His work brought out true inner feelings and deep pain that this movie goer (interviewer) experienced while watching his movie. To me, that's authentic. I'm glad she expressed how great the movie was and was able to share her criticism as well. They don't need to be glorified 24-7. I like how Tyler took it like a man!

Priscilla Edgeston ohhhhh but it’s NOT “just a movie”. In some form or fashion a lot of us Black Queens 👸🏽 have suffered something akin to what Mr Tyler Perry shared with us in this film. I’m not a very big fan of his, but I watched this movie with an open mind. I think he is doing a good job. Can he do better? Most definitely!!! And he should start by having a Writer’s Room, INCREASE the hair budget for his actresses. You know Black Women DO NOT play about our hair!!!!! Consult with someone on Wardrobe, etc........ And what I mean to say is that NO MAN is an island. We ALL need each other. Amen 🙏🏽

How on earth do you have 4 stars of this calibre in a room and manage to make the interview all about you. This interviewer should be schooled after this! I can only IMAGINE the backstage discussions about this woman in red (really....RED??!!) Tyler had had with his stars after this interview. They must have been having a laugh. Fan out AFTER you do your job please!

Darlicia Isaac You Know at first I was thinking what’s up with her....but as the interview progressed, I saw a woman that was hurting and when you’re hurting the body language speaks volumes! Folded arms is a protection move, which had nothing to do with the cast. I don’t feel there was any disrespect, on the contrary, I think Tyler Perry gave her in his response an opportunity to begin healing because he saw it (clearly she is going through something) and when she gave him that gift at the end and thanked him for “Seeing Her” that’s a woman who needs healing from hurt and overlooked...

@@msdee243 I agree with everything you are saying...I just feel as though she needed to turn all of what she was feeling into some good questions for the cast...it took the focus away from the interview and we started focusing on her with all that emotion and attitude she was giving during the interview.

Don't understand folks who say it was predictable - cuz it definitely WAS NOT. Would've never predicted the twist at the end! I agree with some re the writing (but also the editing). Not until I saw a negative review, did i realize there were so many blatant flaws - like during the diner scene, folks were behind them eating thin air (didn't notice, cuz focused on the dialog). So since EVERY woman I know loved the movie, it would just be nice if TP could accept "constructive" criticism to make his work more polished/higher quality. It's like having a Starbucks cup in a Game of Thrones scene - what's wrong with havin someone on board who could point that out !!

    • @bobby12348

I agree but Tyler Perry is the type of person that wants to do everything on his own. Is not good for his mental health. He's so used to making it all by himself from childhood. He doesn't know how to accept help but he need too learn.

@@blessedandfavored9242 Because she was all over the place; First, she could have given that gift off camera. She is candid but she is a little off as well. Second, Her pulling out a purse during an on camera interview that's a big No No common sense should have told her not to do that, but nowadays common sense is not so common. Third, her body language was not neutral and she was folding her arms during the interview like she hiding something. Finally, the icing on the cake was how she made the interview all about her; very unprofessional. She just needs to get coached on proper etiquette for future interviews.
