I hear that PG GAT-X105 Strike Gundam is a great first timer PG and it's not that expensive.
The pilot is Kira Yamato.
The XM404 "Grand Slam" Anti-Ship Sword is not part of its normal equipment. It was featured in episode 08 of Gundam Evolve.

Fun fact...
If you buy the PG GAT-X105+AQM/E-YM1 Perfect Strike Gundam, you get a slightly updated version of the outer armor (more details) and it's the only way to get all 3 Striker Packs.
Of course there's the PG FX-550 Skygrasper + AQM/E-X01 Aile Striker.
It's the AQM/E-X02 Sword Striker and AQM/E-X03 Launcher Striker.

For loose joints I use gunprimer join system when in stock pick one up for sure. Great video dude thank you 😊🙏

I don't have the box anymore, so I can't say for sure, but I bet it had the red logo.
