Además de invertir en Infraestructura. La verdad que yo creo que este desorden es porque no hay organizacion. En vez de construir casas en los serros que es peligroso porque en un sismo se puede caer y causar desgracias. Deberiamos construir edificios de 10 pisos para que la gente viva en departamentos. Aqui el error ha sido de los políticos principalmente, por no dar areas para las nuevas poblaciones. Y por no dar facilidades a las empresas para que construyan edificios.

@@jo7cl on the contrary, it may not be such a bad thing. Yes they are slums, but they still house people when the government could not or would not. A lot of older neighbourhoods of Lima began as slums and the inhabitants improved them by developing their homes (which atteacts more people, which justifies the installation of infrastructure). Sometimes people call it "self-house" housing, the people have a huge amount of drive and agency and will to develop their neighborhoods. Yet the rich of Lima look on from their gated communities and behave like the barriadas are just full of those too lazy to make their life better 🙄
Why? Well... Outside of Lima, there are not enough schools, Hospitals and work. In Lima at least you have the chance to choose to go to any public school or public hospital. They are way better in Lima than outside Lima. These people trying to look for a gig of success. It is really hard but not impossible. They are working really hard and even risking their own life’s just to give their kids a better future and opportunities.

El problema no es el gobierno. El problema viene de raíz. La raíz es el pueblo. El pueblo debe tener conocimiento para enfrentar y elegir a los candidatos para el gobierno. Un pueblo con education va saber escoger bien a su representante.

No, there was never mining there, that’s how the ecosystem is in Lima, rocky and desert-like. If you go to other deserts in Peru, they pretty much look like what you would think a desert looks like, all sand and dunes.
A house in Peru anywhere in Lima costs as much as a house in the U.S. A house in a more developed slum is about two hundred thousand dollars, it's absurd they want such prices to live in such a shitty country where there's no jobs, everything is dirty and there's no clean water. The only good thing there is the food.
No taxes on anything hardly anything look it up they basically tried to raise the income tax in the 80s and no one could afford it so they just all became self employed. But this is why there so many problems not enough government money to fix them
