The guy with the bullhorn saying that they were” just too darned loud” was actually Huey Lewis who wrote and performed the song that was playing when Marty was “late for school”.
I've seen countless reactions to this film, and I'm still waiting for one of them to get that inside joke. I remember seeing this in the theater when I was 11, and I thought it was a hilarious cameo. Sadly, I guess no youngster would even know what Huey Lewis looks like now, therefore they just think the character is needlessly mean.
@@torpedoboy4 Definitely an inside joke period gag that a kid, teen or young adult from the 80's would get and find quite hilarious not to mention somewhat ironic.
An interesting detail - George is left handed, but he was trying to only use his right hand to fit in for most of the movie. When he finally hits Biff, he uses his left hand to do it, which was much more effective than his right hand. Using what made him different allowed him to succeed.
Marty took out a pine tree when he left the farm - you’ll notice the change in the name of the mall from Twin Pines Mall at the beginning of the movie to Lone Pine Mall toward the end. This film is filled with cool little details
How did George get a date?? Lorain’s father hit him with the car, but Marty changed that by pushing him out of the way. Therefore, grandpa hit Marty with the car starting Lorain’s infatuation with him. Hence the problem.
BTTF is my favorite trilogy. You must watch all three. A lot of people say they don’t like Part II as much as the others but I love it. Part II has so many twists as well as an extremely interesting ending. 😎
25:12 I guessed you missed the whole story at the beginning of the movie when they explain Lorraine's father hit George with the car and it start Lorraine's infatuation with him. Marty pushed his George out of the way and he got hit by the car and changed the whole dynamic. The film clearly illustrates this.
Yeah they even explained it again in the school when doc says"what did your mother ever see in him" then Marty says" I guess she felt sorry for him cuz her dad hit him with the car.....he hit me with the car"
🎶 "That's The Power Of Love!" 🎶 Fun Fact: The judge who stands up to say that Marty is "just too darn loud" is Huey Lewis, whose songs "The Power Of Love" and "Back In Time" are featured in this movie. Small Connection Fact: When Lorraine follows Marty back to Doc's house, she and Doc exchange an awkward greeting. This marks the only on-screen dialogue that Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson ever have, though they have appeared together in six movies. Automobile Enthusiast Fact: Writers Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis actually received a fan letter from John DeLorean after the film's release, thanking them for immortalizing his car.
33:39 I don't know if you spotted it, but Former mall's name (Twin Pine Mall, where Marty join Doc at the beginning of the movie) is now called Lone Pine mall. It due to the fact that Marty hit and killed a Pine on Peabody's land when he fleed.
Far far more time has now passed 2022-1985=37 years than how much Marty went back in time 1985-1955=30 years. YT is the true time machine, Delorean optional.
welcome to the best trilogy of all time (or at least my favorite). you definitely need to watch and react to the rest of the trilogy because it's part of the BTTF experience. you're in for a ride, lemme tell ya! ❤
Arguably, the most classic ‘80s movie, certainly one of the best time travel ones too. Michael J. Fox worked 20 hour days for two months during his hit TV show to make this movie.
The name of the television show or series Conrad is referring to for those that don't know and/or weren't around in the 80's was the 1980's family sitcom hit show called Family Ties which ran on NBC from 1982 through 1989 when the series concluded.
Regarding your comment about how much you liked dinnertime with the family. I just got back from a month in France and the pace of life is just so different, and families are still eating meals around their dinner table. Our country has become addicted to money, work, material wealth and ignoring the family unit. It's a real shame, as the rest of world has still held on to that important aspect.
32:15 - Well, to be fair, he was wearing industrial strength gloves LOL And people have survived worse, like being struck by the actually lightning bolt itself. - His sister did get an upgrade. In the beginning she said "how am I ever gonna meet anyone" meaning she's having trouble dating. In the end the brother says Greg or Craig called, meaning she has so many suitors they can't keep up. - Definitely watch the sequels, the BTTF trilogy is largely hailed and beloved by everyone as being one of the best and most consistent trilogies in terms of quality, writing, acting, logic, humor, and heart. But when you get to the end of part 2, stop the video as soon as the words "To Be Concluded" appear on the screen. There's a trailer for part 3 that spoils some things. Avoid spoilers for yourself, if that matter to you. Great reaction, looking forward to the rest!
Absolutely watch the other two - they're both unique compared to the rest and all are amazing! One thing - if I remember correctly, Jennifer's actor changed for 2 and 3. (please correct me if I'm wrong there though)
Yes, you are correct an actress named Claudia Wells played Jennifer Parker in the first BTTF (1985). However, after filming the first movie she had a family emergency because her mother was diagnosed with cancer so her acting career had to be put on hold. When it came time to do the sequals which were actually filmed back to back (1989 and 1990 respectfully) Claudia was unavailable so Elizabeth Shue was hired and brought in to replace her as Jennifer Parker.
way to go youtube! The premier feature did not work, so I just had to go ahead and publish it as a normal upload. Don't forget to subscribe to vote/watch future movie reactions!
Christopher Lloyd (Doc) is still acting. You should check him out in the action movie “Nobody” which would be great to react to. It stars Bob Odenkirk from “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul”- both of which are amazing series to check out!
In BTTF Part II, there's a trailer for Part III at the end. The two movies were released ~6 months apart in 1989&1990. If you don't want to see the trailer, make sure to stop at "to be concluded" when watching Part II.
Michael J. Fox is just a brilliant actor. I had a major celeb crush on him when he was on Family Ties. Gotta watch the second and third movies, it's just not right to only watch the first!
George got a date with his wife because the car hit George originally and not Marty. I don't think my family ever ate together at the table other than Thanksgiving and xmas. I was 10 in 1970 and even then we pretty much ate in front of the tv in the living room. Then my dad got laid off from Grumman when Nixon canceled a big government contract with them for some sort of fighter planes and the Lunar Module. And my mother went to work for American Airlines and she had to be at work by 3:30pm so just my dad and I watching Yankee games on the kitchen tv when we ate. If I was even at home.
Of course the next one is worth watching! So is the third one! These are some of the ultimate best movies ever made, along with Indiana Jones and Star Wars. Timeless perfect classics.
Great reaction! You CANNOT watch the first movie and not watch Back to the Future Parts 2 and 3!!! When you do watch Part 2, at the end, when you see "to be concluded", stop your video because it immediately goes into the trailer for Part 3, which shows a lot of spoilers. You see, Parts 2 and 3 were filmed back to back and they came out with Part 3 in the theatres only six months after Part 2. Can't wait for you to watch Parts 2 and 3. If you don't watch them you won't get the full pleasure of Back to the Future!
25:01 The movie explains that the only reason George got a date with Lorraine in the first place was because she fell in love with him out of pity or sympathy after her father hit him with the car. As Doc Brown states, it's called "The Florence Nightingale Effect" - when doctors or nurses fall in love with their patients. Otherwise, George likely would've been too shy to ask her or any other woman out. But Marty's help and George standing up to Biff changed that, and Lorraine then fell in love with George for entirely different reasons - because he came to her rescue and was more assertive and confident.
By the way, remember when Biff calls George in this movie an Irish bug ? Right before he messed up the meeting of his parents? That will shown up in part 3. Marty's win in part 3 is shown in part 2 as well. A very great thinking of the trilogy and there were years between the Back to the Future part 1 and 2. So very expert thought out. Think about it. I needed to wait many years before seeing part 2 after the this one. The Irish bug is explained in part 3 WHY George is called this in part 3... Years later after the first movie
If you watch Back to the Future (BTTF) 1985 you must watch the entire trilogy because it's actually considered somewhat of a sin to fans and cinimatic history to not watch the whole trilogy to just watch the original movie and not finish the franchise.
I must say though if you do continue with these movies, you need to finish it up to part 3. There is a special message at the end of part 3 and no, the Trailer at the end of Back to the Future, part 2,does not really spoil the movie ,it just gives you an insight, that's all. And with that said, it's not the only storyline of the movie either, part 3. I will tell you that that the end of part 2 does set you up for part 3.
Back to the future trilogy is the best trilogy movie. You have to watch all three. I know 2 nd one gets a bad rap but it is still good. Watch all three.
What are you 28? Never seen back to the future? Not saying it’s far fetched but damn how sheltered were you that your parents never showed you this movie?
You did miss the beginning of the movie. Don't you remember when Marty's sister said that grandpa hit their dad with the car? Marty was hit by the car, Doc's he said words.. That's the Florence Nightengare affect, when nurses fall in love with their patients. Heavy, right?
People love 2 or hate 2 you'll have to watch it fir yourself to decide which way you lean 🤔🤣 I don't hate it but I don't love it either....my rating is 1, 3 , 2
The guy with the bullhorn saying that they were” just too darned loud” was actually Huey Lewis who wrote and performed the song that was playing when Marty was “late for school”.

