Kudos for the video content! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you considered - Delsooh Socializing Victory (just google it)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for making over seven hundred dollars per week helping businesses with their social media accounts minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my work buddy after a lifetime of fighting got great success with it.
Your hair is so dope!! I have like 4a/4b hair and I never do a wash and go because it just shrinks so much and idk how to preserve it at night but you gave me some hope. I'll try it again one day! Thanks for this video!
Gorgeous! And I agree with your view of a wash n go. I used to do the most but got tired of it taking forever and a day just for some definition that takes away from my volume. Now I keep it simple. Thanks for the video and product recommendations!
You, Kia, are the one who changed the natural hair style game for me! I’ve always loved my natural hair but struggled at styling it. Especially doing wash and go’s. Thank you for sharing this technique.
What I will accomplish is graduating from cosmetology school! I'm extremely excited and happy about this journey and where it's going to take me. Striving to be the best and do more!
I have many, many goals that I want to fulfill before the year is over but my main goal is bettering my relationship with Christ and really fully committing myself to him and living my best life.
Sis, I have looked at this video several times trying to embrace doing wash and go's. At the age of 59, when you say it's important for us to embrace our natural texture, your words hit me in my gut! I know you are right, and The Most High YAH is calling for His daughters (so-called Black women) to stop wearing fake stuff and sexy clothing. Our hair's natural texture is not a twist out, so I am going to truly focus on learning my hair in a wash and go and not "do the most" before I go! Thanks, baby Sis! Love the way your wash and go looks! You did that!
The goal I want to accomplish by the end of this year is to be able to keep my 4.0 gpa to be able to go to my dream college to become a fashion designer.
This was a very much needed video. I go back and forth with loving my hair texture(s). I see black woman who are fair like I am but have looser hair textures. To see someone with similar hair and embrace it helps so much. Thank you for simply just being you. A beautiful black woman.
My goal this year is to finally start up my own business selling watercolors and more black art, eventually going into retail or museums ^-^ who knows P.s. your hair is so beautiful!! Your different hair textures make your hair styles look so much cooler in my opinion 😂
One goal to accomplish by the end of the year is to come to terms with who I am and embrace all my flaws and goofiness to it's fullest and that includes wearing my fro out more often.
See I'm glad I actually get to see a wash and go that is more my thought process. Embracing the natural curls is exactly what I did my first time wearing the style
I've never been a wash in go type of person. I felt like it made my type 4 (A, B, C) hair to knotty and dry looking. Until recently I've found that doing a clay wash or vinegar rinse, followed up by mane choices 3-1 leave in conditioner, then Camille rose naturals almond jai twisting butter (yes for wash in go, it works great), followed up with the mane choice 24k twisting gel. Results are hydrated, bouncy, defined and shiny hair. I've also tried this with a twist and curl, results were fantastic!
My goal by the end of this year is to rock an healthy Afro, after having my baby I'm dealing with post shedding but I'm confident with protective styling my hair will go back to normal. I can't wait to try this wash and go method. I believe Type 4 girls CAN rock a wash and go. I love watching your channel, thanks for your tips on hair care and styles 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Hi Kia!!! My main goal that I wish to accomplish this year is to continue being patient with myself on my spiritual journey and also patient with those around me, no matter what they dish out at me. I also want to continue living by the 4 agreements and spread the impact that those agreements have had on my life this past year, to any and everyone who may need it.
I came here after watching your signature afro video. You're the first RUclipsr I've seen with similar hair to mine when wet, so I wondered how you got that defined RUclips wash and go everyone does because my hair just will not. And the answer is; you don't. It looks absolutely stunning and has left me wondering why I've been chasing "definition" for so long. Thank you so much ❤
We have similar textures; different throughout. I recently started embracing my hair in its natural state/wash and gos. Shrinkage and all! I even do the banding method which helps A LOT to stretch the hair...Once you embrace your hair fully, others will too or you just learn to not give a damn and keep doing you lol ✊
I love that you didin't slather ridiculous amounts of product on your hair and you didn't twirl each strand. I love doing wash and gos, but I'm hesitant to watch other type 4's on youtube because they do the most trying to get their hair to look like its type 3. I completely agree that I think every natural (in particular type 4) should at some point wear a wash and go, so they can truly embrace their texture.
You said wash and then do the most! Omg that's what I've thought so many times when watching other "wash n go" videos! Thank you for such great commentary. Love this video!!
Glad to see how those products work on kinkier textures. I may give them a try. I'm all about quick wash and gos because currently my health doesn't allow me to spend ages twisting and retwisting nightly. Your hair looked great!
I have been wearing my hair to work, natural for a week.. Don't know what I'm doing, but I'm going with it!! Thanks for this! Your hair looks beautiful.
Beautiful! I just recently did a wash n go after probably 6 months or more of twist outs. It shrunk up like no other but I also did some banding at night to stretch it some. Definitely didn't stretch as much as if it had been in a twist out but it's refreshing to see my curls doing their natural thing.
Always love your videos Kia! One goal I hope to accomplish my the end of this year is to have a computer engineering job! Also strive to have multiple streams of income!
I really wanna wear my natural hair out more! I've been hiding it under protective styles that I haven't had a chance to embrace how far my hair has come ! My curls are flourishing beautifully
