Never saw this one- thanks so much! No wonder Luke fell for her, look how kind and sweet she is. Most other people would automatically dislike Luke just bc of Bobbie. Even here Luke talks to her like an adult, and Scott never did that. I've never been a fan of Scottie. To me, he went from spoiled brat to a sorry excuse for a man.
She's so naive here. LOL I'm so, so glad some of the really early clips exist that show how their friendship built over almost a year before the infamous rape scene. Some people think they had a couple of scenes together and then that happened, but they were close friends and she really confided in him. I think she was the only one besides his family that really knew about his past and how he felt about it and the things he wanted in life (a home, stability, permanence). It's funny how he was rewritten later, but this was all he wanted from the start.
I do believe that. I know from what I see his love for Laura his fearfulness for Laura. Luke did not want to hurt or see anyone eles hurt the woman he came to love with so much passion.. They did become very close in there friendship. But that friendship turned into the love of his life.Luke never would have hurt or even think about rapping her no,no never. There Love was so pure nothing or no one could ever come between them ever. So in my heart of hearts to me there Love will live forevermore. Thank Rosie.
You know fellow GH fans. I have to say I like very much these S/L clips I do! Funny Luke talks to Laura like he knows her all his life. Laura it seems to me she takes it all in and likes what she hears. Its like they respect each other on a much higher level. Luke never talks to any other woman like this ever. Up front true and very honest. Luke never did in my honest opinion talked or ever felt like this to any other woman then his Laura.. Yes Laura was Luke's way before they ever meet its pure love right down to there very souls.. Funny Luke fell in deep love the first time his eyes meet his Laura's. It was always meant to be from the very first start.. I know in my heart no matter what is ever going to happen.. Luke& his Laura will always be more.. With every beat of there hearts together they will always be there endless LOVE! JMVHO! PEACE & LOVE Rosie!

Are these from around the time of her car accident in June ('79) and then sometime after her wedding to Scotty in July? There was a certain point, up until maybe August, that Genie had this slightly nasal tone that I found perplexing as to the cause.. but that is trivial compared to the beauty of these early scenes :)
I think she had a "Jersey" accent going on for a while that phased out. At the same time, whomever this Lucasvii is, is a real godsend. I have been hoping for quite some time someone would have these somewhere and think to post them. It took me a few days to get time to myself to fully watch all 3 "new" 1979 clips/episodes.

Cindy S I do remember that curly hair was in style because of the surfer/skater, rocker scene during the late 70's. Luke kinda reminded me of David Lee Roth in that era.
Bobbie did make fun of Luke around this time saying that whatever he was using on his hair (to keep it straight) was affecting his brain! Not long after he went curly just like Bobbie. Maybe they were portraying curly hair ran in the family.
They gave him curls to make him look younger. Luke was written to be about the same age as Brian and Scotty. TG didn't really look his age, but the curls really made him look younger. LnL Forever ♥️
One of Bobbie's schemes to break up Scotty & Laura resulted in Laura getting into a car accident. However Luke had already fallen in love with Laura at this point and after this accident he refused to help Bobbie with any further scheme that might hurt Laura either physically or emotionally.
@@Prairiepagan316also Laura asked Luke about a scratch on his face when they were chatting in his office. Luke said it was a basketball dispute injury. I was wondering if it was some underworld knife fight in which he was involved.
@karenoneal4660 there is a clip somewhere I watched that showed him getting treated by Leslie. It was a knife wound on his torso. Then that other clip says he has a scratch from a basketball game. I always felt it was from a fight or something as well.
