HELLO I have epilepsy and I got real sick and my Doctor told me to go get my affairs' in order she told me she would never see me again in this life time I went home and I was reading my Bible and God told me to fast for forty day to save my life I fasted in week three my friends told me I stink I told them I was fasting and my body is cleaning its self up it was the best time of my like I felt good I was shocked how great I felt I fasted forty three days I did not want to stop my fast If your sick or healthy you need to clean your body Jesus told us all to God Bless you all.
Very brave. Sick people are scared of fasting, but it probably is what most of them need. I fasted several times when I was very sick - low white blood cells, parasite infestation, depression, inflammation etc. Guess what, on day 4 of a water fast, the body releases new white blood cells LOL. Sorted out my immune system in 4 days! And I had digestive issues as well. I did 2 weeks of water fasts at a time, then a week of eating light foods, followed by another 2 weeks of water fasts.
good job! good idea! I have hit a wall at 48 hours in the past, I saw dana whites suggested fast with bone broth in small amounts and that helped get over that hurdle
I'm 64. I do one 72 hour fast at the beginning of each month, and two 36 hour fasts every week. I've been doing the 36 hour fasts since I was 52. I do this because (1) I'm willing to try anything that might ward off dementia, (2) that might ward off diabetes, and (3) that might ward off cancer. But the main reason I do it is so I can feel morally superior to everyone else. 😮
I did 68 hours my first time trying a water fast. I'm currently at 28 hours and feeling great. I'm not holding myself to a certain time period. I'm just going with the flow. Watching videos like this help immensely to stay focused on why I'm doing this. Thank you
I’m on my third day fast and haven’t felt hungry. I’m going to see how I feel and either stop today or go for two more days for five days, or even seven. I guess I’ll see how it goes. I’ve been listening to fasting utubes to help me stay focussed and to plan how to reseed wisely.
I did the 10 day water fast in January of 2015. I didn't really lose a lot of visible weight but I dropped like 11 pounds and it totally improved my digestion. I also used to have the birthmark on my face, under my eye... I always thought it was a birth mark but after the fast it was GONE. So it must have been some type of rash that had been there most of my life.
I also had an inflamed blemish from sun damage that I had for 30 years disappear. I’ve also been plagued by blackheads on my nose all my life - totally cleared up. If that’s happening on the outside imagine what’s going on inside.
I am a day and half into my 3 day fast. I searched for informational videos to keep me focused and motivated and you nailed it! Thank you. I tried to start last week and had several fails. I am determined to complete it this time. Half way there 🙏🏾🙌🏾
I fasted for 72 hours and then celebrated with friends at a Mexican restaurant. Big mistake! I got very light-headed my vision dimmed, I felt like I was about to pass out and it took me several hours to get over it. Eat very lightly after a long fast.
I did something similar after my first 48 hour fast. Was wiped out for the two days following and also had agonising stomach cramps. Luckily I educated myself on how to ease back into eating before my next fast and avoided shitting water.
@@dracowuhan7536 I usually break a long fast with half a avocado with an egg. Let it settle for an hour or two then you can eat something else not too heavy. The following day I’m ok to eat normal again.
I am at 47 hours as of now. Day 2 was a little tougher than day 1. I'm hopeful I will complete the 72 hours tomorrow at 10:30 pm! This is my 1st time attempting a fast this intense. I do intermittent fasting daily, usually 14 hours. So I'm not completely taken back by the feeling, but it has been a journey making it to two days! I hope when I wake up tomorrow I'll have that burst of energy to complete 72 🙏🏽 God bless all who participate!
Completing my first 72 hour fast. I'm 60 and it's pretty easy to power through the hunger after one day. The second and third days have been easy. I have beef bone broth standing by when I break the fast in a few hours. Looking forward to it.
I've been doing 18-6 for about 4 days, very new to this, I've been thinking about a 72hr fast, any advice for the first time? Or if I even should this quickly, maybe wait a month or so on the 18-6?