i loved him saying but look at the judges. they aren't going to like that. one of them literally wrote the song they were playing for the audition
An interesting detail - George is left handed, but he was trying to only use his right hand to fit in for most of the movie. When he finally hits Biff, he uses his left hand to do it, which was much more effective than his right hand. Using what made him different allowed him to succeed.
The change in Marty's sister was that she went from "then how do I meet someone?" to her brother saying, "I can't keep track of all your boyfriends!"
You must watch parts 2 & 3 to get the full story. You'll be glad you did.
Marty took out a pine tree when he left the farm - you’ll notice the change in the name of the mall from Twin Pines Mall at the beginning of the movie to Lone Pine Mall toward the end. This film is filled with cool little details
I always wondered why Peabody never planted the tree again lol
Can we talk about how even all the music used in this movie still holds up? Power of Love and Johnny B Goode are still bops lol.
Marty is playing "Johnny B Good" written by rock & roll legend Chuck Berry.
How did George get a date?? Lorain’s father hit him with the car, but Marty changed that by pushing him out of the way. Therefore, grandpa hit Marty with the car starting Lorain’s infatuation with him. Hence the problem.
"...hit ME...with the car."
Correct!
Bruh go watch bttf
BTTF is my favorite trilogy. You must watch all three. A lot of people say they don’t like Part II as much as the others but I love it. Part II has so many twists as well as an extremely interesting ending. 😎
I love part 2 just as much as part 1. I've learned to love part 3, but it took some years.
Doc had rubber gloves on when the lightning hit.
This is just the beginning to one of the most iconic trilogies ever made.
25:12 I guessed you missed the whole story at the beginning of the movie when they explain Lorraine's father hit George with the car and it start Lorraine's infatuation with him. 22:03 "....I'm your density."

