This was a time when NEFT was already mature in India. Even the current payment apps in the US have a million restrictions.

In just 5-6 years, we went from jio 4g few hundred kbps speed in villages to wifi connection with speed over 10mbps ...it's life savior for us Indians during corona who are from rural area but work in companies in cities or have to study at home or want to study in the comfort of home...you don't feel behind in access to work or education compared to city people

BROTHER not only usa but also there are few jnu students who were against the upi system back then when it was introduced...there was a debate one to one btw nirmala madam and jnu students who are totally against 2000 rs note that who will use..and against upi who will use digital payments....now every corner you will see upi transactions...whenever any new thing comes first we should welcome it...then we can see negatives....the mentality to see everything in negative way by indians is stoping us from developing

The only problem I have had some time is, "Bank server is down", and I think that if this got fixed then it will make UPI system even more reliable

It's not always bank problem it's app problem,i personally use gpay and paytm too one of it always work
I use both PayTm and google pay as the upi clients. When one doesn’t work I use other. Looks like there is some throttling happening for the individual clients, hence it goes through other probably
Still UPI issues are addressed immediately (most of the time) and we get the wrongly deducted money back in the account within a few minutes. This is unlike transactions failure with debit card which takes upto 2 months to get resolved. UPI jindabad

1. No problem of storing money in home and no security issues .
2 . Money in bank and transfered to bank . No need of atm,card,cash, physical wallet, etc etc .
3. Sender and recipient data is clear and evident with proof for future next 10 years .
4. Money is just a no today and currency not wasted ,no change issue even for 1 paise .
5. We can pay 1 paise, as well in upi.