@@Bnathann I am 59 yrs old, I am on my 3rd day and I struggled on the 2nd day, I was shaky when I woke up and very irritable. I think it is better to start tapering off from food before you jump into the 3day fast. I jumped into it without any preparation. Since you are doing intermittent fasting it might be a-good idea to continue for a few days and start reducing the amount of food you are already eating while doing your intermittent fasting. Then jump into the 3 day fast. I only had water with a pinch of salt. I had a slight headache but I noticed that a lot of my aches and pains have subsided.
I did a 7 day fast last week it was the most incredible experience I’ve ever had in my life. My body and mind completely healed and detoxed and I’m in the best shape of my life also.
This is my second 3 day fast, and I keep learning new things! I'm still drinking my black coffee and green tea. Now, I'm adding mineral water. I'm doing it more for the cancer cell fighting aspect, but the fat loss is certainly a plus. Cheers to fast detox! Thanks for all the helpful info!
So I was a Type 2 Diabetic. My Fiancé sent me a Tik Tok about fasting and how it can reset your body. The formula was fast for 36 hours then have 1 light healthy meal, fast for the next 36 hours then have a light healthy meal, then finally fast 1 more time for 36 hours and then back to eating, but stick to things on the healthier side…I got bloodwork and I lowered my A1c into the normal range. FASTING CHANGES LIVES. Now I FAST 1-3 times a week but I switch up from 16:8 to OMAD (24hr) , but now I want to try this 3 day fast…my body needs more healing!
I did a 3 day water fast last week for the first time. It was a brilliant experience. I Will be doing 3 day fast 4 times a year now Really felt it helped reset me both mentally and physically
I’m on day 2 post 3 day water fast. I don’t know why I’m exhausted and my energy levels are low and my head hurts. First day I broke my fast with green juice. Second day I took a bowl of cooked cabbage and 3 eggs. I took magnesium and minerals during the fasting. I don’t know what’s wrong
Hey Repetto, you may have experienced those symptoms because you were dehydrated and/or deficient in some vital minerals. Next time, consider staying much more hydrated with some additional Pink Himalayan Sea Salt or mineral drops to help prevent these deficiencies. -The FFP Team
Hello community! I did my first 3 day fast last week, and over the weekend, 3 days later, when I went out to eat, I noticed that I was getting full quickly and also, my body rejected food that wasn't healthy. I think it is because while fasting, on my "weak " moments, I was trying to eat something, usually junk food, and kept telling myself, this is not healthy for you. So I did that for as long as I fasted and realized that I wasn't training my body, I was training my mind to eat healthier. Today, I'm starting another 3 days, and I feel great about it. Y'all can do it,let's give it a try, and you will see the great results and the difference in mindset afterwards. 👌 😊
@vamplord111 I don't think so. Maybe for the first day, remember your body is going to use what's stored in it as energy, and since your not adding more of it, that means that you'll accelerate the burning process.
@@Vamplord111 start with a one day fast and see how you feel. If you were able to do that, next try a two day and see how you feel. If that works then next time try the three day.
I heard a RUclipsr talk about the first food being introduced back in needs to be ultra, healthy and light, because the body acts like a sponge. You’re resetting the body‘s response to nutrition, and if you throw junk food in there to come off of fast, the body slurps all that up and gets shocked by the fact it’s not actually food or nutrition so to speak. As I say to people, just because it fits in your mouth, does it mean it’s actually food. But it’s very critical to have high nutrient, dense food coming off of fast to help give your body nutrition It’s looking for to reset it properly. Of course you probably already know this.
I've done this 2 other times in the past 6months. This is is my 3rd one and I'm at the end of the 2nd day. I keep fantasizing about food, bought groceries and can't wait to cook again lol I was thinking of stopping early but this video and the comments are making me think I should definitely stick it out again.
Lots of RUclipsrs only talk about the fast and they ignore talking about how to break the fast which is more important than the fast itself. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.🙏🏼👍🏼
Am at Hour#22 of a planned 72 hour water fast Doing it the first time! These videos help to maintain motivation I find that I eat more out of boredom than due to hunger!!!