Lone Pine Mall. Brilliant!
Love it. Marty’s guitar is played by Eddie Van Halen.
The next two movies are awesome!
This is the perfectly written movie, it's taught in film school!
Arguably, the most classic ‘80s movie, certainly one of the best time travel ones too. Michael J. Fox worked 20 hour days for two months during his hit TV show to make this movie.

Crispin Glover (George McFly) played a really cool bad guy in Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2004).
32:15 - Well, to be fair, he was wearing industrial strength gloves LOL

Another Must Watch...
WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT
George McFly (Crispin Glover) is also the "Creepy Thin Man" in the Charlies Angels movies!
Absolutely watch the other two - they're both unique compared to the rest and all are amazing! One thing - if I remember correctly, Jennifer's actor changed for 2 and 3. (please correct me if I'm wrong there though)

Chuck Berry's sound was influenced by Marty 🤣
....who got it off Chuck Berry....man can't get my head round that!!😳
George was originally the one who was hit by the car, brought into the house and that was how they came to be together
This is a great movie. Great lines.
way to go youtube! The premier feature did not work, so I just had to go ahead and publish it as a normal upload. Don't forget to subscribe to vote/watch future movie reactions!
Do you read the comments ppl leave here for you? Would be nice if you reacted to them a little. ❤
GREAT SCOTT!
Christopher Lloyd (Doc) is still acting. You should check him out in the action movie “Nobody” which would be great to react to. It stars Bob Odenkirk from “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul”- both of which are amazing series to check out!
Bruh… did you really miss the whole plot? Daddy hit George with the car. That’s how Lorraine fell in love. Marty pushed him out of the way.
In BTTF Part II, there's a trailer for Part III at the end. The two movies were released ~6 months apart in 1989&1990. If you don't want to see the trailer, make sure to stop at "to be concluded" when watching Part II.
Marty winds up in 1955 my mistake as he was attempting to drive away from the terrorists. He had no control of the time display.
Michael J. Fox is just a brilliant actor. I had a major celeb crush on him when he was on Family Ties. Gotta watch the second and third movies, it's just not right to only watch the first!
George got a date with his wife because the car hit George originally and not Marty.

