Man, Nomah is so fun in Echoes. Rather than being the typical serious old sage, he's got a great sense of humor. He teases Celica, including in his battle quotes. His voice acting is fantastic. Honestly I think he's at least a top half character in Echoes in terms of being fun to listen to, and that's saying something, considering how strong the cast is.
I used a villager fork on Nomah just so I could turn him into a Dread Fighter. Seeing and old man run, jump and teleport all over the place just made me laugh so much, especially when his support with Celica says he has a sore back lmao
As someone who also finds him wanting to join Celica's party but getting lost funny I've got one question. HOW DID HE REACH THE BACK ROOM OF THE TEMPLE BASEMENT BEFORE THE WATER WAS LOWERED? Was he just that good of a swimmer or did he sneak into the temple offscreen between the end of Act 3 & start of Act 4?
Popularity is an interesting thing to observe in the Fire Emblem series. There are lot of common characteristic that unpopular characters share: Late join time, bad performance, recruited in unique circumstances (such as paralogues, unpopular routes, etc.) and most interestingly, joining situation. Maribelle for example often dies in her joining chapter, if the player is careless, and is the lesser healer compared to Libra and Anna, so she is relatively unpopular compared to the other first generation charaters.
As one who has contributed 4 out of Macellan’s 11 votes, I can say with confidence that he is actually better than Dolph in FE12. His higher starting bow rank means he can reclass to a sniper and have A rank bows, and thus use the Parthia (he’s a better sniper than Tomas because of this ironically). Also him barging into the kitchen and Ramsaying Kris is pretty funny.
I mean, is anyone a worse Sniper than Tomas? I don't play FE12 at all (and certainly not at a high level in any FE game) but I'm inclined o believe that it's easy to find units better than Tomas
I think it's really interesting how in FE11, Dolph is the one with the better growths and is the overall better unit, while in FE12 the reverse is true. I remember I'd frequently grind up Macellan in the prep menu arena because of his high growths and late join time in case my Knights in that playthrough ended up being underwhelming. He's almost like an armored Est in that game, funnily enough. I think both of their redesigns in the remakes look really cool, by the way! They both make Draug look like a baby-faced wimp from a purely visual standpoint.
I love how FE12 has that handful of random units who are awful but are nonetheless better than the other awful units solely because they can reclass into immediate Parthia access.
I think one factor you didn't mention for Luke being in last for FE3 is that he's been in FEH since Book 2. A lot of people vote the way they do in CYL because it helps that character be noticed by the devs so that they get put into the game and fans of lesser known or beloved characters are satisfied just seeing them get in FEH in the first place.
The funny think about Luke is that, during CYL1 his position was low (he had 75 votes overall), but expected from a japanese only character; but unlike other characters that benefited of escaping japanese only status that gained more votes (or remained mostly the same like Mathilda), Luke just keeps falling, and falling... and falling.
Thank you think gate keeper get in because of just popularity people just want use him.thing is like lysthiea over blyeth too .if character already in game votes seem go down too.
I'm not afraid to say Luke was my first... Pitybroke I still have him, in his unperturbed +3 state on my barracks, warming that space because he's a constant reminder of that pain
One of Deimne's votes belongs to me actually. I did a substitute run of FE4 a while back and he ended up being a favorite of mine and he became a meme to me. I figured that if no one else would throw him a vote that I would. Sadly, his low placement is likely justified by him being a replacement character in an old Japanese-only game. Not only that, but Edain is the easiest mother to pair due to joining the earliest and having a lot of easy pairings. Not only that, but it's also easy to keep her out of combat, so she won't die. The odds were really just stacked against him.
Edain is the second easiest mother if we count Eryn x Lewyn with that talk in chapter 4 that marry both even with their base love points, making them the easiest pair in the game, being the only one that a LTC player can do without a turn penalty.