I'm on hour 30 now. Was a rough night sleeping on an empty stomach so hoping tonight will be better. Thanks for the info in the video. Very helpful and I hope it works out well for me. Good luck to all who are currently on this 72 hour fast.
@@lisal6242 Thank you. I had water with potassium, magnesium, and Himalayan pink salt, black coffee, and herbal teas (dandelion, burdock, stinging nettle, ginger, etc. No Lipton mess). Where are you on your journey?
I am a type 2 diabetic. Intermittent fasting did nothing for me. 5 weeks ago, I tossed all my diabetes meds, including insulin, and started 36 and 60 hour fasts between eating days. Occasionally, I have 2 eating days in a row (sometimes by accident, sometimes by choice). Eating days mean only 2 meals, and although I'm trying not to snack on eating days, it sometimes happens. So far, I have lost about 25 lbs (half way to my current goal of 200 lbs, but I may extend it to 180 lbs). Of course, weight loss is slowing down and expected. Previously, I was never able to stabilize my blood sugars - there was no way I could predict what would happen. Now, my blood sugar will spike above 10, but it quickly falls to below 7 or 6, then gradually falling as low as 4. I am within range 80-95% of the time (my target from my diabetes nurse, who disapproves of my new lifestyle, is 75%). I also eat much better, especially trying to avoid processed foods (especially sugar), and have increased my salt and fat intake. I sleep much better, have more energy, my mind is more alert, and there's no interference with working out (at any intensity). I never feel hungry, even with lots of tempting food around, or when I'm with others who are eating. Once I reach a comfortable weight, I will reduce the fasting, but there are so many benefits that it will always be part of my lifestyle. I fully expect my diabetes to quickly go into remission.
You may want to look into Jason Fung on RUclips. He’s an MD who works with kidney dialysis patients that are usually diabetic. His whole thrust is about long-term fasting to heal diabetes.
I’m almost on Day 7 in a few hours. Truth is, first day is normal. Second day is when you start feeling tired and hungry, but it is greatly mitigated by electrolytes. I just bought sea salt and No-Salt for the magnesium. 3rd day was like the second day to a lesser degree. 4th day, things get better. 5th day, I’m back to normal with a pep in my step. 6th day, I’m wanting to play basketball (I havent played basketball in years) I have been listening to David Goggins all morning, and I would say I had an above average amount of energy today. Tomorrow is day 7, and the end of my first week of water fasting. I’m doing 40 days and 40 nights.
@@not_right_now Feeling low energy today which was predicted, pretty much every thing predicted happened. Mental clarity at the 24 hour mark. Slight headaches 24 to 48 mark and low energy today. The weird thing predicted, skin will look better which I did not believe but I can not believe it I have some dry skin areas on my face and are 80% gone. Also I am a professional guitarist and I have slight inflammation and my hand feels better. How about you?
@@ShawnStaplesFreeGuitarLessons Your results seem promising ^^ I’m halfway done, 36 hours left, slight headache and not much hunger. Had salivary gland swelling due to inflammation (it keeps coming and going) it seems to have been reduced a bit. I’m glad your inflammation reduced
A couple things I'd suggest different with 3 plus day water fasting is to prepare for it by not eating and junk food 3-5 day prior to fasting and I prefer to start my 3 plus day water fast right after lunch so I start the ketos process earlier and when I break my fast I'm not eating til 5pm. Adding gratitude meditation to fasting also really helps the endocrine system be more balanced as well helps with keeping you in high vibration so we are not "hangry"
It was way easier to isolate & do 5 day fasts w/my husband. I’m currently day 3 of 5 day fasting & cooking for kids & husband. Bc I’m not eating, I’m learning about how much eating is something I do not just from hunger but habit, or eating & taste testing while cooking. I’m looking so forward to how crazy great I feel when it’s over! Thanks 🙏 for great info! PS: I’ve heard from Keto channels to drink pickle juice for salt…
I do a 3 day fast (3DF) once per month. I thought that was going to be a strain, but my body keeps asking for more. The rest of the month I do a 20/4 Intermittent fasting (IF). I have been doing IF for more than 5 years and 3DF for half a year. I used to have insulin resistance with all the issues it brings. Today I can say (while not getting younger) that I feel far better than 5 years ago. No insulin resistance, no overweight, no more bad tempers from not eating every two hours, no more cravings. Still have some issues that seem to slowly be getting better, specially since I started the 3DF. However, gout from high uric acid is something that started with me doing all this. I manage it with lemon water and at least 2.4 liters of water per day, but is there and I have to manage it. So, in short, you are going to feel far better doing this, but it is not a magic wand that will make you inmortal! You are mortal, you are going to die, you are going to get old and with age comes a lot of other complications.