One goal I would like to accomplish by the end of the year is listening to my inner voice and speaking up more confidently instead of going w/ the flow. Also, I would like to take at least 1 international trip by the end of 2017
one goal that I will accomplish before the end of the year is this: so I've been writing for years & I even have a blog that I've maintained for the last 4 years. it's always been a dream of mine to work at a magazine, like since I was a kid & at this point in my life I going to do everything I can to make that happen. I WILL WORK AT A MAGAZINE BY THE END OF THE YEAR 🗣🙏🏾✨
SheScenit products put my Wng game on fleek. The papaya tightly coiled styling cream and coconut leave in are moisture heaven. You have to try it. I use the CRN curlmaker with it as my gel. No flaking, soft for days
Looks good. We have similar fine textured 4 hair. Next time, instead of smoothing, separate and apply at the roots more so they are more defined and smooth. The smoothing is more for looser textures.
Great results😍 the coils in the front of your hair look like they're 4b in the front too. it reminds me of my own, mine coil slightly different in the front compared to the rest of my head
My hair texture looks just like yours but shrinkage 😭 seriously, as my hair gets longer it still shrinks to look 3 inches long if i dont do a braid out
I think getting my GPA up is the main goal that I plan on doing before this year is over. College has been tough but I'm sticking in there and working the hardest I can . P.S. I love the fact that you let your natural texture shine through . Beautiful! 👏🏽😍
My goal for the end of this year is to have my money stacked up and really start branding myself in what I love which is fashion. I'll be shooting my photos, creating my blog I've always wanted, really finally doing what I love because I've always been afraid but it's time.
One goal that I would like to accomplish before 2017 is over is to pass all of my nursing classes with A's and B's!! ALMOST DONE, THANK GOD!! Btw, this wash n go is bombbbb.
By the end of this year I will have finally completed my last semester of college and will obtain my bachelors degree in criminal justice 🙏🏽😊 super exciting considering the fact that I am a mom of two beautiful boys ; I now have something to show them that I've worked hard for!
We have the exact same hair texture and you make me want to try wearing my hair natural again. I got discouraged because I never see anyone with a similar texture! Thanks for all the dope videos kia ❤️
I love it!! This is the first time I’ve seen someone with all almost my exact same pattern of textures in the same spots and everything!! Your hair is gorgeous!! 👍🏽
I don’t understand why us curly ladies are sleeping on such wonderful products? I am enjoy what the Ouidad products line does to my hair. It’s worth every single penny!!!’ Holy grail!!
I'm a new subbie and just wanna say I love the channel and you are such an inspiration... I feel like your channel is a strong reminder of how beautiful black hair and black women are! Pls, keep doing what you do ❤😙
I have never done twist outs. I went natural by big chop. However i grew my hair long and decided I wanted to be bald and shaved it completely. I feel like it's grown back a different texture or maybe actually completely healthy. No heat damage. No coloring. But regardless im working so hard to love and accept me. I feel like i look so ugly and so much like a man with my hair loose in an afro or wash and go. Maybe the shorter length too. I already feel not so pretty and everyone always said i looked better with straight hair. More exotic more Hispanic like my dad. Idk i just am going through things i didnt go through being natural the first time. It's hard. I want to embrace this texture and just how i look period.
My goal this year is to continue to push myself out of my comfort zone and try new things. I started with finally commuting to my big chop. Next I will attend a networking event for my cleaning business that I started earlier this year! I'm so excited about this
andrea u Ccongrats, that's really good!! My mom is starting her one as well. If you don't mind me asking, is the event nationwide ? I want to help point my mom in the right direction. Thank you!😊
my goal for the year is definitely to have healthy, thick, and strong hair! i'm not worried so much about the length i just want it to be strong and healthy!
I know this video is old but I really wanted to comment For the longest when I first went natural I never did wash and gos. I think it might have been because 1 I loved the way my hair came out when I did twist outs and 2 I was comparing my hair to all these other people’s hair that I saw do wash and gos and thought it wouldn’t be as nice. Now wash and gos are my go to when I don’t know what to do to my hair and when I don’t feel like waiting for my twists or braids to dry for take down.
That’s why I thought you were the RUclipsr that matched my hair texture the most. I have 3a in the nape, 3b/c on the sides in the back 4a on the sides in the middle and on the crown and 4c in the front! People can never tell what my hair is because it’s so many! 😂😂 lovely fro sis!!
My hair is also mostly 4b (with a little 4a just on the top of my head lol) and this video did inspire me to embrace my natural texture. Your hair looked beautiful and now I can't wait to try doing the same thing
The end of the year is the end of my 2nd year in business as a entrepreneur in graphic design... my goal is to achieve double the amount of growth from year 1 in clients and profit size. Also to have my natural hair look good while doing it ☺️
I really hope to accomplish my own RUclips channel. I wanna go comedy, I wanna make people life at my crazy life lol. I just gotta work hard this year to buy the equipment🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 I hope I'll have that confidence to be in front of the camera 🎥 Pray for me lol😇😇
Kiaaaaa I have missed your hair videos!! The first time I did a perm rod set 2/3years back or so I followed along to one of your perm rod set you filmed!! Hair wise (it's a mixture of 3c,4a,4b I know crazy)I hope to get to grow it to waist length by December (I have passed the bottom of my bra strap, well for most of my hair cause it's in layers lol) and school wise I hope to get through my final year of uni SANE!! 😂😂 bucking up for this last hurdle🙏🏾🙌🏾
My goal is to keep my 4.0 to graduate college with highest honors in May. My bonus goal is to ace the GRE next month to get into grad school this year! Your wash n go is bombbbb 😍
Hmm I may have to try this product cocktail! I really like your results! Especially since it wasn't so shrunken. My level of shrinkage is unmatched lol
'it's really important to embrace your natural texture in its natural state" YOU GO GIRL 👏🏻

