The philippines is bad as this. Watch a few documentaries about poverty in your country. You’ll know

@@difour6380 that would makes sense, considering India has roughly 100 times more people than philippines' it means celebrities will have much more bigger audience compared to ours so, yes, your statement is true, but GDP wise India is roughly $2000 and ours is $3500

Yeh because having 7 kids doesn't put strain on resources making people live with even less .birth control should be their number one priority. Having 7 kids hoping that atleast one makes it so that they can look after their aging parents ain't the way to do things .

According to this report slumification of Mumbai isn't a sudden phenomenon, there are tangible reasons behind that ,one of which is the migration of poor people who are are seeking better wages and life, but unfortunately they experience or meet different /awkward expectations.the problem is more complicated than providing temporary housing approaches 😎
I myself live in Ghatkopar but I never knew that such a side of Ghatkopar even existed ! I live in a high rise building and I cannot imagine me surviving a day there . I hope there are better advancements in the housing sector.
The problem here is not capitalism or socialism, the problem is overpopulation and corruption.
Exactly, overpopulation. Every couple has like 10 kids, gross.
FYI China is overpopulated, corrupt and autocratic, yet going to be the biggest economy. Only boasting democracy does not solve...we need to work for the people. Sadly, that never happens.

Lets go around and grab lands from near by countries.

That guy at the beginning lied. He wouldnt be paid 1 lakh per month at the start of his career. Trust me i'm an indian an engineer , works alot.
As a foreigner I can say, that's possible to earn in India.
For an Engineer, in foreigner companies and the contract is based from the headquarter of the company itself, it's possible to earn this.
I am from Germany and if I google, I got completely different results then you. So, my perspective is highly misleaded. I successfully applied for companies in India and I would love to hear some real experiences. I know that I am living in a bubble, that sucks.
IIT. Engineers do get that. The median salary was 14 lacs in 2018. Google. Many get more. If you get a placement from Germany you will get as much and more. As a foreigner you will get access to decent housing.

Once I was very motivated to go Mumbai and work there but after this video my jaw dropped and I can't fathom that infrastructure of Mumbai is that much poor and unhygienic. Now, I feel myself bless to live in Northern part of Bengal near green paddy fields. Situation in Mumbai is truly looking horrible. Both government and private bidders should do something to save the city.
Lets get this in mind...entire india cant stay in mumbai..Failed other states is main reason for people comming to mumbai..No one is talking about d over crowding of city..why? Per person open space req as per standards shd b 150 sft/person..which currently is 15 sft/person in mumbai...isnt it unlawfull..Slum dwellers wants to stay for free & enjoy all facilities without paying tax..irony isnt it?
India has a population of 1.4 billion, Mumbai has a population of 22 million. That's not even 2% of the population of India. There are dozens of cities in India that has population over 3 million and 8 cities with 5 million plus population, Mumbai isn't the centre, nor is any city. Mumbai is one of the major magnet in the area and govt should have planned for the expanding population.
I will agree with the fact that skin dwellers should find home and with outside of the city where they can afford. Like in Navi Mumbai or suburbs. But govt should work on creating a new business hub outside of the main city like they did with BKC.
Entire india....???? Tell itself to your state (12cr), and northern shits like UP (22cr ) bihar (10cr) to reduce their population growth....
........ we south indians have enough space for our sustainibility....... and a crowded shit like mumbai is very far off choice for us.........

If it wasn't for this shit city, I wouldn't have had whatever it is that I have been able to achieve, it has got a myriad of problems but we will work to solve it and not turn a blind eye to them.
I hope you guys also don't turn a blind eye to your local issues and believe me four years in Kerala were enough for me to see several of them. But you know I personally do not believe in labeling the whole state. Wish you luck, hopefully next time I am there you guys will have advanced further.

I have visited mumbai twice and only thing i liked about it was attitude of people there on the otherhand there is too much crowd, narrow road slums and garbage everywhere and all i kept thinking was like why a rich person would ever want to live in that city??
The opportunity to be more rich. Most people don't enjoy these conditions, but they adjust so they can earn a little bit more.
Because they make money in India. And most live out of India half the time
That's why I love my village ❤️
This is so sad that we have humans living in these conditions. The government is useless even if they can't build homes the least it should do is provide basic services for these people.

Even if you build houses over slum land overnight and everyone gets a house, there will be more people coming in mumbai from all over india to make a new slum
not only in Mumbai but even in whole country we have the same problem for under privileged society, and unfortunately they see Mumbai as ARENA OF DREAMS
Bullshit analysis mr. Aniket_U. Are you a passed out from IIT ? In those mumbai slums find the percentage of locals and outsiders by this I mean house ownership in slums are those more local people or outsiders then feel free to use your head whether its government or migrants or cost of living or lack of area.
Therefore keep them poor......

Bangalore is well ahead of Mumbai in cleanliness ...
South India is well good...very clean places, well mannered people, high gdp,low poor ratio, education ratio is also high....
@@srujankanchan7867 very good comment sir. thanks

Why are u comparing apples with oranges? Mumbai has more population (may be 35% extra) than Bangalore, plus the migration issue, people just run away here from all over india (not to mention illegal people from B'desh) to get their food here. Where as Bangalore has more of educated migrants..Geography wise Mumbai has lot of restrictions, as it is almost surrounded by sea ..