did my first 60hr fast and ended this morning at 7am. I felt great, could have gone another12-24hrs. Lost just under 8lbs while drinking 1.5 -2 gallons of water per day. I also walked 2miles a day while doing this.
I have regularly fasted for 36 plus hours weekly, did 5, 7, 9 days and then went for a 40 day fast it was awesome! Have to ease back into food over several days to not get sick as digestive system wakes back up. Did 6 days last week and starting again tomorrow.
40 day fast? Only if you're obese, because that will drop your weight 20-25 lb, if you're on a smaller side. For anyone who is not obese, that will mean massive muscle mass loss.
Vegetable broth then moved to cooked veg then to fermented veggies and then eggs then bone broth then small amounts of meat .. progression over about 2 1/2 weeks.
My intuition told me to fast before my 40th birthday to clear out. This week I caught a virus decided to start. I’m at 46 hours. I don’t know how far I’ll go but I feel much better and I will do 3 days once a month moving forward ❤
Coming up to 48 hours in on my first 3 day fast. I’ve done a couple of 48 hours previously so know what to expect on day 2 - general lethargy and intense hunger that abates as the day progresses. I’m actually quite excited to go into day 3 to see how I feel. I’ll feel great whatever as I know there’s the trophy (food) at the end of it.
At age 70 I haven't been sick a day in my life. The older I get the less food I need. Don't eat after lunch. Have lots of fat and lard stored so will try a 3 day water fast.
Starting my water fast tomorrow the 28th of January 2023!Thanks to how well it's explained in this video! I am a muslim and i fast for a whole month every year and fast every other day from dawn to dusk. However i've never tried a water fast and i'm excited to give a try. It will get me well prepared for the coming Ramadhan in two months time.
Starting my fast with my partner we’re 16 hours in so far hunger is kicking a little but the water is suppressing it a bit. This has motivated me to push through it!
How did it go? Did you go 3 days? I'm doing my 4th fast of more than 20 hours right now. I did 23h, 25h and 37h recently so I'm aiming for 48 hours this time. 25 hours in and about to go to bed so looking good.
Very good information. i made a lifestyle change this year to between 16/8 and 21/3 fasting.. with 48 and 72 thrown in during the year. i will say this, 72 was ROUGH... i had done 48's with no issues what so ever, but 72 pushed my limits.. the last 6hrs of day 3 were pretty tough. weak.. and HANGRY! i pushed through but man.. it was rough. i do plan on throwing in 48's and maybe another 72 during the year and information like yours does help ALOT! thank you..
Thanks for the great info! This was very encouraging and informative. I started my first 3-day fast 4 days ago. Up until day 3, no hunger, moderate energy, and felt good enough to walk a couple miles. I used a commercial electrolyte water, green tea, and one cup of coffee each morning (because I cannot survive without coffee). A week before the fast I cut my carbs majorly (I practice modified Keto for life!) so I'd have fewer carbs to burn through. Then, with just 8 hrs to go (hour 64), I became so extremely shaky, dizzy, and weak that I decided to break the fast with bone broth and IMMEDIATELY recovered. I had plain Greek yogurt and a dill pickle an hour later. At first, I felt like a total failure, but soon realized I'd accomplished something significant. I'm thinking I might not have hydrated enough. Anyway, I will try again next month and hope to complete the fast. I suppose there were still great benefits. You've given me the incentive to try again when I was just thinking extended fasting might not be for me!