I just want Daddy Hicks to be in Heroes okay? He's incredibly neat, major dad goals, and while screwed over by Kaga Era development-shortage, I think hes got the makings of a nice character. Plus, hes a good unit. I think he is anyway :) Frankly, however, I'm SHOCKED to this very day that good boy Darros got in, which makes me happy even IF he's a pirate event alt-type character.
I remember seeing Nomah in a RUclips video for Fire Emblem Echoes and I straight up thought he was 1 of the DLC units! Wasn't until much later that I discovered you could recruit him which for me was after I'd beaten the game.
Honestly I knew he was recruitable, I just didn't know when, and completely missed him the first time around. Only got him to complete most of the supports on my first run, and dropped him for my already very good Boey.
Big shoutout to my boy Glade, who went from zero to hero by being dead last in CYL 1, to an impressive 352nd place with 535 votes of meme power in CYL 2. He has been falling since but never again shall he fall to the depths he once found himself in.
the problem for a lot of characters would be the fact that they're directly outclassed by other characters in the same archetype in certain ways, and thus even the people that could vote for them just don't. like i don't think most that would consider Yoder a real vote would actually consider him over Athos, an infinitely cooler old dude with far more prominent unit significance.
Does anyone want to use the eleventh hour old man character? No? Did everyone else die?!? (I actually like Nomah and Yoder, but no surprise they don't exactly come first to mind in these CYL polls)
even though it was on the thumbnail I can't get over how low Luke is. Barring draft races and probably challenge runs I have not seen a single playthrough of fe12 where Luke wasn't used. I'm sure they exist and out of the three earlygame cavs, I find Cecille to be my personal favourite but even then luke's overbearing presence especially in fe12 makes it really impressive how low he is here. EDIT: Actually most people who play fe12 have probably never touched feh outside of maybe the opening maps and then put it down, so it's not really surprising.
So they're the Fire Emblem equivalent of Simisear? Except they're not immune to Burn. (Also Conomore 64 looks great. I am sure many would die for this moustache)
@@aubreyh1930 I like all the elemental monkeys honestly. They're pretty useful in Black and White (especially Simisear, since Fire Type are limited early on)
i'll always thought that would be so cool if they were antagonist should you not play them, that would add to their backstory and explain why you don't play them when you play non-sub character
In the game files for Fire Emblem 5 there can be found unused portraits for who apoear to be Arthur, Asaello, the replacement for Favall, Daisy, the replacement for Paddy, Hermina, the replacement for Fee and Jeanne, the replacement for Nanna. I find the last one especially interesting because Jeanne can be the adoptive daughter of Finn and thus, a foster sibling to Leif.
@@ericamborsky3230 Yeah I hacked Jeanne into the game because of this. Jeanne and her brother actually are the children of one of Lachesis Knights if I'm not mistaken btw.
@@domicraft6341 antagonist doesn't mean evil, they can be mercenaries to feed children victime under the lopto empire like asaelo, and they don't necessarily need to be all antagonist, like muirne can be a NPC protecting children from the child hunt and you must save these green units. Pretty much use them like that.
All of Macolov's votes are likely from trolls. Like when a lot of FEH haters voted Camilla to second place over Bernadetta just to spite the community.
@@krimsonkatt The Camilla situation always felt odd to me due to the fact that in every CYL she always very high. CYL 1 she got 4th. CYL 2 she got 3rd and then in CYL 3 she got 2nd. By the time CYL 3 did come around there was a large backlash against Camilla for her latest Alt but to say that is the only reason she won is just off by a large margin
@@MrThefoo42 my speculation is that she had the makings of an amazing character with a deep backstory, so many fans are willing to see the best in her. also she has a subset of fans who are just interested in her sex appeal
Man, what a legend. Despite his love for Yoder he listened to the communities thoughts on him and included him on this list. I have massive respect right now. Still though, RIP Yoder.
In regards to Conomor, his A route counterpart Amalda scored considerably better than him, ranking at 387th with 123 votes. Still not great, but it goes to show that even within just his own game, Conomor is losing popularity contests.
