I used to always have Prescience, but there were other augments that I would rather have, so I practiced perfect block without, and stopped equipping Prescience. This set was Clout, Vehemence, Egression (always as Fighter, i have this) Impact Predation Proficiency The best way to practice Perfect Block is to only have a Shield equipped and start picking fights with Goblins, and then Wolves, and then Saurians, and make your way to Eliminators and Living Armor. Also, for me, When I need to block I hold Block. When I want to Perfect Block, I tap block. Muscle memory
What gear are you using on your Arisen? I personally styled mine after Savan as like a reincarnation thing (I also loved his asthetic) but my MP could use some better gear.
Nice return vid. A team of fighters just wrecked a room full of eliminators and Elder Ogres. Awesomeness!!! Surprisingly, there weren't many times where the lack of ranged attack seemed problematic. Your guys even shredded those dreaded Garm when they spawned. Once again, nice work. Looking forward to the next vid.
Hey Derek, it's good to read from you. The Fighter pawns did do pretty well with the flying bastards. Dagon's Maw has great pull to it, so if something is close enough, maw just drops them to ground level, and then it's simply Fighter vs Bird. Dark Bishop went well too. Again Dragon's Maw his ankles and wait for that knockback. I think Mage will be next. I am going to likely only have HFB for Daimon, but really, what else is there for Mage? Ingle? Levin? well, it should be fun. I think i may get a Golem in there as well. That may make the video twice as long though
I haven't tried Comestion on Daimon's second form. Frigor is an option, when he stays still for awhile. I would rather not spam HFB, but also I gotta realistic. I am going to try a few things and see how the results end up
Nihil0.0 Good to read from you as well. Awesome that Mage may come next. For the Daimon fight using torpor is a must. One of the pawns absolutely must have a rusted staff. I tried beating it with a team of casters with one Mage randomly casting the spell that torpors. Not only does it take longer to inflict the status effect but it's absent the poisoning effect too. I beat the Daimon using a team of mages with one having a good dragonforged rusted staff and another having a GDF aneled one. Daimon can be poisoned, tarred and torpored so I came with weapons that ensured those status effects would hit him. If I'm not mistaken anodyne hurts him a bit. Tarring him makes fire spells more effective but I shamelessly used a lot of HFB. Hiding behind his throne and casting also saves me plenty of times. Having spellscreen helped; adding equanimity and some combo of reinforcement, retribution and restoration helps your pawns too. Unless you plan to boost magic with potions or periaphs and span HFB keeping pawns alive is a must so watch out for his void attack and consider giving your main pawns a legion's might. This is a tough fight but it's hella fun. Good luck.
I am still not sure about the staff selection. I think one will have Rust, and another will have Golden, and the Legion's Might may be helpful. I am excited about the Mage run, but also dreading it. I think you recall, that I typically hate rolling with pawns, and on top of that I typically hate Magic vocations. I guess that's why it's exciting..... the pain and pleasure of unfamiliarity.
I've recently taken an interest in fashion dogma, since I figured armor stats don't matter as much if you don't plan to get hit anyways. What was the armor set Nilette, your second pawn, wearing?
In dogma online, you could have your own 3 pawns, I think the dogma sequel will likely do this. The nice thing was that if your pawn died, it wasn't a simple go to rift stone and revive, it was go into the riftstone, fight and kill some things, find your lost scared pawn and bring them back. I liked this alot in dogma online. It would be cool to see in the sequel

Well, it took awhile. That's me with each of them for over 100 hours, pounding in their AI skulls what they need to do, and still they have their flaws. I have found that augments really help tell them what you want them to do. I gave them Proficiency = use more skills, I gave them Grit = Use more Dragon's Maw, I gave them Endurance = Use more skills. And it works.
Nihil , have you ever getting the worst possible in Dogma, I mean sometime we have to find the solution for the worst possible, for example solo Fighter or Warrior against Wraith, and I think it's difficult too with solo Assassin, and Magick Archer has a problem with Metal Golem when playing solo, and do you know something to boost Heaven's Key magic attack and the other Elemental weapon? I think you know we have to solve the worst possible when playing solo. Because I don't use periapt and other tools
I always appreciate no tools and no items play. This sounds like a good video idea. I will start on it tonight. Those specific vocations vs those specific enemies are tough. Without Throwblast for Wraiths, or with good physical for Golems. Honestly I feel like assassin sucks at any enemy, they have the toughest time with Wraiths. Warriors do better with Wraiths than Assassin. Sorcerer has a few things for Metal Golems and Golems,, but Mage is a difficult battle. With Elemental split weapons, such as Cursed Light, your magic stat doesn't matter. You could have 866 magic or 350 magic, and you will get the same damage from an Elemental split weapon. The level of the weapon is what matters. Dragon Forged will do better than a 1 star, and Gold Forged will do better than Dragon Forged. The Demon's Periapt will increase the damage by 20% or double if you were to stack them. I typically ignore Wraiths. They are my most hated enemy. I will show some things in this next video. I may have it up Monday

The WyrmKing's ring forgery does not work with spellcasting. The real one does.But only one will work, so multiple will not multiply. Another thing to keep in mind is WyrmKing's ring and Articulacy only increase "Casting" speed by 10%. "Casting is only 1/3 of the entire spell. You have 1) Charging then 2) Casting, and then 3)release. You can tell the difference between these 3 stages by the animations of the character. Like how you cannot move while Charging Gicel. But after Charging, is Casting, at which point we can move.
:) we gotta look good. Spending that much time with them, might as well have it be a pretty sight. I do try and stay away from slooty vibe, I still like to be practical.

Clout augment is after you rank Warrior to Rank9, Vehemence is a Fighter's augment after Fighter reaches rank9. The augments that you unlock for each vocation can be equipped by you while you are any of the vocations. You don't have to level the vocations up very much. To get the best ranking ratio you want to kill enemies that reward you with around 100 exp. These 100 exp will rank vocations quicker than high exp. Once you get the desired vocation ranked to rank9, then you can switch to another and rank that one. Typically it takes 2 hours to rank a vocation if you just farm Goblins. But there is the Ring of Perseverence, that halves the time. And you can wear 2 of these rings to further shorten the time to about 40 minutes.
Yeah cause of reach, still most or at least half the fight is "can you float your ass back down here?" lol. Though it helps if you allow him to possess the dragon, cause when you kill the dragon while he's in it then he pops out lying on the ground for awhile
