I have a lot of shotguns. Never liked autos too much. In my humble opinion autos are not conducive to reliable, consecutive, trainers. You kind of forget about accuracy and flowing to your target. A single barrel and double barrel will break your reliance on speed and fast follow up shots. Which has ruined many a shotgunner. Slow it down. Relax. And find your swing and your flowing to a target. You'll be amazed how much of a difference it will make. ""Autos are not the answer""". Trust me on this. I have a cheap $200 single barrel, that neither love nor money will ever leave my house. It like my 16 ga. single barrel is awesome. Ducks geese and doves fear it like no other. I have ejectors installed on all my singles and doubles. It's about putting food in the freezer my dad and granddad always stressed, not how fast you can shoot. Advice is the only free thing you can get , that may be worth something. Next time you get a chance, try out the Stevens 301 single barrel, or the Stevens 555 16 ga over under and have ejectors installed. I think you'll fall in love. Both are cheap but shoot lights out. I have more single action and pump than semi’s. Love them both. I actually have a old double barrel stevens model 20 gauge I may do a review on. I turkey hunt with a pump action every year and have shot duck with my pump action. You can check out that video on my channel. They all have pros and cons and also narrows down to user preference in my opinion. Appreciate the input none the less!