I think the biggest issue is that anyone who is actually playing Thracia at this point is probably looking up info on the game, and if you do that you know the A route is just way better than B route and that Amalda is flat out better than Conomor anyway, so even if you know of his existence and know he's playable you probably still think of him as "the guy I get instead of a better unit if I take the stupid route"
@@crimsoncutz8430 And Amalda vs Conomor isn't even the true reason why you go for A, Sleuf if 100 better that Miranda (probably the worst unit in the game or at least the worst magic unit) and Misha is better that Shanam because in Thracia you don't need to buy items, you steal. Route B has those exclusive weapons and Sarah one chapter earlier, but only 1 sleep sword and you need to steal the scroll when in the the A route it comes with Sleuf.
EDIT: I know this comment should be for the next video which would include FE8, but I'm dumb. Hayden is so underrated, even though he is incredibly important as a background character. He assists the twins throughout the entire game, treating them like his own children (one of his own kind of disobeyed him and went out on her own). It was him that sent Vanessa and Moulder the Boulder to help Eirika in the early game, and his elite soldiers to capture Grado capital with Ephraim. If he isn't there or refuses to help Eirika, the story would go exactly nowhere... or Seth would have to solo the game, which may not be all that bad I guess. Too bad he isn't recruitable in the main campaign, which he should have been.
I mean it would be different. Considering that they put Gatekeeper and dancer Marianne in and they are both memes it would not be out of the realm of possibility.
I actually voted on Reiden. Good to know there were 8 others along with me... Personally, I adored a lot of the character designs in FE New Mystery of the Emblem, and had always wished for more of the characters in it to be added. I was extremely hyped for the most recent banner when they added the Coyote's Guard and Malice. Wolf, Sedgar and Malice were among my absolute favorites in FENME and FESD, so now I can finally add them to my teams. Now if only they add Nolan...
I remember seeing THE LUKE at the bottom and was really down about it. He provides a lot of nice moments early FE12 and I love the guy pity breaks and all!
To be fair I think Fire Emblem is one of the more divided communities among gamers. I didn't know about the series myself until GameCube "Path of Raidience". So when it comes to what games and characters veterans of the series know versus newcomers. I think it safe to say that most members of the community are just more aware of the newer stuff. Great video Ghast as always 👍
1. Unappealing and/or boring visual design. 2. Unlikely to be recruited due to difficult or tedious requirements. 3. Unlikely to be deployed due to the presence of better units within their niche. 4. Distasteful or boring personality. Those are the reasons I can think of. If a character has one or maybe two of these traits, it's not going to be a dealbreaker. (Ex: Karla in FE7 is *_awful_* to recruit and *_useless_* in combat, but her character design is very appealing and the contrasting personalities between her and Bartre make for some fun interactions.) But if they have three or more of these traits, it's a death sentence. Though I can't think of a character that has great visual design but has a boring personality, is difficult to recruit and is outclassed by everyone. If you guys can think of one, please let me know.
sad to see connomor so low, I stan FE5 B route and i always liked his character. Might throw him a vote in CYL6 now that my past votee Roshea just got added.
Now let it sink in that Pamela, a very unnoteworthy character in Fe4 got in before Midia just because her child is playable in Fe5. Edit: It was Dithorba, not Pamela.
Funny enough, I actually don't mind using Luke. It helps that he appeared with +Atk, so he can get some decent power output. He's not a staple, and would definitely benefit from a demotion to the 3*-4* pool, but he's not terrible. Sadly, his characterization is garbage. Not as bad as Makalov, of course, but he's pretty pathetic.
It baffles me people think Luke of all Gen 1 units is bad when the majority of them are absolute garbage in Feh now just due to powercreep, by contrast Luke is swinging an 11-17mt Brave Sword with a higher Spd stat than Swordhardt so he’s even more consistent with his quads. I’m not gonna say that he’s like super good now but compared to most Gen 1’s he’s great. But hey if you meme that he’s useless eventually people are gonna believe it when no one actually uses him.
