I think Bijou and Danny both seem to be cut from a similar cloth in unhealthy ways. I had recently heard Bijou was also accused of assault. Hopefully she has changed and become a better person and can make amends for the hurt and damage she’s caused on those she harmed.
Her and her husband were a perfect match, pair of low lifes.

@@geno1825 The daughter to me is the biggest victim in all of this besides obviously the women Masterson drugged and raped. She is only 9 years old and will grow up without a father. She will be almost 40 when he maybe gets released.

Yup. Could be for lots of reasons. Asset protection so that Bijou and their daughter aren't responsible for remuneration in any of the civil trials against Danny brought forth by his victims. Also, If she is divorced, it makes it easier for COS to "declare" Danny, which means, essentially, kick him out of scientology. Declare him a "suppressive Person." Danny has expenses too, such as possible lawsuit payments and his team is probably working HARD right now to pay the right people on the outside to have Danny protected in prison. From having done to him, what he so nonchalantly did to his victims. Or, it could be that Bijou knew all along what Danny was doing and that it continued even after they started dating. Maybe she was waiting for him to get jailed so she could feel safe enough to leave him.
I wonder if it’s a way to safe guard all his existing assets. The victims will look to sue. They have a big piece of property in Santa Barbara
don’t kid yourself the divorce is only way to shelter all of Danny’s assets because he’s about to face at least a few civil cases
