Nuclear Plants, ok so thats the answer. Yet it can take 117 month (9.7 years) minamum to build just one plant. So Hitchen will be long dead by the time one or two are built. Its impossible to build more than 1 plant at a time due to the amount of resources our tiny little country would have to deploy to build said plant. Other larger countries have more resources, like America and Russia. After 20 to 40 years, that plant will have to be shut down anyhow. So its not a long term strategy at all.

@@tyqwdybijo yeah but youve picked specific things. most of the uks vast array of non jobs could be done from home as could most insurance/banking(but i repeat myself re non jobs)/law etc could be done from home with occasional meetings
It's not just about IT infrastructure. Many people like the social aspect of their jobs and collaborating in-person. The office environment also creates a distinct work-space which people struggle with when working from home. Working from home certainly works for big businesses though: reduced office expenses, opens up the door for outsourcing, greater profits.
I still can't listen to Hitchens.... such is my disgust at his betrayal of what he claimed to believe in.
I'll admit it's something that I have a lot of problems with now - especially as he seems to not realise that what he did helped accelerate the process of a digital ID and therefore a social credit system.
Peter's clearly not going to bite the hand that feeds him, but perhaps his presence in msm helps the masses become more sceptical of government policies?
Nuclear Plants, ok so thats the answer. Yet it can take 117 month (9.7 years) minamum to build just one plant. So Hitchen will be long dead by the time one or two are built. Its impossible to build more than 1 plant at a time due to the amount of resources our tiny little country would have to deploy to build said plant. Other larger countries have more resources, like America and Russia. After 20 to 40 years, that plant will have to be shut down anyhow. So its not a long term strategy at all.
Haven't Rolls Royce got the ability to develop them in much less time?
Hi there Brother of Christopher.
you know he should do something with his camera positioning. he's improved a bit but still looks like someone talking to someone else
Christopher's smarter brother.
Who is Christopher?
@@Dabhach1 Christopher Hitchens.
Hitchens has no credibility now he's had the ridiculous jab.
Two old farts reminiscing about what things used to be like... but weren't really! Journalists using personal anecdote to consolidate their point. Same old, same old. But still interesting.
JibbyJab Hitchens still on Talksh!te radio?
Only till the booster ...

Is it me or does mr hitchens look somewhat pale since being double jabbed?
You can just tell Peter has no time for the other bloke...
Who, Mike Graham? You know the idea is for the host to let the guest speak, right?
Ignorant nonsense sorry to say about Polish education: students have three Ms, which translates as learn, pass, forget!
Hitchens is a coffin dodger
He's only 69!
Maybe 30 years ago
It’s like 2 grandads born in the 30’s talking rubbish. Two massive supporters of rampant capitalism looking down on people wanting new trainers. The irony…
Your future will be appalling and deserved.

You won’t be waving the hammer and sickle when you’ve grown up son. Just wait it out. I know growing up can be painful.
I used 4 litres of petrol queuing but did manage to get 3 litres in my tank.