@@FitfatherprojectThe worst part is how bad your stomach hurts trying to sleep when it's empty it keeps you up all night, that's when people cave, Any recommendations?😮
So glad you addressed some of the less charming ways on might feel! I have been feeling like crap on day 2 & every other video I have seen just spoke about how great you will be feeling by this time in the fast! Good to know this can also be part of the process!
Just finished my first 3-day fast. I drank mostly water, but I also had bone broth, pickle juice, black coffee, liquid chlorophyll and a hydration multiplier. I also had a steak and some sweet potatoes to break my fast.
Thank you so much. I am currently on my 65 hour. And I started feeling so so hungry, dizzy, lethargic. But I really want to finish my goal of 3 days and next month 7 days. Your video has helped me really much right now. I don’t know if I’ve made a mistake by drinking green tea with a spoon of coconut water. Thank you.
Great video! A scant 18 hours into a 3-Day (my second ever)…For me, the mental part is definitely the most challenging. Informative, motivating, and perfect scope. 🙌
For me it's the extreme hunger pangs...mentally it's fun knowing every hour that passes your burning fat...when your eating even small amounts you can't be assured your in fat burning mode but you most certainly know your burning fat after 24 hours
The day after ending a 5+ day fast I always feel absolutely amazing. It literally feels like it cleaned my brain up (Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s studies say that autophagy works more slowly in the brain).
I got SOOO excited when you said fruit is best to break fasts, i've started incorporating so much more fruit in my life by eating that for break fast everyday then i also did a 10 day fruit fast. unfortunately I have in past day 10 and ate a burrito at like 1 am, but then i decided to research more about prolonged fasting (longest i've done is 3/4 days. I'm currently now on 84+ hrs of my current fast and it's such an experience, i hope everyone eventually reaches this knowledge to give themself the best gift of all, letting go.
Fruit is very hard on the liver since it is the only digestion pathway for fructose. Might wanna look into bone broth, fats, proteins, and vegetables to break fast in the future. I personally disagree with breaking a fast with fruit since it’s so shocking to the body to bring in that much sugar.
I take Gabapentin for pinched nerves, Levothyroxine for thyroid cancer and vitamin D3 from lack of sun from melanoma. As long as my doctor says I’ll be ok, I plan on doing this next week.
Bout to start my 1st 3 day fast i'm really excited to try this. This was one of the most helpful videos i found on RUclips thanks ill tap back in after my 3 days
Nice video. Usually I do a dry fast on the first day, then water fast the next 2 days. I might add a 4th day where I do a broth, vegetable, or herbal tea fast or a combination of the three. After that I add soft foods to transition into eating solids.
We did a three day water fast every week for one month we both lost the weight, we had gained . It helps to start the fast around noon, so when you resume eating it is just easier to start at noon. When I felt super sick on the fast, my ND told me to take an activated charcoal empty the capsule into a glass of water and drink it to absorb toxins. It helped me to feel better. According to Dr. Berg the last day of a three day water could be a dry fast because it increases autophagy by 3x.
Ive done a 7 day fast, and i gotta tell you i felt amazing. Just so much calmness and clarity, yeah i probably couldnt do a PB in the gym, but that wasnt the point. I just focused on cardio and went for walks, keeping myself occupied. Ive done IF for several years, and i am used to fasting, but for people who are new to this, i'd recommend to start with 16/8, and stick with that until you feel you can go towards 20/4. I lost around 4kgs in 7 days, mostly water weight, but some fat loss aswell. Great video by the way!
@@robertmendez2293 I dont care if you're a doctor or not, my opinion was that day 3 was the hardest. Day 5-6 & 7 was fairly easy, but i felt that i had to eat at day 7. Mostly because i felt ive done so much i those days, and couldnt keep myself as occupied as before. After day 5, i realized that if i didnt occupied myself, i started thinking about food for no reason. Everyone is different, i get that. But theres no harm of trying new things, and the 7 day went flawless for me more or less.
