    Nice presentation Dr Ann , I had 3 kids the first two I band my stomach but the third one I did not . I made a big mistake by not doing that and I have problem now with my big stomach ,I cannot get it to get flat a bit , after trying so much different ways to get it flat ,

    • @DrAnn_Healthhub
      @DrAnn_Healthhub  3 года назад +10

      So the banding is meant to help with apposition of the muscles to allow healing that's why it will work when done in the first 3months. After that you unfortunately have to work a bit harder at the gym with sweat belt to do core exercises and lose weight around abdominal area. It will take some time but you will get there ❤️

    Hi doctor Ann. I'm a first time mom, I'm about 6weeks now, I've been worried about my tummy going back to normal, though I've been binding my tummy with a binder, but my tummy is still saggy, so for these first three months do I need to do cardio exercises to tighten it?

    • @nicolenicole2638

      Please take your time. You are ONLY 6 wks PP. Society puts unrealistic expectations on us. My OB told me your body gets fully back to normal after 18months. Thus them encouraging at least that age gap between pregnancies

    Hi Dr Ann I know you said it goes back to the shape you had but I am a little over 2 months pp and the shape of my bossy is still square like. It used to be hourglass,I noticed noticed it got wider on the sides. And I am wear pp belts here and there but not everyday. And worked out, lost inches off of waist but the shape is still square like…. So would you say it is still early and still healing or will my body end up like this?

    • @DrAnn_Healthhub
      @DrAnn_Healthhub  Год назад +2

      It's still very early. Start putting in more work at the gym also by 6months. You can waist train for now. Don't stress🤗🤗🤗💗

      Exercise (cardio and core) should be your best friend. The methods you've mentioned don't have research to prove their efficacy.

      You can do home workouts if you want, there are lots of post partum workouts on YT, that’s what I do also currently don’t have someone looking after my 6 month old.

      Sara - buy programs you can do at home. I am a fan of Shaun T. Depending on your fitness level and with the approval of your physician, you can do some of his workouts: T25(25mins wkout), Insanity Max 30 (30mins wkout) or Insanity (45-60 mins wkout).
      We tend to neglect walking...walking, keeping your belly binded, limiting unecessary added sugars will help. Mom of 3 here speaking. Its possible.