Honestly? With their designs and personality I'm not surprised people don't like them as much, don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Nomah, he's a great grandpa type character with an amazing sense of humor (there's not a single playable character in SoV that has a bad personality, I will fight you on that), and Yoder surprisingly also has a soft spot in my heart, but we all know FE fans want fanservice rather than personality, even how useful they are in their respective games isn't valid since people choose weaker but better looking characters over them all the time (Sorry Sofia and Nino stans, they're adorable, but they require a ton of investment to be good in the first place). That's my theory at least, fanservice > utility and/or personality.
@@icarusmarioFAN i am not sure. He is not the most popular of the kids, but he not Kjelle levels of umpopular. Its most likely Hisame or one of the capturable bosses
The one time I played FE6 I used Yoder. I didn't feel like training up a Cleric/Priest when Clarine was there so I had no one to use light magic. Yoder came with A-rank light magic so I trained him up a bit and boom, someone to use Aureola. So seeing him here is a bit sad.
3:22 Luke's unpopularity probably has more to do with him being an infamous Pity Breaker on Red in FEH than his actual character. He's a trash tier, 5Star locked character with little to no fodder opportunity, so whenever he shows up, he ruins your day. With Red being the most popular color in FEH by a considerable margin given that approximately 90% of the series' main characters being sword users and a bevy of popular dark mages also ending up in red, you are shockingly likely to get pity broken by Luke. In a game where it can cost a pretty considerable amount of money or F2P Orbs to get a 5 Star, and you aren't even guaranteed to even have the opportunity to summon on the color you want, getting pity broken by an F-Tier unit is just one of the worst things that can happen to you. 6:16 The "Substitute" Genealogy characters have some really dark fates in the manga. Seriously. That might be why he's not very popular, or people don't know he exists since his mother is a pretty popular character so they always have her marry someone. 10:00 Just gonna take a wild guess and say the Three Houses Least Popular Character based on CYL is probably that bandit guy you fight at the very beginning of the game or Thales.
Honestly just sounds like the list of units who are overshadowed by better ones or forgetful in story being so late or a sub to an alternative unit as a whole. Can't wait to see part 2 where we see stuff in later games as that should be interesting. I wanna see awakening and fates mostly
@@Oayah I doubt it. Peri is a girl so she may get more votes in general I fell yarne in awakening will be bottom. Gates probably a kid unit like the armor guy or Percy. Reverse list. Top 4 units of the popularlaity poll and why they are so likable. Would love to hear about why the community likes a unit and what's make them so great like memes or great story like the guardsmen
I have to admit, as someone who came in with Awakening and has just recently started going back to the games before that, I wonder if some portion of certain characters lack of popularity is because of people like me within the fanbase who simply don't even know who they are. I've watched a lot of videos (yours included) on the older games, so I have at least some point of reference when they come up. But I would be unlikely to vote for them over a familiar character, unless the more familiar character was someone I just straight up hated.
I actually like Nomah. I don't think he's anything special but I liked his role in the story and it was fun to use him for a bit. He just gets overshadowed by Alm's late game recruit in Mycen.
for me it really has to do with class distribution. Celica's route already starts with 3 mages and you can pick one up along the way in Sonya. (who chooses deen? lol) Nomah showing up as another sage with no speed or defense doesn't help.
I remember stumbling across Nomah in my playthrough of Shadows of Valentia. While I was at that point too exhausted to grind for a few hours in making him stronger, I did find him useful for the AoE healing with the swamp levels that were coming after his recruitment.
