I noticed the aluminum foil packages were labeled in Hebrew. When I volunteered in Beer Sheva in 1985 - 1986, foil was available in the Supersol, but even though it was made in Israel, the labelling was 100% English! Bizarre. Not surprisingly, many of the packages had been opened by shoppers trying to discover what was inside.
I laugh because this is the 3rd video on grocery shopping in Israel that's popped onto my screen today. Tell them about the high price of local produce!
Travelling to Israel for work for 2 weeks. Thank you so much for this video! It's really helpful
Glad it was helpful!

Traveling soon, can’t wait. Can alcohol come into the USA, do we pay taxes.
I’m wanting olive oil
Stuff sold by weight, the weigh's in kilograms right? So you see the equivalent of $20, that's per 2.2lbs
The item don't have a English translation label/sticker on it?
I've never seen them. Perhaps in specific supermarkets catering to the needs of immigrants. But in general, no.
Why does the BBC never show us Israeli supermarkets?
It's clean smells good beutiful