I haver to try this. My wife does it with ease on a monthly basis (3 days-water fast) and I observe her skin is superbly clean and smooth without the myriad of advertized skin products. Actually, she does not use any or them and her skin is glowy; I reckon it's a byproduct of the cleansing.
I have experienced this also with only intermittent fasting. My skin is becoming flawless and I've stopped using commercial creams as I'm told they're filled with estrogen. Instead I'm using avocado oil mixed with some essential oils.
Love this dude so everybody got there fasting story’s and it’s super impressive I never fasted before my first time was a week ago and I only went 24 hours then I got cranky and ate something but since then I’ve only ate one meal a day (dinner) and it’s amazing how much you can take out of something like fasting. Our ancestors didn’t have the luxury to eat what they wanted when they wanted. By not eating 3 meals a day I realize how much clearer I think and how to conserve my energy. Next time I’m doing 48 hours but it’s definitely part of my lifestyle tho thanks for the video bro wish I saw this when I was fasting probably would of made it to 48
I'm two days into my 3-day fast, checking out a few videos on RUclips, and after watching yours and one by dr. Sten Ekberg on reintroducing food after a longer fast, I've decided I'm going to do a 3-day fast on a monthly basis for the next 3 months and see how I like the results. For the next 30 days, I will be eating only on even-numbered days, therefore fasting a complete 24 hours every other day. Some may find this excessive, but I have been eating / fasting on alternating days for over a week now, and I am convinced I want to try it for a month or so, evaluate, get my labs done, and see then how I proceed. I'm stoked and am looking forward to the discoveries I make.
I've just finished 3,5 days (85h) fast. I was planning to go 7-10 days but I've started feeling horrible. I was definitely dehydrated despite drinking a tone of water with salt, and my blood sugar was going dangerously low. At about 72h mark in the evening it was 3.7, however the next morning (measured it twice within 2h) it was 3.3 and then 3.2. I've had 2 pregnancies with diabetes, and more than sure that I have IR. I've done keto, IF, OMAD and 24h fasts before, and hadn't had any problems. Could you open the topic of low and decreasing blood sugar levels while fasting?
Why are you checking your blood sugar while on a water fast. The body has a way of managing itself. Moreover most of this benefits kick in when the sugar becomes low.
Sodium is a poison. No animal eats salt unless a human gives it to them. An exception is not the norm. Mainstream makes money off sick people. Salt is just another business.
I had 2 cups of tea one in the morning and one in afternoon in 18 hrs and this is the first time I'm into fasting. I can't say i feel tired at this point but my mind is tricking me that im getting sick and i need to eat .But my will power is strong i won't stop till 24 hrs .🙌🙌 When I'm used to 24 hr fasting next i will level up to 3 days fasting 🤝🤝
@@marvelousyiS That's great brother. I am also Doing it, Today is my 3rd and last day for the fast. But i am not losing weight, just lost 0.5 Kg till now from 52 hour fast.
For those who thought about water fasting, it's really not that bad. I do a 3 day fast once a year for my digestive health. Curbing the hunger is helpful for maintaining a healthy diet afterward. I'm more than content with my healthy diet after a 3 day fast, that's for sure!

I'm 65 years old and I been 3 day fasting for over 20 years never been on any meds and I still have all my hair. I fast for 3 days the last Sunday of every month and 7 days after the new year. I only eat watermelon or melons for breakfast and that might be at 11/12 than dinner at 430/530 no matter how long the fast is I drink a ton of water at the time I would normally eat and that makes it easier.
I usually watch Dr. Eric Berg on RUclips for health recommendations and fasting but I stumbled upon this video. WOW! This is so informative and spot on. The advice he gives is accurate and has proven to have multiple benefits. I do regular 24 hour fasting every week and do 72 hour fasting like maybe once every four months. It has helped me so much. Clear mind. Better skin, no inflammation. This video added to my knowledge of the benefits of fasting. Thanks!

