‼️
Farewell !
Belas palavras. Concordo plenamente com você.
Beautifully said ❤
im an englishman in england, with lots of british actors i like, but kevin sure is my favourite american one
"HER RACE WAS STAR".....I Love that for these Beauties!
I love this comment!
Loved the Bodyguard. Love Kevin Costner madly since forever. Witney, what a voice. Gone far, far too soon.. Love them both.
Hello Patricia, How are you doing?
In 1993, I went to see the movie in a theater with a friend in Atlanta. Can't believe that I watched the whole movie once again on Blu-ray last night, 29 years later.
I love the movie!Especially the soundtrack !
Such great acting!
I'm soo sad Whitney had passed away.Such a beauty and sooo talented! There will never be another Whitney!
Will always be remembered never forgotten!❤️🙏
Powerful acting by Kevin Costner.❤ Whitney always stunning ❤
Kevin is just a natural. He's a rare talent.
she was 2 :(
@@sandraspec1al She did a great job
"Smitten" is the word that describes both of them. At least Whitney was able to receive true and healthy love from Kevin in her lifetime.
😭🧡
I love them together 😀 next life we will see them again as a couple! We will remember!!! My visions are strong!
Yes I agree,, smitten is the word 👍
They were never romantically involved in real life, just became close friends.
My heart is breaking as I watch this to think such a gifted and immeasurable talent came to the tragic end that she did. I believe I'm going to dig it out and watch it again tonite.
R I P Gene Siskel ...
Just like I would never see a remake of old movies that made history ( Weithering heights, gone with the wind…) I will never see a remake of Bodyguard. Kevin Costner and Withney Houston made it too powerful. Impossible to top.
Whitney was such a natural actor. So gifted in many ways.
I know that actors are suppose to project their feelings and emotions in a movie to make it as real as possible. That said, the chemistry between Kevin and Whitney is off the chart. Kevin admitted in The Oprah show that he has fallen for Whitney in real life. That's much is clearly evident in the movie.
She was my first crush because of this movie. I was like 10 haha. Just watched it again tonight and yup, still there.
My gorgeous favorite actor, Kevin Costner...The Bodyguard will forever be my favorite movie because it was a great story but mainly because the chemistry between Whitney and Kevin was beyond impressive
and even after she died we see Kevin totally devastated...I don't think eithet had to struggle learning the script!!! R.I.P dear Whitney we Will always miss you....
On an aside there is a hacker advertising himself as Kevin Costner....i nearly fell for it but i smelt a rat and todo him so....
.
Kevin torally
Whitney gone too soon. Most beautiful voice ever. I miss her
I read in a bonus chapter of "On My Way to Hollywood" the actor named Roman Castle mentioned Robert Deniro sending Whitney gifts. Cissy wasn't having it and put everything into a box and sent it back. That book was a page-turner that left me wanting more. And I'm not a big reader. LOL
Yes! I would believe it
Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston ❤ a beautiful movie 🎥
I was in Paris when I saw billboards with the Bodyguard movie for the first time. Nice memory.
They were in love, they both loved each other but was trying to make their marriages work. Luv Whitney beautiful person inside and out.
For some unknown reason I get emotional every time I watch this movie. Such a great story.
One of the most beautiful movies of all time. RIP Whitney
Kevin was the actor here and because of his professional skill, his care and patience, Whitney could do this and she did a GREAT job too!!! BRAVO. AND HER SINGING always stupendous.
Yep Kevin was definitely in love with Whitney.
You can see it in his eyes when he looks at her.
It’s hard to watch someone who was so talented fall apart - RIP Whitney.
I will always love this movie. Kevin Costner is my all time favourite actor, and Whitney Houston was the best female singer in the world. Perfect match.
She was so pretty in this movie. Makes me so sad that she's gone. 😢😢😢
This film was ahead of its time
Just saw this movie and just fell in love with it again 😢
I smile everytime Whitney smiles in this video. She's so pretty.
Back when they made GREAT movies...
@@sidekick4 My thought exactly!!
Actually, at that time, there were no other movies that met that level of greatness IMO .
Back when there was no PC garbage
Great movies and great music ❤💯
I have laughed and laughed at this comment. How cool! ❤❤Thanks for sharing.
@@Badmanruth Yeah, we've had some great artists come from my school so it's pretty cool knowing some of them and others I happen to be fans of their music. I just get a kick out of Tony saying "Noooo", creeps me out and yet makes me laugh too.
Yes, I agree. The network works
I can't find Mike Starr, who played, Tony in the Bodyguard, anywhere in the list of cast for, Dances With Wolves. What part did he play? TIA
Whitney was such a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul and a beautiful voice!!
the movie, Whitney, Kevin all bring back such bittersweet memories of that era. Still heartbroken about my favorite Jersey Girl gone too soon.
LOVE how Kevin Costner didn't want it to be about race!
Yes agree 💯 always miss Queen ❤️ Whitney Houston
❤❤❤❤
My severe PTSD STILL has me fighting back the tears at the point Kevin Costner takes that bullet on the stage for Whitney Houston, every single time, I just can't help it, it's just so emotional and I love the movie so much. And I truly miss Whitney 💞
Ptsd sucks
I love 💓 Whitney Houston and I love the bodyguard one of my favorite 🍿🎥🍿 movies