Calling it right now: you loved this movie.
Of course the next one is worth watching! So is the third one! These are some of the ultimate best movies ever made, along with Indiana Jones and Star Wars. Timeless perfect classics.
🎵 That's The Power Of Love... Huey Lewis & The News 🎵
1.21 GIGAWATTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone pretty much covered everything so I'll just say do all the movies, they're all great.
This is a great trilogy. All 3 movies are involved with each other.
The next two movies aren’t as good as the first, however, I think they are both pretty good and it makes for a fun trilogy.
25:01 The movie explains that the only reason George got a date with Lorraine in the first place was because she fell in love with him out of pity or sympathy after her father hit him with the car. How did George ever get a date?! Don't be such a square, Calvin.
By the way, remember when Biff calls George in this movie an Irish bug ? Right before he messed up the meeting of his parents? That will shown up in part 3. Definitely should watch the two sequels; they all make up one complete story.
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Seven, Back to School, and Traffic are a few suggestions for your next reaction.
When a movie starts like the Goonies it’s a watch whenever it’s on. I wonder if he notice the girlfriend isn’t the same actress thru out the movie
But she is the same girl throughout the movie. They didn’t change to Elizabeth Shue till the second movie. ✌🏼😎
Pepsi Free, not fresh. Free of sugar, calories and if I remember right, taste.
The best trilogy u csn see
If you don't watch BTTF 2, it's a all-time crime.
If you watch Back to the Future (BTTF) 1985 you must watch the entire trilogy because it's actually considered somewhat of a sin to fans and cinimatic history to not watch the whole trilogy to just watch the original movie and not finish the franchise.

I will tell you that that the end of part 2 does set you up for part 3.
$300 in 1955 would be, as the time of this comment, $3315.
Back to the future trilogy is the best trilogy movie. You have to watch all three. I know 2 nd one gets a bad rap but it is still good. Watch all three.
25:00 - ……did you miss the part where George was supposed to have been the one hit by the car…?
He's Uncle Fester from the Adams Family movie - I don't think it's much make up it's kinda how he looks - another film he was in was Denice The Menace
What are you 28? Never seen back to the future? Not saying it’s far fetched but damn how sheltered were you that your parents never showed you this movie?
When you get to the Halloween movies you really need to check out Rocky horror picture show
You did miss the beginning of the movie. Don't you remember when Marty's sister said that grandpa hit their dad with the car?
Marty was hit by the car, Doc's he said words.. That's the Florence Nightengare affect, when nurses fall in love with their patients.
Heavy, right?
This guy's got A.D.D. apparently....
I subscribed you for this, please watch all the remaining trilogy
I know it's been a while, but please react to BTTF 2 & BTTF 3. If you loved this film, wait till you see the other two
Gibb
you were late 37 years bro
People love 2 or hate 2 you'll have to watch it fir yourself to decide which way you lean 🤔🤣
I don't hate it but I don't love it either....my rating is 1, 3 , 2
Can you please do phantom of the opera 25th anniversary performance reaction it’s good
2 is kinda meh, but 3 is great.
Dis you say his aneurysms and personality? LOL
If you watch part 2, stop when it says "To be Concluded", otherwise major spoilers for part 3
Back to the Future II is OK, but not as good as the first one. You need to watch it though. Leeds to part III that is much better.
🚗💨 🕰️
Jeez, you’re not they bright of a guy, are you? This movie is pretty easy to follow
Back to the Future II pretty much sucked.......Back to the Future III is on par with the original.