I’m on my third day fast and haven’t felt hungry. I’m going to see how I feel and either stop today or go for two more days for five days, or even seven. I guess I’ll see how it goes. I’ve been listening to fasting utubes to help me stay focussed and to plan how to reseed wisely.
Started last night. I’ve done 48 hour fasts before so I’m hoping to get through a 78 hour fast. Mainly bc I’ve gained 10 pounds and want it off asap. I’ll keep you posted
So I made it to 61 hours. I lost a bit over 3 kilos. The last night before breaking my fast I went to bed freezing and slept a bit more restless. However, I feel great and lost my sweet cravings. I think I'm going to fast 1 day a week to get more in the habit of fasting, and also remind myself to eat more consciously. I will try it again next month to make a full 72 hours.
So far spot on! Im on day 2 and although my brain is thinking of food my stomach is feeling fine. Tomorrow is day 3 and if i feel good ill try day 4 and take it one day at a time. Id be surprised if i make it past day 4 though.
In india, people from Hinduism and Jainism have been doing this fasting practices for centuries. Anywhere from single day fasting to alternate day and continuous fasting for 3-6 weeks.

Hey Doc, I am finishing up my first 72 hour fast...wasnt sure I could do it but surprisingly its been easier than I thought. My brother who was doing in with me gots too symptomatic on day one. However he has an A1C of 5.7 so he took his metformin which I told him probably not a good move. I will now incorporate this at least quarterly and with start a 24 hour fast weekly....thanks for the great advice. I'm 63 and just started an 18 hours fast a couple days ago ( you gotta start somewhere), cause I was feeling all bloated and lethargic and been struggling with an inflammation on my left thigh( which I thought was due to heavy squats). After the 18 hours fast I made the mistake by having too large a meal around lunch time 12 noon ( you should brake the fast slowly with some fruit or bone broth ), went the the gym by 3pm and had a protein shake post work out at 4:30pm. So in the evening I had the most horrible stomach ache/cramp for hours so I skipped dinner. Around 2 am it finally subsided. The next day I decided to change my breakfast which has been pork/rice porridge since I live in Thailand so quite common around here. And normally around lunch I would have an omelette with tomatoes, garlic, bell peber and spinach and some dark rice. So I have been eating quite healthy and going to the gym 5 times a week so in pretty good shape. But I suspected recently that I was consuming too many carbs and over eating, so now on a low carb diet. So I think a combination of the 18 hours fast and low carb diet helped a lot, because I feel much better now, more energy for sure, higher mental clarity and the gut bloating has gone and best of all the inflammation in my left thigh has gone too. Yihaaa... So now I eat 3 fried eggs, 2 slices of multi grain toasted bread with cheese and a bowl of Greek Yogurt with a cereal mix and some fresh fruit for breakfast. Can't wait to do the 3 day fast next because of the extra benefits of autophagy, HGH increase, getting rid of old cells and boosting the immune system in general.

Would I still be able to keep up the rigorous pace at work while doing a water only fast?
@vamplord111 I don't think so. Maybe for the first day, remember your body is going to use what's stored in it as energy, and since your not adding more of it, that means that you'll accelerate the burning process.
@@Vamplord111 start with a one day fast and see how you feel. If you were able to do that, next try a two day and see how you feel. If that works then next time try the three day.
Break the fast with soups all day it juices

Thank you.
GOOD! It makes me very happy to hear you're applying all this info and seeing results. RESPECT :-)

Awesome my friend! Thank you very much 😊
🙌
The day after ending a 5+ day fast I always feel absolutely amazing. It literally feels like it cleaned my brain up (Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s studies say that autophagy works more slowly in the brain).
🙏
When I do water fast my memory fails
I got SOOO excited when you said fruit is best to break fasts, i've started incorporating so much more fruit in my life by eating that for break fast everyday then i also did a 10 day fruit fast.
unfortunately I have in past day 10 and ate a burrito at like 1 am, but then i decided to research more about prolonged fasting (longest i've done is 3/4 days.