To answer your questions No Because they are from games 80% of the current fanbase don't even know exist, if anything I'll like to know how these casts rank among one another because I can't imagine anyone besides the MCs are particularly higher than them Yes
This might be hard to explain, but I’d love to see a video on characters that seem normal but through supports you realize that they actually have extremely tragic backstories. For example, characters like Libra (parents thought he was possessed and abandoned him, lived on the streets, has scars from life threatening injuries, haphephobic, watched all his comrades die, and is fighting a dark side that scares even Tharja) or Mercedes (birth father died, noble house disbanded, mother forced to marry abusive noble, hated by her step-family, step-father tries to marry her, sold by the church to be “adopted” for her crest, and then finds out her long lost brother is actually a serial killer who murdered their entire step-family)
@@applejuice565 Oh the step-father definitely deserved to die. Unfortunately though, killing your dad is generally a no-no so Jeritza was forced to be on the run
While I agree, in all fairness, its better to look at CYL votes as people voting potentially for the same person over and over again, or same group of individuals. To truly see who is the "least desirable" would be giving a poll to any FE fan with every FE game and tell them they had to pick 5 characters from every game they liked. And they would just go off of physical characteristics if they knew nothing of the game. Rather than CYL where I spammed Alm to death almost every vote in CYL3 XD. Like it doesn't mean I don't want any of the other characters to get brave versions....it literally means I just wanted Alm to get a spot above all else.
I never look at these results past the front page. I find it depressing to see where some of my favorites might have ended up. I have pretty generic tastes, but even so I always get sad when I don't see my favorite high up
I know this applies for me but sometimes we're so focused on the characters that are absolute favorites, it's easy for other characters we just find we like are forgotten. A lot of these on the list are either niche or plain and just get outshined by everyone else who fans just prefer
Poor Pope Santa, I remember liking him in Echoes. The most unpopular character I've been voting for is Cervantes from Awakening. He has a mustache and the amazing quote "Like a belt around the waist of defeat, you shall buckle here!"
So many of these placements break my heart... I'm an avid player of the original Fire Emblem Trading Card Game, and Macellan is one of the best units in the game by far. He hits like a truck, has a tonne of health, has solid movement after promotion, and Armors in that game have the ability to prevent adjacent units from moving, incredibly useful in a game where the main win condition is seize. Deimne is easily my favourite FE4 character. He's such a relatable everyman and has a personality that far surpasses Lester's nothing of a character. His convo with Karin and Muirne are genuinely sweet and make him really relatable for someone like me who often feels inadequate. Plus, he's better than most Lesters imo. Lester doesn't have Pursuit by default and has a much lower Strength base. And Conomor? Come on. Just look at that stache! Total badass. You already touched on Yoder so I'd just like to add that he solos whichever route you don't complete just to obtain the missing legendary weapon for Chapter 21. The dude's powerful.
Yoder being so low is a crime, I also don't think Luke deserves to be this low hes not that bad. He's a good unit in New Mystery with a character archetype that is very popular as is
Poor Dice, everyone overlooks him over Malice, even though in OG BSFE his Devil Axe was a godsend in the episode he was in. Reiden's at least more deserving of his low popularity in regards to how generic he is.
I didn’t find Nomah until I **after** beating the main story XD I definitely think how missable he is as well as literally every other character outshining him in memorability hurts his case.
Nomah has always been one of my favorites from Echoes. Due to his poor speed, I'd usually slap the Dracoshield on him to turn him into a tanky, albeit weak meme unit.
Beat FE2 awhile back and I just learned from this video Nomah was recruitable. I thought it was weird he was seen as important and then never really appeared again...
I have a personal theory that the reason why Yoder is so unpopular is because he comes with the saint’s staff and if you’re playing very quickly and not looking, you can accidentally use one of the durabilities of the staff if one of your units got chipped or got an HP level up and you aren’t paying attention on what staff you’re using while healing.
I knew that FE4 substitutes scored poorly, but I didn't notice until now that Deimne, one of the MVPs of my substitute run and my favorite substitute, scored the worst of all. Definitely I shall spare at least one vote for him on the next CYL.
I voted for Roberto because of a meme draft run of fe12. It caused him to be above Reiden in the end. Without me Roberto would've been in his spot in this video.