I plan on overcoming my fears of comparison, rejection, and overcoming other people's opinions of me by the end of this year 🙌🏾
Yes!!!
I'm with you........❤❤❤
Amber Mancebo sis. I’m checking in, how did you do!?
It’s a beautiful feeling ✨🖤✨
@@viintaget6372 I’m on my way! My sense of self is getting better & better. Thanks for checking in boo 😘
I feel you "wash and gos" for tightly coiled hair is doing the most. I love volume too but my 4c hair is so fine. Your hair and style is fabulous!
I love the big volume and the texture of your hair. That was really nice
The explanation of the stages of natural hair are spot on. That was my exact experience.
Rhonda Denis me too 👍
This year I will not let my stress overwhelm my academic performance.
Your hair is so dope!! I have like 4a/4b hair and I never do a wash and go because it just shrinks so much and idk how to preserve it at night but you gave me some hope. I'll try it again one day! Thanks for this video!
TheNotoriousKIA yes I love my shrinkage, less prone to breakage
This year I plan to get my 1st apartment on my own and starting my own fashion/stylist blog.
Gorgeous! And I agree with your view of a wash n go. I used to do the most but got tired of it taking forever and a day just for some definition that takes away from my volume. Now I keep it simple. Thanks for the video and product recommendations!

Girl....you're hair is flourishing! Beautiful.
My goal is to be an example to black and Brown children that they can be more than what the mass media tells them to be.
I have many, many goals that I want to fulfill before the year is over but my main goal is bettering my relationship with Christ and really fully committing myself to him and living my best life.

Hi Kia!!!! One goal I have is to minimize my closet this year and to focus on quality over quantity in my style!
My goal is to accomplish an overall healthier life but most importantly a healthy life filled with growing closer to God. He is amazing! 🙌🏾
The goal I want to accomplish by the end of this year is to be able to keep my 4.0 gpa to be able to go to my dream college to become a fashion designer.
Update?

