Clark sisters are good (dorinda is the best), but Kim beezy is much better. Now pick ur lil Mic back up & tuck yo tail.

Kim's isn't as stressed, she generally switches between chesty raspy upper belts and crystal clear mixed belts quite often. That's why she cab belt a G#5 comfortably while Dorinda struggles to stay up there
The difference between them is dorinda belts all her notes up to A5 in chest. Her mix is more heady almost sounding like falsetto. She mixed a Bb5 in one of the clark songs and she belted a slight Bb5 in a live version of take it back. Kim being technically trained mastered that part of her voice.

I don’t know where her rasp came from but it sounds more like clear distortion than anything. Dorinda when she was younger before the early 90s had the same distortion in her voice. Around 95 and 96 it got harder and heavier and her voice became a little more huskier. It was because of the heavy preaching along with the Constant singing.