Unfortunately, I know like nothing about 90% of FE characters, so while these videos are informative, it’s hard to feel any attachment on account of the fact I haven’t played most FE games.
Sorry Ghast, but my CYL5 votes went something like this: Gatekeeper, Kieran, then I realized you can vote for the same character multiple times, and then Gatekeeper won CYL5.
I wonder who is the most popular of the least popular characters. And I'm not looking forward to finding out who is the least popular 3H character. I love almost all of them!
i looked up the CYL5 results, so if you want a brief sneak peek, here is the least popular 3H character according to CYL. note that i spaced out a bit during some of the scrolling, so it might not be entirely accurate, but i am too lazy to double check unplayable: tomas (494th place, 9 votes) playable: gilbert (423rd place, 84 votes) in case you are curious, the characters at the very bottom at 500th place are alder and dolph with a grand total of 2 votes each
@@Underworlder5 oh, it's only Gilbert. Alright then. He was a missed opportunity to explain why the F anyone would willingly rejoin with Feral Dimitri outside of duty.
@@wanderlustwarrior honestly, i am not surprised he was the lowest ranked playable character. his main characterization is "deadbeat dad who throws himself pity parties". not exactly a recipe for a likeable character
@@wanderlustwarrior also, i took another look at the poll. the playable character just above gilbert was hanneman at 339th place and 182 votes. kind of disappointing, but considering his battle prowess and first impression, i understand
Honestly I thought Conomor and Xavier had really good recruitment conversations and I used both during my playthrough of thracia. I also like Luke, but I would never vote for him because he is already in heroes and i would rather vote for characters that are not.
I feel bad for luke , I’ve played that game with the english patch to translate . Luke supports and alongside the random talks you get with checking in on your army gave me a few laughs.
An observation I made watching this, and I am curious to see if it continues, is that all of these characters that are the least popular, are male. Not surprising with how much FE has become waifu bait, but something I noticed.
There is also the simple fact that in fire emblem generic npc and enemies are 90% male, so a female units stand out automatically just for being female. Most of the unpopular characters are the most NPC-like, and so it would be difficult for a female character to be this unremarkable.
Macellan's FE3 portrait gives him all the personality he needs. No one else in the franchise can outdo the sheer smug energy he emits in Book 1! Regarding Deimne, I feel like his lack of votes is not because of his writing - as he's written pretty well and his Daisy lover's convo is super unique with how pessimistic it is - but more because he's a very inaccessible character to most players, especially since FE4 is built in a way where blind players will naturally get pairings.

Pitybroke
I still have him, in his unperturbed +3 state on my barracks, warming that space because he's a constant reminder of that pain
Can't believe my boy Luke is being disrespected like this
Hi Luke.
Seriously, people need to check out your *YOOOOOOOOODEEEELLLLLL* video! It's comedy gold!
I just want Daddy Hicks to be in Heroes okay? He's incredibly neat, major dad goals, and while screwed over by Kaga Era development-shortage, I think hes got the makings of a nice character. Plus, hes a good unit. I think he is anyway :)
Frankly, however, I'm SHOCKED to this very day that good boy Darros got in, which makes me happy even IF he's a pirate event alt-type character.
Yes 100% Hicks is my favorite Fire Emblem character hands down
Darros being added to Heroes will always be worth it for being voiced by ProZD.
"Prince Marth sends his regards"
Yes. Hicks is very underrated.
It probably doesn't help things that to recruit Conomore you have to kill Best Girl Amalda

If Makalov isn't Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn's bottom vote I'm going to be dissapointed with this community.
All of Macolov's votes are likely from trolls. Like when a lot of FEH haters voted Camilla to second place over Bernadetta just to spite the community.

Man, what a legend. Despite his love for Yoder he listened to the communities thoughts on him and included him on this list. I have massive respect right now. Still though, RIP Yoder.