This brought tears to my eyes. I loved this so much. I've been in a hair funk so long, and this has inspired me 🤗
See I'm glad I actually get to see a wash and go that is more my thought process. Embracing the natural curls is exactly what I did my first time wearing the style

Yessss!! I agree!! I watch RUclips but I be like.... I need that music in my life! Especially the "if this world was mine" track!! That one is bomb!!
Finally someone who has almost the exact same hair type in the same areas 😩😩😩 only difference is my shrinkage is a a lot crazier 😂
I've never been a wash in go type of person. I felt like it made my type 4 (A, B, C) hair to knotty and dry looking. You are literally my hair twin! Is there a video with your oil mixture??
I enjoyed never would have thought a wash and go was possible for my 4chair texture, encouraged to try in the future
Wow we have the exact same texture all the down to the different hair types. I’m so happy I found this video
Hi Kia!!! My main goal that I wish to accomplish this year is to continue being patient with myself on my spiritual journey and also patient with those around me, no matter what they dish out at me. You are so right about embracing that wash and go...i love my texture i just hate that it shrinks so bad
After watching this video, I must say, the "crane hands" method has perfected my wash in go's!! Thanks!!
Glad to see how those products work on kinkier textures. I may give them a try. I'm all about quick wash and gos because currently my health doesn't allow me to spend ages twisting and retwisting nightly. Your hair looked great!
One goal I WILL accomplish by the end of the year: HEALTHY HAIR!

Love this video..your wash n gos seem so simple
Girl your hair is so beautiful! I've been tryna figure out all my textures but it's all over the place
I have been wearing my hair to work, natural for a week.. Don't know what I'm doing, but I'm going with it!! Thanks for this! Your hair looks beautiful.

My goal is to perfect a wash n go, because I haven't worn my hair in its natural state in over a year 😩 twist and braid outs are my go to.

The shape of your hair is everything!
The prayer hands method is my go-to because of you. Thank you
My hair texture looks just like yours but shrinkage 😭 seriously, as my hair gets longer it still shrinks to look 3 inches long if i dont do a braid out
Monay T. Same I don't know when I'll get used to it
Monay T. I have shrinkage when my hair is dry, so I KEEP a oil and water mixture with me if I wear my hair out
I think getting my GPA up is the main goal that I plan on doing before this year is over. College has been tough but I'm sticking in there and working the hardest I can . P.S. I love the fact that you let your natural texture shine through . Beautiful! 👏🏽😍

I love it!! This is the first time I’ve seen someone with all almost my exact same pattern of textures in the same spots and everything!! Your hair is gorgeous!! 👍🏽
It got extra beautiful as the days went on. Super pretty!

I love your hair the volume the curls everything is working gotta try this soon
By the end of this year I hope to ace my finals for my first semester of college!😩🙏🏾
All I can say is Wow and Beautiful! Also your camera that your using for this super clear videos is one of the best I've seen on the hair videos.

I can’t believe I found your channel!! I use to watch your DIY videos years ago when I was in high school. Lol great to see you still going :)
I know this video is old but I really wanted to comment
For the longest when I first went natural I never did wash and gos. I think it might have been because 1 I loved the way my hair came out when I did twist outs and 2 I was comparing my hair to all these other people’s hair that I saw do wash and gos and thought it wouldn’t be as nice. I loved it! Thank you for the inspiration. I need to try a wash n go after I get a trim
Smart! I never thought to band a wash n go. Thanks Kia. 😉

Loving all of your curl patterns!
The end of the year is the end of my 2nd year in business as a entrepreneur in graphic design... my goal is to achieve double the amount of growth from year 1 in clients and profit size. Also to have my natural hair look good while doing it ☺️
I love the song at the end. I can't wait for my hair to get this big!!!!
By the end of the year, I will finish the semester with straight As and stay consistent in my positive habits.
Yessss I've been waiting on this since you posted a pic of your W&G on insta! Love it! I'm trying this!
IVE LITERALLY WAITED YEARS FOR THIS 👏🏽✨
You're hair is absolutely gorgeous
Kiaaaaa I have missed your hair videos!! The first time I did a perm rod set 2/3years back or so I followed along to one of your perm rod set you filmed!!