I'm currently now on 84+ hrs of my current fast and it's such an experience, i hope everyone eventually reaches this knowledge to give themself the best gift of all, letting go.
Awesome my friend! TY 🙌
Fruit is very hard on the liver since it is the only digestion pathway for fructose. Might wanna look into bone broth, fats, proteins, and vegetables to break fast in the future. I personally disagree with breaking a fast with fruit since it’s so shocking to the body to bring in that much sugar.
@@Beowulf-wt3kb avocado works too.
I did a 14 day water fast, and my daughter did a 30 day one
💪
Awesome my friend! Thank you very much 🙏
We did a three day water fast every week for one month we both lost the weight, we had gained .
I don’t understand the last sentence.
Awesome my friend 👍
@@sharoncollins7722 by dry fast, they mean that on the last day they do not drink any water
Thank you for this comment and praise!! It legitimately means so much to me and inspires me to produce more awesome videos like this 🙏
I'm sorry but no way you felt amazing. I don't recommend anybody as a doctor to do a 7-Day fast
@@robertmendez2293You at no doctor
Day 3 of my 7 day fast… feeling great and this video has really helped.. thanks 🙏
You are very welcome!! Very good job so far 👏🏼👏🏼
How was your fast?

I haver to try this. My wife does it with ease on a monthly basis (3 days-water fast) and I observe her skin is superbly clean and smooth without the myriad of advertized skin products. Actually, she does not use any or them and her skin is glowy; I reckon it's a byproduct of the cleansing.
Great skin (without products) is a reflection of great inner heath! Your wife is on it and I’m glad you’re interested in following her example 💯🙏🏼
I have experienced this also with only intermittent fasting. My skin is becoming flawless and I've stopped using commercial creams as I'm told they're filled with estrogen. Instead I'm using avocado oil mixed with some essential oils.
We Muslims do daily fast during Ramadan.. thanks for the information..
You’re very welcome 🙏🏼
We christians fast for Christ the true God
Love this dude so everybody got there fasting story’s and it’s super impressive I never fasted before my first time was a week ago and I only went 24 hours then I got cranky and ate something but since then I’ve only ate one meal a day (dinner) and it’s amazing how much you can take out of something like fasting. Our ancestors didn’t have the luxury to eat what they wanted when they wanted. By not eating 3 meals a day I realize how much clearer I think and how to conserve my energy. Next time I’m doing 48 hours but it’s definitely part of my lifestyle tho thanks for the video bro wish I saw this when I was fasting probably would of made it to 48
xYou’re welcome brother! I’m glad you found this vid and got a lot out of it 🙏🏼🔥💯
I'm two days into my 3-day fast, checking out a few videos on RUclips, and after watching yours and one by dr.
Awesome my friend! good luck 🙌
Could you open the topic of low and decreasing blood sugar levels while fasting?
my 7 day water fast, my blood sugar is 62mg/dl but feel great..im running on ketones
IR??
Insulin resistance
Why are you checking your blood sugar while on a water fast. The body has a way of managing itself. Moreover most of this benefits kick in when the sugar becomes low.
Sodium is a poison. No animal eats salt unless a human gives it to them. An exception is not the norm. Mainstream makes money off sick people. Salt is just another business.
I had 2 cups of tea one in the morning and one in afternoon in 18 hrs and this is the first time I'm into fasting. I can't say i feel tired at this point but my mind is tricking me that im getting sick and i need to eat .But my will power is strong i won't stop till 24 hrs .🙌🙌
When I'm used to 24 hr fasting next i will level up to 3 days fasting 🤝🤝
Now it's 38 hrs

Amazing content my man , absolutely brilliant. God Bless You 😃👌🙏
I usually watch Dr. Thanks!

Its not over til 7pm so I will break it with 6oz of egg whites and slice of Ezekiel bread.

I'm starting my 3 days water fast today. Wish me luck
