This is why I've always shot 6's at teal and 4's for other ducks. I won't switch to 1's or 2's until really late in duck season. Always gotten much better pattern from the smaller shot sizes.
I love 💕 my A300, because it fits me. I have not patterned it yet but I have shot a few rounds of trap and it does well. I am a very short, big man so gun fit is EVERYTHING to me. When I have the extra money 💰 I plan to get the 24 inch barrel for upland birds and turkeys 🦃.
I'm thinking about buying the A300 for skeet shooting. I spent most of my day today riding around, comparing prices, and doing as much research as I possibly can
Why don't you pattern the guns with a bigger paper and do a percentage of shot in a 30 inch circle. This will give real information on the gun and shell combinations.
Those stoegers are so heavy compared to the benellis, never shot a beretta, but I do love my Benelli vinci. Is there any difference in cleaning a Beretta vs a Benelli with the ID system?
The Berretta is gas operated and the . Benelli is inertia. Gas driven systems are always going to be dirtier and need more frequent cleaning. As far as the mechanics of the cleaning I have never actually broken apart an inertia driven system myself.
I shoot a with the full choke in my a300 all the time. Pattern is amazing between 15-40 yards. I wasn't satisfied with the modified that's why I moved it up to the full
If you look at the charts choke makers themselves make they don’t recommend a full choke for that range. If you are not going to shoot over 40 yards there’s no reason to use a full choke. You’ll kill more birds with a modified.
There's times more often than I'd like to admit with geese primarily that my shots do reach 40+ yards. The full is just what I've grown accustomed to. And fwiw I shoot 3 inch 3 Winchester for everything from ducks to geese. Just a matter of preferance
I was wondering if you guy were going to put the podcast on spotify? That's were I listen to most of my hunting podcasts and didn't see duck gun on there
Sweet vid! I have been shooting just for fun lately and I shoot a Winchester sxp3 and I shoot 2 for regular season because we dont have a teal season but I shoot BB for goose season which we have an early goose instead of teal.
Elliott did you buy the new Federal Speed Shok? It’s my understanding that this year’s Speed Shok is a different load. They have a new box which makes it discernible from the old Speed Shok. I patterned my Benelli with the new Speed Shok but am having trouble finding an entire case of it.
Was just wondering, we hunt public land in Loveland CO and it is realer hard to get a good number of birds to eat on for the year. We hunt 3 to 4 times a week November till end of the season. It is really hard to get birds to decoy till it freezes. We are sometimes not the best shot in the world but we do our best. Just was quirous if heavy shot might help improve our odds?
I've been watching your videos since you started posting, love them and can't wait for what you'll put out next. I just started this year filming my trap shooting and a little trick shooting as well. I'm hopeful that i can start filming all my hunts like FDH. Your videos, not the big names in hunting, but your family/crew was my inspiration to pick up the camera. Thank you for that!

Just got a m3000 with 24 inch barrel and to me it feels and shoots good.
Love my M3000! I haven't tried it with steel, but it patterns beautifully with buckshot.
Can’t go wrong with an a300, especially with an aftermarket improved modified choke.

Trevor, after using it for 4 years I really do like it. It's a solid purchase.

That’s all I could find on short notice
The stoger probably patterns high. Which is fine because it makes you focus on the bird rather than the bead of the gun.

Try the a400 extrema u will sell ur vinci
Inertia will kick way harder than a gas system as well! Nobody’s worried about how dirty a shotgun gets
Even though we don't get a lot of birds we have good fellowship trying.
What stooger is great for home defense?
I just got an A300. Can’t wait for this weekend.
Have you any suggestions on the best Gun oil for cold weather
Are those factory chokes in those guns
yes
@@FreelanceDuckHunting thank you
probably should check m3000 with a different shell manufacturer to verify its still shooting high.if it does you may need to shim

Regardless thanks for the insight Elliot, love the videos and have been a sub since the beginning.
Keep up the good work
My range is 45 yards absolute max on my 3rd shot. So for me modified is more effective.
Thank you Jesse! I really appreciate your being with me that long!
Thanks brother!

Mines the old stuff.
Do a benelli vs Beretta, I'm a benelli man so it will be interesting
6 o’clock holds for Stoeger
I really liked this video. Don't know why exactly but it was really well put together!
Actually they should have been shooting with a rest and used a bigger piece of paper to see the whole pattern.
You might want to try a three shot check at each distance with point of impact ....remember you point a shotgun and aim a rifle....👍
What about heavy shot?
We don't use it. So I didnt have any need to pattern it.

If your having problems getting birds to decoy consistently make sure you are getting hidden enough.

thank you so much! Hope to see your videos in the days to come!
E I'm going to make my next lab after you.
Need some glasses, that pattern board will send those right back.
100% agree
100% agree
A300 patterns better and feels better and is lighter
Benellis are the best shotgun made right now
i use full choke for duck hunting.
There is no contest here . Beretta 100 x better .
Stoger for the win
nope
A300 by a landslide