It's sad that Deimne is so low, he's amazing :'(
In regards to Conomor, his A route counterpart Amalda scored considerably better than him, ranking at 387th with 123 votes. Still not great, but it goes to show that even within just his own game, Conomor is losing popularity contests.
Lesson learned: even Heroes players avoid the B route like the plague.
To be fair, not many players pick Route B.
@@vortexoblivion85 obviously I want my 3 sleep swords and ny 2 rank staff units, 1 with a base A rank.
Six people voted for Yoder all of them being Ghast
Aw man, I like Luke, he was a reliable cavalier in my old heroes file
Yodel's position in the polls is sad, but I personally take it as him being the most obscure character in an all-star cast and leave it at that.
He would've made a compelling "Gotoh" character (since IIRC, I don't think you get one in FE8)
I kinda want FEH to do like an "Underdog" banner, where they take the _least_ popular characters and make them into Heroes.
I mean it would be different. Considering that they put Gatekeeper and dancer Marianne in and they are both memes it would not be out of the realm of possibility.
@@johnathanedwards9054 Dancer Marianne is a meme?
I actually voted on Reiden. Good to know there were 8 others along with me... Personally, I adored a lot of the character designs in FE New Mystery of the Emblem, and had always wished for more of the characters in it to be added. I was extremely hyped for the most recent banner when they added the Coyote's Guard and Malice. Wolf, Sedgar and Malice were among my absolute favorites in FENME and FESD, so now I can finally add them to my teams. Now if only they add Nolan...

The SPEED I clicked with.
(Ex: Karla in FE7 is *_awful_* to recruit and *_useless_* in combat, but her character design is very appealing and the contrasting personalities between her and Bartre make for some fun interactions.)
But if they have three or more of these traits, it's a death sentence.
Though I can't think of a character that has great visual design but has a boring personality, is difficult to recruit and is outclassed by everyone. If you guys can think of one, please let me know.

At least Makalov is written to be hated, my boy Luke doesn’t even get that
@@someoneontheinternet3500 A fair point.

@@sora8711 Yeahh.. :c
Yoder is great. (That 29 move with him was hilarious in that older video of yours.)

Yes

When you realise that Yoder is supported by less than one whole human. That's pretty sad.
I have pretty generic tastes, but even so I always get sad when I don't see my favorite high up
Now I'm curious as to who the lowest ranked non-replacement unit is in FE4!

I forgot Luke exists in heroes xD
0:35 Naga Christ, that's depressing. SINGLE DIGIT votes.

Poor Dice, everyone overlooks him over Malice, even though in OG BSFE his Devil Axe was a godsend in the episode he was in.
Reiden's at least more deserving of his low popularity in regards to how generic he is.

@@icarusmarioFAN I definitely would've expected him to arrive alongside his daughter, but fate thought otherwise.
"Conomor doesn't scream fanservice"
Have you SEEN that moustache?
Beat FE2 awhile back and I just learned from this video Nomah was recruitable. I thought it was weird he was seen as important and then never really appeared again...
I have a personal theory that the reason why Yoder is so unpopular is because he comes with the saint’s staff and if you’re playing very quickly and not looking, you can accidentally use one of the durabilities of the staff if one of your units got chipped or got an HP level up and you aren’t paying attention on what staff you’re using while healing.
The only problem with this video is that part 2 isn't out yet
I knew that FE4 substitutes scored poorly, but I didn't notice until now that Deimne, one of the MVPs of my substitute run and my favorite substitute, scored the worst of all.
Definitely I shall spare at least one vote for him on the next CYL.
You can tell most of these are voted so low because they are not senpai Lyn recolor steps on and breaks the meta of the game.
I voted for Roberto because of a meme draft run of fe12. It caused him to be above Reiden in the end. Without me Roberto would've been in his spot in this video.

You bring up an excellent point, I didn't consider the percentage of male to female characters.
I like Dolph and Macellan's FE1 portrait
